Louise Roe Put Her Bridesmaids in White - and She Doesn't Regret It at All
Louise Roe doesn't regret one style move from her wedding day. "It sounds cheesy, but everything was perfect, and there's a whole long list of people to thank for that!" she told us when we chatted at the Pandora table during the Billboard Women in Music Awards. One glimpse at her custom Atelier Pronovias gown, and it's easy to see why she was happy with the outcome. The high-neck silhouette (which took 800 hours to make), was created with fabric Louise first spotted at one of the fashion house's runway shows.
Louise's bridal look was lovely and classic, but her bridesmaids' outfits were completely unique. Louise asked her four best friends to choose white Self-Portrait dresses. (Yes, we said white.)
"I always had a really clear idea of how I wanted our wedding to look, and that included white or cream bridesmaid dresses. There's something so clean and chic about matching dresses, and texture was important to me too," she said.
But was she worried the shade would take away from her own gown? Nope. "I knew my dress was going to be very different," Louise told us. Read on for proof that Louise made the right choice for her bridesmaids - she tested out the designs herself! - and find out how Sex and the City played a part in the decision. Then, shop some of the exact Self-Portrait numbers if you like what you see.
