Harrison Ford Remembers the "One-of-a-Kind," "Emotionally Fearless" Carrie Fisher
In the wake of Carrie Fisher's heartbreaking death this week, it seems Hollywood is deep in mourning. Almost immediately, reactions began pouring in from scores of celebrities and former Star Wars costars, but perhaps the most heartbreaking words came from Fisher's old flame Harrison Ford. In a new official statement, the actor said, "Carrie was one-of-a-kind . . . brilliant, original. Funny and emotionally fearless. She lived her life bravely . . . My thoughts are with her daughter Billie, her Mother Debbie, her brother Todd, and her many friends. We will all miss her." Ford had previously offered words of love and support after Fisher suffered a heart attack just before Christmas. The two last rejoined on screen for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.
