The Kardashians Didn't Need Kanye West to Steal the Show at the Met Gala
It isn't a party without at least one of the Kardashian-Jenners present. On Monday, Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner attended the Met Gala in NYC. While the mom of North and Saint looked elegant in her simple white gown and minimal jewelry, her little sisters went for something a bit more flashy. Kylie wore a flapper-like number and Kendall opted for a barely there black dress. Of course, one member of the famous clan was missing during the event: Kanye West.
According to People, Kim's husband wasn't ready to return to the red carpet following his mental breakdown and hospitalization last year. "He's not going because he's not ready to start attending big events," a source told the magazine. "He's doing great but wants to keep his stress levels low and just wants to take more time off. Kim and Kanye are in a great place." Looks like the three ladies managed to hold down the fort in his absence.
