John Krasinski Shares the Cringeworthy Moment He Realized He "Married Up"
John Krasinski continues to dole out compliments for his lovely wife Emily Blunt - even if it's at his own expense. While promoting the pair's new horror film A Quiet Place, the 38-year-old actor appeared on The Tonight Show and shared a cringeworthy anecdote about a recent interaction that made him realize he really "married up."
As the audience cheered at the mere mention of Emily's name, John joked, "That reaction means I married up, and don't I know it." As host Jimmy Fallon kindly protested, John added, "Please, they don't have to tell me - the customs agent in London did." As it turns out, John was recently going through customs when the agent asked him about his profession and who he was visiting. The interaction that followed might honestly make you want to crawl into a hole on John's behalf.
While John is out here joking that he married someone out of his league, Emily is claiming that he's the more well-liked parent in their family of four. Ah, these two!
