Katy Perry Goes Full Maddy Glam With a Sparkling Euphoria-Inspired Makeup Look

Katy Perry is the latest star to jump on the Euphoria-inspired makeup bandwagon, and damn, she looks good doing it. The 34-year-old singer's makeup artist, Michael Anthony, recently shared a video of her bejeweled beauty look that gave a major nod to the character Maddy Perez. He surrounded Perry's eyes with delicate crystals and covered her lids with pink shadow, topping them off with subtle winged liner.

"This looked so mesmerizing in person and in the lights on stage," Anthony wrote on Instagram, accompanying a glittering video of Perry in the makeup chair. "Been super inspired by Euphoria to bring the crystals back out and last night was a perfect opportunity to shine a little brighter. The crowd went berserk for her!!" Anthony made sure to credit Kellie DeFries, aka "The Crystal Ninja," for her contribution to Perry's look as well.

Maddy (played by Alexa Demie) and several other cast members had the chance to show off fun and creative beauty looks through their characters. The intricately placed rhinestones, colorful eye shadow, and glitter galore are not easy to replicate, since the show's makeup artists, Doniella Davy and Kirsten Sage Coleman, set a high standard. Something tells us we'll be seeing a lot more of these "euphoric" re-creations come Halloween.
