Stormtroopers Dancing to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" Is a Gift From the Internet

You never know what to expect from performers when you're watching talent shows, like stormtroopers competing on Britain's Got Talent and dancing to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies." The group appeared on the show in Star Wars gear and surprised everyone with choreography to songs like "Gangnam Style" and "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)."

For those wondering who is in the suits, it appears that the group is made up of a group of guys from Liverpool between the ages of 17 and 24. Their stage name is Boogie Storm (very appropriate). The five-minute video already has more than 4 million views in just two days. Watch for yourself to see if the group made it to the next talent round. The 24 Hottest Onscreen Moments Dwayne Johnson Has Blessed Us With

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson first burst onto the scene as a wrestler on WWE, and while many swooned over his ridiciously good looks and signature charm, it wasn't until he broke into the acting world that the world actually took notice of the star's bulging muscles and million-dollar smile. 18 Things That Happen in Every Grey's Anatomy Episode

After 12 seasons of Grey's Anatomy, Shonda Rhimes can still find ways to surprise the audience. You would think watching a death, a birth, or a steamy makeout session between two doctors would be boring by now, but nope. We're just as glued to our screens as we were 11 years ago and we want to watch the doctors' journeys until the end. As any longtime Grey's watcher knows, there are themes that repeat in every episode, but that might just be the thing that makes the show so addictive. With the season finale right around the corner, we thought we'd highlight the things that happen in pretty much every episode of Grey's - because chances are you probably noticed them, too.

15 Foods to Help You Sleep

If you rely on sleeping pills for a good night's sleep, take note: a recent study found that those who took sleeping aids like Ambien and Lunesta had a higher risk of dying sooner or developing cancer. While the jury's still out on whether the study found merely a correlation between being sick and taking sleeping pills (rather than the medication being the cause of the early deaths), why not play it safe with a natural fix? If you're a restless sleeper, try eating any of these foods a few hours before bedtime and be ready for a personal visit from Mr. Sandman.

The Workout That Helped This Woman Lose 230 Pounds

Weight-loss success happens when you truly love to live a healthy lifestyle, as Cynthia Ortega found out. Here, she tells Zumba's lifestyle blog, Zlife, about her struggles with weight and how she finally found what works - and lost 230 pounds!

Cynthia: Before

Born and raised in Houston, Cynthia Ortega used to look in the mirror and hate what she saw. "I felt horrible and sad," she says. "I used to dread going to restaurants with my husband because I knew I wouldn't fit in the seat." Often smiling on the outside, deep down inside, she wasn't happy. She was trapped in her own body, desperately wanting to be someone else. Even her husband, who was very supportive, felt helpless.

Heavy mostly her whole life, she had never exercised and had many failed attempts with crash diets. One day, while standing in line to order pizza with her husband, a little girl pointed at Cynthia and said to her mom, "Look mom, that's a big lady!" Everyone heard it and Cynthia was mortified. In 2009, she was hospitalized with the swine flu and couldn't even fit through the MRI machine. She went into an induced coma and had to learn to walk and eat again. Due to her weight, she also discovered she had sleep apnea and diabetes.

Cynthia: Before

At a crossroads in her life, it finally clicked for Cynthia that she had to get healthy for herself and her young son who looked up to his mom and needed a positive influence. In 2013, she stumbled across a gym near her home and peeked in to see people taking a Zumba class. "It just looked like a lot of fun and something I could do." She and her friend signed up and, within one month of taking two classes per week, she lost 30 pounds! And that was just the beginning of her transformation.

Cynthia: After

Now 230 pounds lighter, she takes Zumba classes 12 times per week and puts more thought into her diet. She even started a YouTube page to chronicle her weight loss, called "BestFriendFitness" in the hopes of inspiring others out there to get healthy.

At 29 years old and married for eight years, Cynthia is inspiring her husband and family members to be healthy and eat foods in moderation. "Now, when my husband takes me out to a restaurant, I don't have to care about the chairs and if I'll fit in them. I love taking selfies and when I look in the mirror I feel great." She recently went back to the doctor for some tests and stayed four extra days to find out that all her health issues had disappeared and her heart rate was that of a fit person's!

