It's Official: Marc Anthony Has Filed Paperwork to End His Marriage to Shannon de Lima
There's no going back! Just a day after Christmas, Marc Anthony has filed paperwork to officially end his two-year marriage to Shannon de Lima, according to Us Weekly.
The news of their separation was first reported by E! News not even 24 hours after Marc and his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez locked lips on stage after an impassioned performance of their new single "Olvídame y Pega la Vuelta" at the 16th Latin Grammy Awards. Shannon was noticeably MIA at the Latin Grammys, where Marc was honored as Person of the Year.
In early December, the estranged couple, who started dating back in 2012, just five months after Marc's split with J Lo, have officially released a statement about their breakup news, saying:
"After much consideration, we have mutually and amicably decided to end our two-year marriage. We ask for privacy during this difficult process, and no further comments will be made from either one of us about this personal matter."
Sigh. We hope these two can still remain friends!
