The Story Behind This Man With MS Touching His Grandson Will Move You to Tears
The day a grandparent meets their grandchild is always cause for celebration, but for this family, that first meeting meant so much more.
"This is the moment my father-in-law met his grandson for the first time," wrote Erica Courson on the Love What Matters Facebook page.
Because the man has progressive multiple sclerosis, he wasn't able to be there when the baby, named Rivers, was born.
"Due to his disability, this is the very moment he finally met him after waiting for a month," she continued. "My husband is holding Rivers while his brother holds my father-in-law's hand steady so he can touch Rivers. The look on his face is priceless. So much love in one picture. My father-in-law surrounded by his two sons, meeting his grandson."
