NBC Cancels Timeless, Despite Fans Pleading to Save It
After one season, Timeless has been canceled. While the show may not have had impressive ratings, it did boast a passionate group of fans, many of whom campaigned on social media for a season two renewal. The cast (Abigail Breslin, Matt Lanter, and Malcolm Barrett) also attempted to rally support via Twitter, but no dice. Over the past few weeks, NBC also canceled Powerless but renewed This Is Us, The Good Place, Superstore, and Blindspot.
Perhaps Timeless will get picked up by another network, à la Nashville?
