Look Back at Kim Kardashian's Sexiest Halloween Costumes
Celebrities love to dress up for Halloween, and Kim Kardashian is one of the few that usually go all out! Her many, often revealing Halloween looks through the years show that she's mastered the art of a sexy costume with outfits inspired by movies, animals, and even fictional characters. In 2014, Kim stuck to her sexy theme with a painted skeleton look, but she kept things tame in 2015 with a clever costume centered around her growing baby bump. Who knows what she'll do this year, but with one major feud under her belt, we wouldn't be surprised if she went as a certain blonde singer.
Jason Momoa Looks Like He's Having the Best Family Vacation Ever
Though Jason Momoa is notoriously private about his gorgeous wife, Lisa Bonet, and their two adorable kids, the burly Aquaman actor can't help but share photos of his family when they're having a good time. Amid rumors about his next major film project, Jason swept his "familia" off to Barcelona, Spain for a week of rock climbing, bonding time, and beautiful scenery.
In his usual adrenaline-junkie style, Jason has spent part of the vacation at a friend's rock-climbing gym . . . even participating in a climbing competition that's open to the public. Aside from the ripped shirtless photos of Jason and his childhood friends, though, he's also shared some beautiful snaps of Lisa, Nakoa-Wolf, and Lola. Check out the sweetest shots from his family vacation, and you'll feel like you basically tagged along to Barcelona!

This Disabled Soldier Visited 1 Little Boy to Show Him That His Injury Won't Hold Him Back
Diego Mercado and many wounded servicemen and women have more than one thing in common: not only do they have a prosthetic limb but they also find inspiration in each other.
As the son of an army veteran, 10-year-old Diego has always wanted to be a soldier but because this little boy was only born with one leg and just two fingers on his right hand, this dream felt uncertain.
But one day at a Ride 2 Recovery wounded warrior event, Diego saw service members who had amputations like his.
"At some point I maybe wanted to tell him that maybe he can't join the military because of his challenge," his dad, Jason Mercado, told News 4 San Antonio. "But as [the wounded soldiers] passed, they saw Diego with a prosthetic sitting out front, and one by one they stopped. That day I knew I didn't have to tell him because he saw those guys out there, they were still active duty guys doing it."
Since then, Diego not only works out with wounded veterans, like retired marine Jose Luis Sanchez, as a way to see that his body has no limits, but he and his dad have also started Team Diego. The mission of this father-son nonprofit is to bring awareness and support to wounded veterans, military families, and children with disabilities. The duo also regularly competes together in 5K races to support other wounded warrior non-profit organizations.
"Just looking at him now, the potential is endless," said Jason.

You Won't Believe What's Inside of These Soda Bottles (Hint: It's Not Soda)
At first glance, you might think that the above are your average bottles of soda. But with a twist of a cap and the slice of a knife, an entire cake is revealed inside. The incredibly realistic-looking soda cakes are the creations of Sydney-based baker Andres Fatso.
The sweet sculptures are as insane as they look. Each cake flavor is made to complement the color scheme of the beverages (like green matcha cake for Sprite and Nutella for Coca-Cola), and they are molded into edible replicas of the bottles sitting in your refrigerator. The edible creations can be carried just about anywhere and are basically what every sugar-lover's dreams are made of. Get a better look at the thirst-quenching cakes ahead.
Take a Look Back at All the People Kristen Stewart Has Dated
Kristen Stewart has been in the spotlight for quite some time now, but she is still notoriously private about her life, especially when it comes to who she's dating. While some of her relationships have been more public than others, she has certainly had her fair share of love and heartbreak over the years. Take a look back at some of her former and current flames, and then check out 16 of her best quotes about growing up, believing in yourself, and all that in between.
Zelda Williams on Coping With Her Dad's Death: "Nobody Would Let Me Do Anything"
It's been just over two years since Robin Williams's tragic death, and his daughter, Zelda, seems to have finally found some peace. The 27-year-old actress stopped by Chelsea this week and opened up about how she was able to move on and find a silver lining following her famous dad's heartbreaking suicide. "I just kept going, 'Well, okay. Today I'm going to wake up and love what I do. And then tomorrow I'm going to wake up and be happy and love what I do. And then the next day.' Because that's all you can do," she said. "For a while no one would let me do anything. I think there's, like, that reaction of like, 'Oh sh*t. Are you okay?'" The interview is just the latest time Zelda has talked about her dad. In addition to getting a tattoo in his honor, she also opened up about their close bond on the Today show and wished him a happy birthday on Instagram.
33 Things Every Dad Should Say to Raise Strong, Empowered Daughters
Whether your little one is a "daddy's girl" or still working on her relationship with Dad, there's no denying the importance of this male figure in a little girl's life. A dad's love is typically the first male love a child receives and his influence helps set the path for the person that kid becomes. It isn't easy to raise a strong and independent daughter, but certain things a father figure says has the power to help - or hinder - this growth. Although it might feel like these are just simple phrases in passing, hearing these 33 things from Dad can stick with a little girl for years to come and help shape her into a passionate and empowered young lady.

