Honey, This Bakery Shrunk Pan Dulce Into a Bite-Size Cake Pop
A Los Angeles-based bakery has managed to turn pan dulce into cake pops, and the result is nearly too sweet to handle. According to its website, the bakers behind East Los Sweets specialize in the portable cake on a stick - in particular, ones that take inspiration from sugar skulls - as of late adding more designs that resemble Mexican staples to their menu, like pan dulce and nopales!
Based on what we've gathered from their drool-worthy Instagram account, the concha cake pops come in the traditional brown, yellow, and bright pink palettes of Mexican pan dulce. And while we love the popular sweet treat, the vibrant green nopal cake pops might actually be our favorite thing. Check out pictures of both budding dessert trends ahead.
