Season two of Supergirl almost wasn't to be; when CBS took an extralong time to renew the freshman hit starring Melissa Benoist, fans started to worry that the show might be canceled. Then came the sigh of relief - and surprise - when The CW announced that it would be the new home of the DC Comics heroine.
