The New Trailer For War Drama 1917 Includes Basically Every British Actor You Love

I suggest sitting down before you watch the new trailer for Sam Mendes's upcoming war drama, 1917, since the World War I epic looks tense as f*ck.
The Skyfall director presents us with a story about two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic's George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones alum Dean-Charles Chapman), whose superior (Colin Firth) gives them a seemingly impossible mission: Sneak into enemy territory and hand-deliver a message to stop an attack set for the next morning, which has the potential to kill 1,600 men. With Blake's brother's life at risk, the two set off on a journey that has a low chance of survival for everyone involved.
In addition to MacKay, Chapman, and Firth, the cast is rounded out by Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Madden, Mark Strong, and Andrew Scott. Watch the trailer for 1917 above before the film arrives in theaters on Christmas Day.
