The First Trailer For Disney's Live-Action Lion King Reboot Is Unbelievably Cute
Hear Simba roar! The first teaser for Disney's live-action adaptation of The Lion King has officially arrived, so consider us excited beyond belief. The film stars Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Beyoncé, Billy Eichner, James Earl Jones, and more in the film's biggest roles. In the brief footage above, we see a glimpse of young Simba - who's unbearably cute! - getting lifted for all to see by Rafiki on Pride Rock, in a re-creation of one of the 1994 animated film's most iconic moments.
Unsurprisingly, the CGI is perfection, which has us even more excited for it to come out. Between this film, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch, and all the other live-action Disney adaptations scheduled for release, we have so much to look forward to. Watch the first teaser above before it hits theaters on July 19, 2019, then check out all the other A-list actors who have joined the cast so far.
