Miley Cyrus Is the Epitome of '80s Glam at the MTV VMAs
The mullet haircut has been staging a comeback this year, but tonight may be the first time that we've seen the throwback style hit a red carpet all year thanks to Miley Cyrus and her appearance at the 2020 Video Music Awards. The singer has been wearing the haircut for a few months now, but somehow when she showed up to the show's virtual red carpet on Sunday night, her hair looked even more mullet-y than before.
Cyrus's style for the event mimicked the '80s glam that seemed to inspire her latest music video for "Midnight Sky." She wore a strapless, mesh maxi dress with jewel accents and matching elbow-length gloves that she paired with bright red lipstick and black eye makeup.
