Hair inspiration is everywhere, from our favorite celebrities, to mythical creatures, but I bet you never thought you'd be looking to your furry friend for your next color? Well, take a seat people because the time has arrived. Man's best friend is rocking balayage-esque beach waves that we can only dream of.

Twitter user Kerbie Gibbs shared a snap of her dog with the caption: "my dog's ear is like the perfect picture to show your hairdresser if you want beachy waves and caramel highlights," and we couldn't agree more. If you didn't know the close up was a dog, you wouldn't think twice about taking this to your hairdresser to get switch up your Summer hue.

The best part about this thread is that other dog-lovers are sharing snaps of their pets, some with the intention to show the hair colors, but mostly just so everyone can share their beloved dog pictures. Because when you have a pup, you know the feeling of just having to share a snap of your furry bestie!
