These Mesmerizing UV Henna Designs Have Us Amped For Festival Season
One of our favorite ways to pass time on Instagram is to dive into a rabbit hole of henna designs. We didn't think that incredibly intricate art form could get more mesmerizing until we discovered UV henna.
These electrifying masterpieces are made of temporary, nonwaterproof body paint that glows under black light. It's not technically henna: true henna is made of the powdered brownish-red leaves of the henna plant, which leaves a stain behind. But because this modern take on the traditional style is easily removed, UV henna is a fun, festive, and low-commitment way to adorn yourself (even your face!) at music festivals, parties, or just as a unique Summer accessory.
