Kat Von D's Newest Product Is Like a Double Espresso For Your Dark Circles
Around mid-January, our dark circles start to rival those of a raccoon's. Late nights partying, scant hours of daylight, and indulging in too much Champagne takes a toll on the thin skin under our eyes, making us look more tired than ever. This year, however, Kat Von D is launching a brand-new product to make our undereyes appear bright and fresh: Lock-It Brightening Powder.
Some lucky fans have already tried the product - it was briefly available during Sephora's Black Friday sale. For the rest of us that missed out, though, we'll have another chance to snap up Lock-It Brightening Powder on Sephora.com Jan. 10.
The formula appears to be an ultralightweight setting powder with brightening properties. The official brand disclosed on Instagram that it "brightens and smooths undereyes to look younger and more awake," so we'd also guess that it fills in and blurs fine lines to make you look ageless. Lock-It Brightening Powder will be available in three shades: Golden (a pale yellow), Peach (a soft bisque), and Petal (a light rose) to suit a variety of skin tones.
