Liam Neeson Takes On His Most Intense, Terrifying Role Yet: Santa Claus
There are a few lyrics in "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" that have always been vaguely creepy ("He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake"), but we never realized their full potential for freaking us out until Liam Neeson came along. The Northern Irish actor is known for his roles in terrifying thrillers like Taken and Love Actually (hey, it depends on who you ask), so he decided to put his particular set of skills to good use during an audition for a mall Santa Claus on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Between his trademark growl and sinister frown, Liam turns Santa (aka "an eye in the sky bringing swift judgment") into Krampus-approved nightmare material. Watch at your own risk, Christmas-lovers.
