I'm Crying Laughing at This Messed-Up Trailer For The Mummy
To be perfectly honest, I'm excited about The Mummy reboot, but even if I wasn't, this trailer is hilarious. Earlier this month, Universal Pictures released the official trailer, but the IMAX account accidentally uploaded the wrong cut - one without half the sound. While they deleted it almost immediately, some hero saved it and posted it and posted it again. The slow grunts of Tom Cruise bouncing around a flailing aircraft make my heart sing. Annabelle Wallis's mouse-like squeak as she's ejected from the plane means today is going to be a good day. This whole thing is a gift.
