» 2016 Will Always Be the Year We All (Maybe) Got Pranked by Brazilian Soccer Star Neymar Jr.
If, like us, you were super intrigued earlier in the year to find out that Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr. was launching a music career, you were totally pranked - we think.
As promised, the 24-year-old FC Barcelona forward posted a clip of the tune back in September to his Facebook page. "Muito feliz por mais essa conquista, galera. Com voces, uma palinha da minha 1ª música de trabalho: 'Yo Necesito.' Curtiram? #Neymusico," Neymar wrote beneath a video of him seated at a piano, performing his song, titled "Yo Necesito," as his friend giggles in the background - a clue that the whole #Neymusico thing might have been a joke, perhaps? Press play above to decide for yourself. We're still unsure, but if it was all a hoax, it was the best damn prank ever.
