KFC Is Now Serving Chicken Flavored Chocolate Truffles - Yes, Really!
2017 is already becoming the year of epic food-hybrids, but we're not sure if we're ready for chicken-flavored chocolate truffles. KFC's marketing director, Clark Wilson, recently announced the news of its latest combo for New Zealand customers, just in time for Mother's Day. "We're excited to be offering a way for KFC fans to share something they love with the special mum in their life this Mother's Day," Wilson said in a press release.
30 lucky (or not-so-lucky) Facebook users were randomly selected to receive the limited-edition chocolates after participating in a contest to taste the bizarre dessert. According to a report from The New Zealand Herald, KFC's chicken truffles comes in two flavors, including "a nutty and creamy milk chocolate truffle topped with 23 carat gold leaf and seasoned with the Colonel's eleven secret herbs and spices, and a dark chocolate truffle infused with their signature hot and spicy marinade."
The popular fast food chain said it believes that chicken-flavored chocolates are "perfect for mum to savour while you finish your bucket". Personally, I'm not so sure how my mom would feel about receiving this as a last minute Mother's Day gift, but that's just me. Does this sound like something your mom like?