The Incredible Viral Blood Donation Campaign We Hope Makes Its Way to the US
While it may seem like there is a bandit removing all the As, Bs, and Os from signs across the globe, it's actually a blood donation campaign. In an effort to encourage people to donate blood, Missing Type is calling on corporations to remove the blood type letters from their signs and emphasize the dwindling resources.
The campaign was launched by the NHS Blood and Transplant department of the British National Health Service. However, cities and companies around the world are joining the effort - Microsoft, Google Japan, Tesco, the famous Amsterdam sign, and the famous Toronto sign have all blocked out the correlating letters.

After a drop in blood donations of nearly 30 percent in the last decade, the Missing Type campaign hopes to stress the importance of donating. An even more staggering statistic, as reported by the World Health Organization, is that 33 people per 1,000 donate blood, which means bank levels are consistently low. As the campaign goes more viral, we anticipate American companies joining the cause. To donate blood in America, visit the Red Cross's donation site map.

10 Celebrity Sunburn Mishaps That Actually Hurt to Look At
Celebrities usually pride themselves on looking put together most of the time, whether it's for a red carpet appearance or a quick coffee run. But when it comes to Summer, nobody is really safe from the dangerous rays of the hot sunshine. We can all apply sunscreen until the cows come home, but sometimes we forget, it washes off, or we've just been outside for too damn long. And since most stars like to document their vacations and days at the beach on social media, we get to see every moment up close (sometimes too close). To ease the pain (both literally and figuratively) of our own summertime mishaps, check out a few celebrities who also couldn't hide their sunburns.
Why It's OK to Care About Celebrity News and "Real Issues" at the Same Time
We've all been there - you scroll through Facebook, you stumble upon an article, and before you can even click in to read and judge it for yourself, you spot it: the inevitable "Who cares?" sitting atop the list of comments like a harbinger of hostility. It's typically followed by an effusive reply: "You, since you took time to comment!," which feels like vindication but really just opens a whole new can of worms. This trifecta of passive aggression is finally rounded out with some variation of "This is news?," "Focus on the real issues!," or "There are more important things going on in the world right now."
This bothers me for a few reasons, none of which involve the fact that it's literally my job to care about and cover those so-called "unimportant" things. It is, of course, entirely possible to care about more than one thing at the same time. Our brains can process, store, and maintain an incredible amount of information; that's why you can walk and chew gum at the same time, or worry about world hunger while also wondering what you're going to eat for lunch that day. But this sentiment also implies that only hard, serious news is "important," and ignores the reality: that it's just really, really exhausting to be focused on the "real issues" all the time.
It implies that only hard, serious news is "important" and ignores the reality: that it's just really, really exhausting to be focused on the "real issues" all the time.
The past two years have been pretty rough, both mentally and emotionally, where the news is concerned: I personally am simultaneously stressed out about everyday life things like succeeding at work, paying bills on time, and maintaining personal relationships while also dealing with the added anxiety of mass shootings, police brutality, rape culture, natural disasters, and Donald Trump becoming president. On top of dealing with street harassment and the possibility of being hit by a Muni bus while walking in the city, I also have to consider the chances of my family members being racially profiled by police and my friends traveling abroad being caught in a terrorist attack. There are "real issues" that plague us every day in our families, our friend groups, our romantic relationships, and our neighborhoods. I'm well aware of the "real issues." I'm fully caught up on the "actual news." And like many other people, I'm f*cking drained.
That is precisely why, when a famous couple gets engaged or divorced, a superhot actor goes shirtless on the beach, or Beyoncé shares a cute photo of Blue Ivy on Instagram, we should let ourselves care about it. We should give ourselves (and each other) the freedom and space to get excited and express enthusiasm about celebrity news, because it offers a respite from all the completely depressing things going on - at least until another completely depressing thing happens.
As Cheryl Strayed once wrote: "There are so many things to be tortured about, sweet pea. So many torturous things in this life." Life isn't easy, and we all need something to help us through it. For some people, it's yoga and meditation; for others it's reading about all the women Leonardo DiCaprio has dated, poring over photos of Prince George, or watching the drama unfold between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. The best part is that there's room for all of it; you can support the Black Lives Matter movement while also hoping that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get back together, and you can follow the presidential election with the same fervor as you follow Chrissy Teigen's Instagram account.
The next time somebody tries to make you feel bad for essentially taking a break from the "more important things going on in the world," calmly remind them that as a living, breathing, human person, you are fully capable of grasping both world news and pop culture headlines. When it comes to what you turn to for self-care (especially in trying times), you just need to do you. At the end of the day: who cares?

