The 1 Surprising Detail on This Gingerbread Castle You Might Overlook
Christine McConnell has outdone herself once again. The 35-year-old baker and cookbook author recently uploaded insanely beautiful images of her detailed gingerbread castle, which almost looks too gorgeous to eat, on Imgur. McConnell says she was asked to create the edible house for Food.com, and looked forward to finally getting a chance to make one.
McConnell also revealed a few jaw-dropping details about the five-foot-tall gingerbread castle, which features candy glass windows, peanut butter snowballs, and a peppermint bark reindeer cake. The only inedible part of the whole thing? The lights. The most unbelievable detail of all is one you can't see - there are "no supports" holding up the castle, according to Christine's Instagram caption. Keep reading to get up close and in person with the most creative gingerbread house you'll see this holiday season.
