Your Next Favorite TV Romantic Comedy Is Here, and It's Weird
New Fall TV shows are on their way in, and if you have the patience to sit through the trailers of all the new offerings, you might be making some mental notes for what you may want to add to your DVR come Fall, but let's be honest - there are a lot of them. That's why you come here! We already have some recommendations for new series we think you'll be into, and now comes another one, courtesy of The CW. The CW revealed its Fall schedule with a handful of freshman series, and one of them, No Tomorrow, stood out to me as the kind of show I'm going to love - and you will too, if you love network hits Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Here are the details.

Who's Starring
Tori Anderson and Joshua Sasse
What It's About
Soft-spoken single girl Evie (Anderson) takes a risk and puts herself out there when she meets a neighbor who may be her new crush - sexy, British Xavier (Sasse). Unfortunately, the red flag waves immediately when Xavier tells Evie he's living his life like there's no tomorrow . . . because he thinks the apocalypse is coming. In eight months.
First Impression
You may have stopped reading when you got to that bit about the apocalypse, but stay with me: do you remember where you where when you heard the premise for Jane the Virgin? That show should not have worked, but thanks to the ultracharming cast and brilliant writing, it did. No Tomorrow shares the same tone (and exec producer Ben Silverman, who was also behind The Office), and wins you over in the trailer just as soon as you hear the world is ending. It's sweet, irreverent, and funny, just like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which have paved the way for more quirky-yet-earnest shows that appeal to women. I'm here for it and you should be too.
When Is It On?
Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW
