» IHOP and Applebee's Will Soon Be Under 1 Roof, but Only in This 1 City
What a time to be alive, ladies and gentlemen: IHOP and Applebee's are joining anti-hangover forces to open a combined restaurant in late 2017. This heavenly merger will be located in Detroit, but we're crossing our fingers that it spreads like wildfire across the country. Although the exact menu has not been released yet, as the Detroit Free Press reports, we can only hope that diners will be able to order breakfast all day long, just as other standalone IHOP locations allow. If your hungover self can never decide between a heaping stack of pancakes or a juicy burger to cure the previous evening's overindulgences, this combined restaurant is exactly what you've been waiting for.
This exciting news comes after the announcement that McDonald's will begin offering delivery next year - 2017 sure is shaping up to be quite the year for foodies!
