A Striking Pregnancy Announcement Brings New Meaning to the Phrase "Worth the Wait"
After three years of trying, an overjoyed couple was finally able to share the news that they were expecting in a striking pregnancy announcement. On the Love What Matters Facebook page, the expecting parents shared a picture of multiple sonograms, baby shoes, a pregnancy test, and a touching "worth the wait" onesie - all surrounded by hundreds of in vitro fertilization syringes.
In the caption, the couple explained that they had struggled with conceiving due to "unexplained infertility." Though they invested in everything from IVF to intrauterine insemination treatments, the couple still struggled. They even opened up about suffering a devastating pregnancy loss on Christmas.
In what the couple is calling a miracle, they finally got the good news they wanted. "Three years of prayers. Three years of hope. Three years of faith. One beautiful heartbeat," they wrote. Their miracle baby is due this November.
