Saturday Night Live Wasted No Time Spoofing The Handmaid's Tale
Hulu's TV adaptation of The Handmaid's Tale is gaining major buzz, so of course, Saturday Night Live wasted no time doing a skit about it. During a spoof of the series, host Chris Pine and a few of the male cast members play bros that are totally oblivious to the ways of their new Republic and its unjust treatment of women. "I think I read something about that . . . but I've been super busy with work lately," Pine's character says before his friend nonchalantly adds that the women should just fight back.
