Carrie Fisher's Original Star Wars Audition Brings a Fresh Rush of Sadness
Ever since Carrie Fisher's tragic death on Tuesday, it's been hard not to look back at the legacy she's left behind. There are, to be sure, plenty of other major roles Fisher played over the course of her illustrious career, but it's her everlasting turn as Princess Leia Organa that we all must hold closest to our hearts. Luckily for us, the Internet is an endless treasure trove of little pieces of gold, which is why we've been gifted with the audition tape that effectively launched Carrie Fisher's career into the stars. It's both heartwarming and sad to watch the clip and know how far she'll go.
