Steve Carell and The Office Cast Teased a Reboot During His SNL Monologue, and I'm Not OK
Looks like we're not the only ones who want a reboot of The Office. While Steve Carell tried to get through his SNL monologue on Nov. 17, his former castmates popped out of the audience with a very specific question on their minds: would he ever do an Office reboot?" Steve rejected the idea at every turn, even as Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, and Jenna Fischer beg him to consider. "You're a real jerk!" Ellie told him, when he explains his disinterest. Even Steve's wife Nancy and his kids told him he should bring back the show.
"Feels like everybody wants this to happen. Do you guys want to see an Office reboot?" he asked the audience. Watch the video above to see the monologue in full, including the "special announcement" he shared after he brought Ellie, Ed, and Jenna on stage.
