Watching This SNL Set Change Is More Stressful Than Last-Minute Holiday Shopping
Ever wonder how Saturday Night Live manages to change its set so swiftly during commercial breaks? NBC released a video showing the breakdown of the cold open set from the Dec. 17 show, and it's kind of hypnotizing. The crew has less than two minutes between the actors declaring, "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!" and the moment Casey Affleck walks out on stage for his opening monologue. You can hear production counting down, and it's stressful (but oh so satisfying) to see them complete the set change without a hitch.
