JoJo Rabbit: Watch the Trailer For Taika Waititi's "Anti-Hate" WWII Satire
If you're already dreading the long wait we have to endure before Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder arrives in theaters, we have some good news: the New Zealand director's next film, JoJo Rabbit, is almost here. What's more? We have a new trailer!
Waititi (who's pulling triple duty as director, star, and writer) appears in the film as Adolf Hitler in this World War II comedy - technically it's been dubbed an "anti-hate" satire - that follows a young boy in Hitler's army who discovers that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl, Elsa (Thomasin McKenzie) in their home. As JoJo becomes closer to Elsa, his opinions begin to change.
Joining Waititi, McKenzie, and Johansson in the cast are Rebel Wilson, Sam Rockwell, Alfie Allen, and more, so keep your eyes peeled for the film when it hits theaters on Oct. 18.
