A Dedicated Teacher Worked on Lessons Plans Just 1 Hour Before Giving Birth
In Fort Worth, TX, a teacher proved both her dedication to the job and her love for her students by putting together lesson plans from the delivery room. Rooted in Love Photography captured the expecting mother taking care of some work from her hospital bed.
On Facebook, the photographer explained the circumstances surrounding the impressive shot. "No, she is not doing her taxes. Those papers would be her lesson plans her husband is about to go drop off with her sub in the parking lot," the photographer explained, adding: "Even in labor, they care. No lie, she gave birth less than an hour later."
The astounding image has since amassed over 7,000 shares and 20,000 reactions on Facebook. What's more, it's inspiring others to give teachers the praise they deserve. On the flip side, it's encouraging other teachers to share their stories. In the comments, one teacher wrote: "I once went dumpster diving for a missing retainer a student accidentally threw away. You would be amazed at what a teacher will do for her students!"