Cynthia: After

So what is Cynthia's advice to others who are suffering from weight issues? "Find what works for you and something you're passionate about. You have to be persistent. You can't expect results from one day to the next. Zumba Fitness is challenging for me. My friends think I make it look easy, but I get out of breath . . . sore . . . tired. It's something that I truly love."

You Won't Ever Want to Try Something You See on the Internet Again After Watching This Video

There are plenty of internet challenges that are pretty harmless. But every now and then, one dare pops up that no one should try because it's simply too dangerous. One young girl learned that lesson the hard way after trying the latest trend and getting a chunk of hair pulled out from her head.

The trend, called the corn drill challenge, originated when a vlogger called Eater Yang ate an entire corn cob in 10 seconds by putting it on a power drill. Though the video is fun to watch, it's clearly something no one should attempt - except this girl from China did. As she attempted the challenge, some strands of her hair got caught in the drill and promptly ripped from her scalp. The result? A large bald patch on her head. In a video from LiveLeaks, the girl is seen receiving treatment, and the website reports that the doctor "says [her] hair will grow like normal." Watch the two videos below.

The lesson to take away here? Don't try any challenge that looks even remotely dangerous. You could end up like this poor girl or worse.

Start the Day Right With Uplifting Shower Bombs

Refresh with invigorating scents that wake you up. Simply toss one of these shower bombs in your shower and enjoy the enveloping smells that help make your day great. Made with vibrant-smelling essential oils combined with baking soda, the shower bombs elevate mornings to a whole new level. And a collection of these homemade shower bombs would also make a great gift for someone you love.

What You Need:

  • Small mixing bowl
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 30 drops orange essential oil
  • 30 drops lavender essential oil
  • 30 drops lemongrass essential oil
  • Spray bottle filled with water
  • Silicone mold

Directions:

  1. Mix together the baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch in a small mixing bowl, breaking up any lumps. The baking soda and cornstarch help hold together the bombs, while the citric acid gives the refreshers a bit of fizz.
  1. Slowly add the essential oils, and mix. Orange is a great scent that calms while refreshing. Lavender rejuvenates along with the lemongrass. Give the mixture a spritz of water, and then stir. Continue spritzing and stirring until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  1. Now press into silicone molds, and let set until dry, which can take up to eight hours. Carefully pop out of molds.
  1. The next time you need a bit of rejuvenation, toss a shower bomb in the bottom of your shower and enjoy the wonderful scent. You can even add to a bath for an invigorating soak.

3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Cooking With Tofu

If you haven't had properly cooked tofu, I can understand why you wouldn't be a fan of the sometimes squishy, flavorless, white chunks. Even if you're not a vegetarian, it's time for you to fall in love with this meat alternative, since it's an inexpensive, low-fat, and low-calorie way to get protein into your diet without adding cholesterol.

1. Tofu Doesn't Have to Be Soft, Squishy, and Flavorless
Tofu comes in many varieties: silken, soft, firm, extra firm, and super extra firm. If you're turned off by the gelatinous texture, choose super firm or super extra firm. Another plus to buying a denser consistency is that it's higher in protein per serving (11 grams compared to eight grams for firm tofu). Make sure to press out the excess water in tofu before using it to reduce the mushy texture. Pressing out excess water also makes it easier for tofu to absorb sauces or marinades, making for a tastier dish.

2. Tofu Isn't Like Other Meat Alternatives
If you've tried tempeh or seitan before and were not a fan of the grainy or chewy texture and the slightly earthy flavor, know that tofu is completely different. Made from soybeans, tofu has a smooth, spongy texture, and virtually no taste whatsoever. What you might like better about tofu is that it'll take on the flavor of whatever you add to it.

3. Tofu Doesn't Have to Be Cooked
What makes tofu such an easy source of protein is the fact that it can be eaten raw. Keep marinated tofu stored in the fridge to add to fresh salads or sandwiches, or add diced tofu to soups, quiches, tomato sauce, or pasta. Use a salad dressing as an easy marinade, or soak in soy sauce, ginger, and cumin. If you want a drier, chewier consistency, bake or panfry the marinated tofu and make these cucumber tofu rolls. It can also be blended into a smooth, creamy consistency, which makes it a great ingredient to add to smoothies or use to make chocolate mousse.

Oh Sh*t - Everyone Can See What You've "Liked" on Facebook, but Don't Panic!

We all absentmindedly scroll through Facebook "liking" and reacting to posts as they come up on our News Feeds. Sometimes, you might "like" a post you shouldn't - like one of your former significant other that no one should know about - except any one of your friends can easily look it up. Don't fret! You can fix what you "like" on Facebook super quickly.

First, you should see if you even have any incriminating "likes" on your account. To do so, just search "photos 'liked' by me." At the top you'll see a collage of photos you've "liked." Hit "see more," and you'll get the full deal. If you see any photos you want gone from your history of "likes," you can easily un-"like" it from here. Or you can head to your activity log and un-"like" items there. To get to that section, hit the down arrow button at the top of your Facebook News Feed. From this drop-down menu, select "activity log." Once you're on this page, you'll see everything you've "liked" and who can see what.

You might not think this is such a big deal until you realize you can search for "photos 'liked' by my friends." There, you'll see every photo they've "liked" - which might include people you're not on good terms with, an ex, and so on. An example is below.

Thankfully, now you know how to change that. To master Facebook even more, check out more tips and tricks.

7 Ways to Travel Well With Others

Traveling with friends can be amazing, as long as you do a few important things! Writer, photographer, and world traveler Wendy E. Simmons offers some great tips for your next trip.

Traveling with a friend may seem like a no-brainer when it comes to bright ideas, but even your best friend can get on your last nerve by the end of your first day if you have conflicting travel styles and preferences.

But it doesn't have to be so. When you travel with a friend, you are essentially engaging in a vacation relationship, and like all relationships, communication, consideration, and compromise are key to its success.

When I travel (and if I'm being honest, in life), I like to do what I want, when I want, how I want, which does not make me a particularly awesome travel companion, by nature. But, if I follow my own most excellent advice, I am not at all bad. In fact, I'm downright fun. Thus I share my best advice with you:

1. Discuss . . . before you go.

What premarital counseling is to marriage (e.g. ensuring you both want children, or you both want to live in a log cabin in Alaska before you say, "I do"), a frank, honest discussion about how to travel together is to your trip. Before you pack your bags, make sure you discuss your expectations, how you like to travel, how you envision your daily routine, what you want to accomplish, what is and isn't acceptable to you, what you're willing to compromise on, and so forth. It may sound pedantic, but differences in travel styles and priorities are what create the misunderstandings, disagreements, and resentment that can quickly ruin your trip, and your friendship.

2. Money money money.

Before you start planning anything, openly discuss budgets – how much, and on what, are you willing and/or able to spend? Establishing and agreeing to monetary parameters in advance can be a trip saver. After all, one traveler's bargain may be another's bank breaker.

3. Here kitty kitty.

I invited 11 of my friends and family to spend a week with me in a villa I rented in Positano. The prospect of trying to split bills 12 ways (especially after a few cocktails) was untenable, so instead I instituted a "kitty" system and asked everyone to make an equal-cash contribution to fund agreed-upon group activities and meals. To keep things really fair, if one of us consistently drank more, or ordered more expensive items, he or she simply contributed a little extra to the kitty. We enlisted our most mathematically inclined friend, Kelly, who we quickly nicknamed Kitty Kelly, to be in charge, and she alone paid bills and kept tabs on the kitty. If the kitty ran low, we all contributed an equal amount of cash again. Whether you're traveling with one friend or ten, a call for the kitty means less stress and no time wasted hassling over who owes money to whom, or who paid for what.

4. Compromise on compromising.

Whoever said, "When we compromise, everyone wins" was an idiot. When traveling, compromising means no one gets to do exactly what he or she really wants, unless . . . you take turns compromising. In other words, I may not have any interest in going to that museum, but my traveling companion may not want to go on that boat ride through the swamp either. So, I'll go to the museum with zero complaint, a completely open mind, and the intention to enjoy myself, in exchange for which my travel companion will do the same on Das Boat. Now we both get exactly what we want, and nine times out of 10, you end up enjoying an experience you would likely have never tried otherwise. So much better than abandoning both first choices for a second or third choice you can both agree on.

5. Go your own way (you can go your own way).

On the other hand, splitting up for a few hours or days to tackle activities that are important to you, but not to your traveling companion, is perfectly okay. You get to have your cake and eat too – the benefit of traveling with a friend, but the freedom to explore certain aspects of the itinerary independently. Besides, a little alone time is the perfect remedy for too much together time.

6. Ready, set, go . . . get ready first.

Whoever takes longer to get ready has to start getting ready first. That's the rule, unless the person who gets ready faster doesn't mind being ready and then having to wait for the person who takes longer. Who has to wake up first to shower so you aren't late? The one who takes longer to get ready. Who has to leave the beach first to make sure you make your reservation? The one who takes longer to get ready. Follow this formula and peace will reign.

7. Remember, it's temporary.

You've both spent valuable time, and most likely, limited disposable income, to be wherever you are, and all either of you want is to be happy and have fun. You aren't moving in together forever. You're on holiday for a few weeks, or months (worst case), so suck it up. If she wants to sleep in, but you want to get up and going early, who cares? You get up and going and let her sleep in and agree to meet someplace in a few hours. She wants the lights off early? Bring an eBook with back lighting. Surely you can survive a week this way? If he doesn't stop chewing his food so loudly you're going to lose it? Knock it off. Have a piña colada, be grateful you have a friend who is willing to travel with you, and enjoy your vacation.

The Foolproof Method to Getting Perfectly Medium-Rare Steak Every Time

Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Anna Monette Roberts

Steak: delicious to eat, sometimes complicated to make. And if you, like most people, prefer yours cooked medium rare, you've undoubtedly struggled with getting that perfect pink and juicy center. Allow me to introduce you to your new favorite way to determine your steak's doneness: the visual method. If you have clear vision and a clock nearby, you can cook a perfect steak, no thermometer or guessing-games required.

The visual method means you look for something very specific as your steak is grilling: beads of juice that form on the sides and the top of the steak as it's cooking. This usually takes about six minutes on the first side and about five on the next, so that's why it's helpful to keep an eye on the time. I learned this cooking method from an expert at Omaha Steaks, and I can guarantee you it works.

Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Erin Cullum

First thing's first, though - make sure you oil your meat, not the grill. This ensures the steak is evenly coated and the seasoning (whether it's steak seasoning or a generous amount of salt and pepper) will stick to the meat. Then, once your grill is preheated to 500°F-600°F, place your steak on the grill and keep it closed. After six minutes, you'll want to open it up and look for those glistening beads of juice. If they haven't started forming, keep checking periodically over the next minute until it looks ready to flip, and repeat for about another five minutes. When the other side starts to sweat, that's when you know it's time to take it off the grill and - most important! - let it rest for five whole minutes before cutting into it to lock the juices inside.

Then your perfectly medium-rare steak is ready to be devoured. Happy grilling season!

Is Kale Really Healthier Than Spinach?

Throwing some leafy greens into your smoothie is a great way to trick your taste buds into getting added fiber and calcium - it purees so well with the sweeter ingredients that you can't even taste it. I usually add whatever I have in the fridge - like baby spinach leaves or chopped kale - but does one offer bigger nutrition bang for your buck? Check out the chart below to see how these two veggies compare.

As you can see, they both offer the same amount of fiber and protein, but for fewer calories, spinach offers more folate, which is necessary for pregnant or nursing moms. Spinach is also higher in iron, which your body needs to carry oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. It offers more magnesium - a mineral that if you're deficient in can lead to headaches, muscle cramps, and chronic fatigue. You'll also appreciate the higher levels of manganese needed to keep your blood sugar levels and thyroid functions normal. And who couldn't use a little extra potassium? This valuable mineral helps with bone growth and may reduce high blood pressure.

Kale does win for slightly more bone-strengthening calcium, as well as tons more immune-boosting vitamin A. It also offers half your RDI of vitamin C, which is also needed for a healthy immune system. Kale also offers a crazy amount of vitamin K, which is needed for blood clotting and bone health.

These two leafy greens definitely pack a nutritious punch for different reasons, so choose the one that'll fill your vitamin and mineral needs. If you're pregnant or have high blood pressure, spinach might be the one to reach for, and if you feel like you're coming down with a cold, grab some kale. If you're not sure, add both to your smoothie! This flat belly smoothie recipe can be made with spinach, kale, or a combination of both.

