Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's Hollywood Home Is Ridiculously Sexy
It turns out John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are seriously talented when it comes to remodeling homes. Case in point: the stunning reno they did on this Hollywood Hills estate. John Krasinski purchased the home for about $1.9 million in 2009, shortly before marrying Emily. After extensive remodeling, the duo transformed the 1958 contemporary home from dated to drop-dead gorgeous, nearly doubling the square footage along the way to 4,724 square feet. Now they're poised to make a huge profit, having just listed the 6-bed, 5-bath home at a whopping $8 million.Justifying the hefty price tag are the home's breathtaking views, impeccable craftsmanship, and sexy design. The third floor contains thoughtful design details, such the layout in actor-director John's office which is specifically designed to foster creativity. Off the office is a breathtaking balcony on which he can unwind. Emily has an in-home pilates studio and there's even a New York City-style rooftop garden. While the home boasts a clean, modern aesthetic, it's still uncommonly warm and welcoming. This is the second West Coast home the couple has put on the chopping block in preparation for their move to the East Coast. They listed their charming Colonial Ojai country home in November.