Celiacs Rejoice: These Halloween Candies Are Gluten-Free
Holidays can be a real drag if you have dietary restrictions, and with Halloween being all about the candy, it can be downright scary. But there's good news for those avoiding gluten: although you'll have to steer clear of homemade mummy-shaped cakes and brownies decorated adorably with spiderwebs, most candy bars and hard candies get the green light - just stay away from Twizzlers, because they surprisingly do contain gluten! Now, we're not saying to go crazy with the candies, but when a majority of "fun size" bars are only 100 calories, a little indulging might be necessary.
First things first. Always read the label on your candy before consuming. Unless labeled "gluten-free," candy may contain traces of gluten, be produced in a facility that also processes products with wheat, or be made on equipment that is shared with products that are not gluten-free. Also note that a product labeled as gluten-free in one country may not be gluten-free where you live. For instance, Smarties in the US are g-free, whereas Smarties in Canada are not. Another reason to read the label? Companies are constantly changing the ingredients they put in products, so always double check just to be sure. When in doubt, you can call the 1-800 number located on the packaging to speak with a customer service representative to find out for sure if it's free of gluten.
Here's a list of popular candy that is currently gluten-free:
Chocolate
- Almond Joy
- Baby Ruth
- Bit-O-Honey
- Butterfinger (original flavor only)
- Charleston Chew
- Goobers
- Heath Bar
- Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar (1.55 oz. only)

