This Will Be the Most Popular Designer Dress of the 2017 Award Season
It's not uncommon for stars to start plucking dresses from the runway as soon as they're debuted. But there has been no collection so exciting to choose from as Dior's Spring 2017 line. Jennifer Lawrence and Bella Hadid have already selected more than one look from designer Maria Grazia Chiuri's debut show for the fashion house. Perhaps it's because these stylish, sensible celebrities like what the clothes stand for: a marriage of feminist phrases on graphic tees with pretty tulle skirts. Every outfit proved that a lady can look girlie, but be strong-as-hell in her ways.
In 2016 alone, 16 of these Dior ensembles have been shown off twice - once on the catwalk, and later on the red carpet. Though some have seen minor tweaks in colorway, straps, or embroidery patterns, these designs are clearly causing a craze. We predict it will extend far into Award season, so don't be surprised when the actors gather at the upcoming ceremonies, and Dior dresses are all over the place. Scroll for all the proof.
