Actual Sparks Flew at This Enchanting Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff Engagement Photo Shoot
Before they could even see over the counter at Honeydukes, Kat Andrusco and Spencer Howard were best friends who bonded over their love for all things vintage and magical. Years later, the two young wizards became a couple and went on to celebrate their love with a Harry Potter-themed engagement photo shoot inspired by their shared love for the wizarding world.
Kat, a Hufflepuff, and Spencer, a Ravenclaw, decided to promote some Hogwarts inter-house unity by incorporating their house colors into the shoot, which took place at the University of California Los Angeles on Nov. 2, 2019. Making it clear that this was not a muggle engagement, the couple made the shoot a little more magical with the use of wands, flying key earrings, Kat's black cape, Spencer's Ravenclaw broche, a Platform 9 3/4 pin, a mini cauldron, and a copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Most magical of all, Kat and Spencer sent actual sparks flying with the creative use of dry ice and colorful lights to re-create the effect of magic emanating from the tips of their wands and the result is absolutely stunning.