These Photos Capture a Beautiful, Rare Cosmic Moment Between Mercury and the Sun

Mercury passed in front of the sun on May 9, and if you're like us, you probably missed this rare event on your way to work. The cosmic occurrence only happens a dozen times per century and began early in the morning on May 9, at 7:12 a.m., lasting for seven and a half hours. Anyone could have seen Mercury's transit if they had a pair of high-powered binoculars or a backyard telescope.

If you didn't have any of these options available to you, that's completely OK. NASA's Facebook page gave a recap of the incredible event and even took to Twitter to share some awesome images of Mercury trekking in front of the sun. According to NASA, the planet goes around the sun every 88 days, but rarely do all three bodies (Mercury, the sun, and Earth) align. Usually, Mercury darts above or below our line of sight to the sun, so the fact we can see it today is pretty incredible. And the next Mercury transit isn't until 2019!

Until then, see what you've missed below, and check out other stunning snapshots from cosmic events.

Here's Exactly What a Dump Cake Is and How to Make It

Dump cake: sounds gross, tastes great. You've probably had a dump cake before without even realizing it, and if you have caught on to the fact that the dessert has become super popular (especially on Pinterest), you know that it's really just a name for an incredibly easy dessert that requires zero baking skills. You put (well, dump) cake mix and some type of fruit in a baking dish, and that's it. The best part is you don't need a set-in-stone recipe. All you have to do is follow a basic formula, and then you can substitute with whatever ingredients you prefer. The formula really is as simple as this:

Cake mix + fruit filling = dump cake

Please note the cake mix part - this is not a place for scratch-made cake, and no one is judging you for using a box of store-bought yellow cake mix. Also, the fruit filling can be (and usually is) canned. That's where the convenience of dumping comes in! You don't have to mix any ingredients or dirty a bowl, and it's the most convenient treat to make for Summer dinner parties or potlucks. So do yourself a favor and whip up a dump cake the next time you want a crowd-pleasing dessert but don't feel like exerting a whole lot of effort.

Here's a basic recipe to get you started: cherry peach dump cake

A Definitive Answer to Whether You Can "Make Up" Sleep

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: sleep is not an option. It shouldn't be something you pick and choose, like whether to get extra toppings on a pizza - sleep is the bread itself beneath the cheese and sauce. It's the nuts and bolts that hold us together and help us function as working members of society. One Quora user asked whether it's possible for him or her to catch up on poor sleep over the weekend. Wellness guru Arianna Huffington took the liberty of responding, and you might be able to guess what her unequivocal answer was:

No, unless you have a genetic mutation that allows you to function on less than the recommended amount of sleep. You either have the mutation or you don't, so it's not something you can develop over time or something you magically acquire because of your dedication to your job.

There is a universal, scientific consensus that seven to eight hours of sleep is necessary for optimal health. Lack of sleep over time can lead to an irreversible loss of brain cells, debunking the myth that sleep debt can be made up.

While chronic poor sleep can have long-lasting effects on our health, naps can help mitigate some of those effects, at least in the short-term. According to a study by the Sorbonne University in Paris, short naps were found to lower stress and boost the immune system. "Our data suggests a 30-minute nap can reverse the hormonal impact of a night of poor sleep," said one study coauthor, Brice Faraut. "This is the first study that found napping could restore biomarkers of neuroendocrine and immune health to normal levels." Short of time travel, a next-day nap may be the closest we can get to a second chance at a good night's sleep.

User Robert Locke, who has studied and written about sleep disorders, backs up Arianna's sentiments. In the thread, he lists all the negative consequences a lack of sleep can have on your health, including mood swings, a weakened immune system, poor attention span and focus, and increased food cravings. User Mithiran Nambiar confirms this in a comical metaphor: "Of course not . . . it's like skipping a meal or two and then devouring everything that you missed in the next meal. You will be hungry like hell but you can't definitely consume everything that you see! Sleep is just like that."

There you have it, folks. You can't technically make up sleep. If you have trouble getting those zzz's, check out our tips for sleeping better. And while you're at it, why not take the seven-night sleeping challenge? Happy resting!
