A New The Lego Movie 2 Trailer Is Here, and It May Be Cuter Than the First One!
Although we've been counting down the days until The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part hits theaters in February 2019, the brand-new trailer just made us that much more excited for the Lego Movie sequel (the first trailer came out this Summer). Five years after the original flick premiered, Emmet, Lucy, and Batman are at it again! And this time, they need to protect Bricksburg from evil Lego Duplo invaders from outer space.
Watch as your kid's favorite characters "go where no brick has gone before" - according to the trailer - as they navigate unexplored galaxies and have a little fun along the way. Look out for familiar voices the second time around: Chris Pratt is starring as the hilariously positive Emmet again, Alison Brie will voice Unikitty, and Will Arnett will return as Batman. (Seriously, is there a better Batman voice out there?! Short answer: no!)
Parents should also keep their eyes peeled and their ears open for some new stars in the second installment. Tiffany Haddish is voicing Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, and Arturo Castro will play Ice Cream Cone. All we can say is, this movie looks freakin' good!