The 1 Ab Exercise You Need to Add to Your Routine ASAP (and 5 Tips For Perfecting It)
If the first time you saw an ab rollout was on an infomercial for one of those wheel gadgets, you may have written it off in the same way you should probably write off most exercise infomercials. This is one case where we think you should reconsider.
You'll be hard-pressed to find any other abdominal exercise that so effectively targets the upper and lower rectus abdominis, as well as the internal and external obliques - basically your entire core. It's so effective, in fact, that we recommend warming up with some planks and crunches to prepare the core, and some arm circles if you're prone to rotator cuff pain.
Once you're warmed up, you can pick your poison in terms of equipment. If you don't have an exercise-specific rollout wheel, you can use a barbell instead by simply placing your hands shoulder-distance apart in the center of the bar and letting the weight plates act as the wheels. If the barbell room at your gym is meathead central, you can use a large exercise ball instead, starting with clasped hands on the ball and rolling out until your weight is supported primarily on your elbows (pictured). You can even go the DIY route, placing your fists pinky-side-down on two paper plates or hand towels and sliding them out on a slick, hard floor. Here's our how-to for doing the move itself.
Now that you've got your equipment lined up, here are some tips for getting the most out of your ab rollout:
- Start from a kneeling position, using a pad under your knees for comfort. After you've worked on your form, strength, and volume for a few months, you can attempt to work your way up to performing a rollout from a standing position, but it's an advanced modification that should be reserved for well-trained and healthy trainees.
- Maintain a modified plank position. You might be tempted to bend your hips back into a tabletop back position at the top of the movement, but that disengages the abdominals and diminishes the cumulative effect of your set. Try to keep you knees, hips, and shoulders in one straight line while you move only your arms.
- Squeeze your glutes! Yes, it's an abdominal exercise, but your ab muscles aren't meant to be stretched during the movement. A slight posterior tilt - achieved by squeezing your butt - will prevent this, allowing your core muscles to get stronger while also preventing hyperextension of the spine.
- Start small. The ab rollout is a challenging move and can place unnecessary strain on the shoulders and low back when performed improperly. If you're new to performing this exercise, start with a very small range of motion - as small as just six inches. Give yourself a few days to see how your muscles and joints react, and add a little distance to your ROM if your body gives you the green light.
- Don't forget to breathe. Following the general rule of inhaling during the concentric contraction phase of the exercise and exhaling during the eccentric contraction phase, make sure you inhale through the nose while you role your equipment of choice away from you, and exhale as you bring your arms back underneath your shoulders.
All that's left to do now is put it into action and watch those abs and obliques pop!
The Little Mermaid Live-Action Disney Movie: Here's What We Know
If you're a fan of The Little Mermaid, then your world is about to get a whole lot brighter. Disney is reviving the Hans Christian Andersen tale into a live-action feature, and it already sounds pretty magical. While the production company certainly has a lot of reboots in store, it isn't the only studio remaking the iconic fairy tale. Working Title is teaming up with Universal to put their own spin on the story with Chloë Grace Moretz as the main star. As more information trickles in, check out everything we already know about Disney's remake.
It's a Musical
After writing music for Disney's Moana, Lin-Manuel Miranda will lend his creative genius once more when he teams up with the animated film's original songwriter, Alan Menken. As if that weren't enough to get you excited, Miranda is also set to coproduce the movie alongside Marc Platt, who is currently working on the movie adaptation of Wicked. We can't wait!
Your Next Favorite TV Romantic Comedy Is Here, and It's Weird
New Fall TV shows are on their way in, and if you have the patience to sit through the trailers of all the new offerings, you might be making some mental notes for what you may want to add to your DVR come Fall, but let's be honest - there are a lot of them. That's why you come here! We already have some recommendations for new series we think you'll be into, and now comes another one, courtesy of The CW. The CW revealed its Fall schedule with a handful of freshman series, and one of them, No Tomorrow, stood out to me as the kind of show I'm going to love - and you will too, if you love network hits Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Here are the details.

Who's Starring
Tori Anderson and Joshua Sasse
What It's About
Soft-spoken single girl Evie (Anderson) takes a risk and puts herself out there when she meets a neighbor who may be her new crush - sexy, British Xavier (Sasse). Unfortunately, the red flag waves immediately when Xavier tells Evie he's living his life like there's no tomorrow . . . because he thinks the apocalypse is coming. In eight months.
First Impression
You may have stopped reading when you got to that bit about the apocalypse, but stay with me: do you remember where you where when you heard the premise for Jane the Virgin? That show should not have worked, but thanks to the ultracharming cast and brilliant writing, it did. No Tomorrow shares the same tone (and exec producer Ben Silverman, who was also behind The Office), and wins you over in the trailer just as soon as you hear the world is ending. It's sweet, irreverent, and funny, just like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which have paved the way for more quirky-yet-earnest shows that appeal to women. I'm here for it and you should be too.
When Is It On?
Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW

After Her Son's Tantrum at the Supermarket, This Mom Receives a Sweet Surprise From a Stranger
When your toddler has a tantrum in public, the situation can become really uncomfortable. One mom found herself in this exact scenario while grocery shopping with her two children. Ashley Holmes shared on Facebook that her 3-year-old son "totally lost his marbles" and had a "full-blown meltdown," during their trip, causing customers to whisper and glare at the family. Like many mothers, Ashley wanted to run out of the supermarket, ALDI in Kurri Kurri, but managed to finish shopping.
As she headed to her car, Ashley noticed an ALDI employee approaching her and thought more judgment was about to pass. However, the mom of two revealed that the lady had actually brought her yellow roses from the store and said, "We thought you deserve these." She added, "I hope your day gets better," before giving the mom a hug. Ashley said the simple gesture almost brought her to tears.
If you thought that was the happy ending though, there's more. After Ashley shared the story on Facebook, one of her friends tagged the employee, Shannon Maybury, and the two women reconnected over social media. Shannon said she just wanted to make the mom smile and Ashley thanked her for being so kind. The exchange, which you can read below, is simply too sweet.

