Gigi Hadid's Atelier Versace Look at the British Fashion Awards Isn't Actually a Dress at All
After getting a glimpse of Gigi Hadid's outfit at the 2016 British Fashion Awards, we're reminded yet again why she's a bona-fide fashion girl. The model, who was hot off the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, made an appearance in London for the special event wearing Atelier Versace. The gown had delicate pleating on the bodice with Swarovski crystal detailing, but it was the bottom of Gigi's outfit that our eyes gravitated toward. What looked like a gown at first sight was actually a two-piece dress and pants set from the fashion house's Fall 2016 collection.
Gigi's straight-leg pants strategically blended in with the seafoam-colored top, creating the illusion of a dress - a pretty (and stylish) trick. The outfit briefly reminded us of Emma Watson's Dior ensemble at the Golden Globes, proving the whole dress-over-pants combo is still very much in, and one we're still obsessed with to this day.