Uh-Oh: Hulu Is Pulling the Plug on Free Streaming
Hulu, one of the last streaming services to offer free TV supported by ads, is switching to a subscription service in the coming weeks. Viewers will now have to pay $8 a month to watch Hulu's catalog. The company, which has allowed users to watch videos without paying since its launch in 2007, already offered a subscription service for limited ads. But since streaming has taken off and more people are cutting their cable cords, Hulu faces more competition (ahem, Netflix) so it is abandoning its free service - almost - completely.
Viewers can still access Hulu videos for free through Comcast and, now, Yahoo. Hulu and Yahoo partnered to create Yahoo View, a TV streaming site that will use Hulu's video player to host ad-supported TV shows from most of Hulu's network partners. Yahoo View will essentially function like Hulu's previously free streaming services: you will be able to watch the five most recent episodes from ABC, NBC, and Fox shows eight days after they were originally broadcast. So it's not the end of the world, but you might have to get behind Yahoo View to continue watching your favorite shows without cost.

The 1 Thing That Helped Me Face My Greatest Fear
Heights have always been a problem for me. To put it lightly, they shake me to my core. For that reason, I try to stay as close to the ground as physically possible, whether it be living on the relatively low fifth floor of an apartment building in New York City or choosing to drive irrationally long distances rather than fly. Flying. I get the nervous sweats just thinking about it. I'm perfectly aware of the fact that heights are often a part of life and having such a paralyzing fear of them is disadvantageous in many ways. So in a desperate attempt to face this fear once and for all, I chose to do it in the most playful and nostalgic way: rock climbing.
The last time I had encountered a rock wall was probably in second or third grade when my best friend hosted her birthday party at a kids' gym. After walking through the tall, warehouse-like doors of Brooklyn Boulders, I quickly realized this experience would be nothing similar. I met my belayers, Brandon and Alex, and before I knew it I was strapped in, hooked up to the ropes, and halfway up the first wall. I guess I blacked out for everything in between.
I was surprised by how strategic rock climbing is. Your body needs to make the right movements in order to reach the top, like ensuring that your legs are stable so that your forearm muscles don't strain too quickly.
At first, adrenaline is what kept pushing me farther up the wall. All it took was one glimpse down at the ground to totally sabotage the progress I had made. My palms became clammy and I started to slip. I reached into my chalk bag and then grabbed onto the nearest, most grip-friendly rock. I was back in business.
"No more looking down," I thought, scolding myself. What I needed was a change in perspective. I took my fear and channeled it into determination. I started looking at the wall as a puzzle, and as I kept solving, I reached the top.
I have to admit, if this had been a free climb or if I had been using an autobelayer, I doubt it would have gone as well. I realized on the way down that I had put all of my trust in Brandon, the man on the ground who was making sure I didn't fall from the sky, without hesitation. That in itself was a victory.
By no means am I completely rid of the fear, though. I'm still expecting to get anxious during a flight and I may not trek to the highest building in Manhattan, but I know that I can if I want to. The entire experience was empowering and, in my humble opinion, a great success.
The proof? My forearms weren't even sore the following day.

5 Steps to Packing the Perfect Carry-On Suitcase
Stylist Irma Martinez, who has worked with celebrities like Thalia, Sofia Vergara, Daisy Fuentes, and Eva Longoria, shares her most useful fashion secrets with POPSUGAR Latina.
As a businesswoman, I travel quite often. And with years of experience hopping on and off planes, I've mastered the art of carry-on packing for one main reason: airlines have lost my luggage on more than one occasion, leading me to learn - the hard way, unfortunately - that the last thing I want is to arrive at my destination with nothing to wear, then waste the first few days there fighting with an airline trying to get it back.
After a few of those unpleasant experiences, whether I'm traveling for a meeting, a vacation, or a personal matter, I always travel only with a carry-on. My suitcase will never get lost again, and there's the added benefit of never having to wait by crowded baggage carousels! Don't get me wrong. It's a challenge for sure, but I'm sharing my tips here so you can be an expert packer, too. You won't have to sacrifice style, I promise!
