Carrie Fisher Confirms Your Long-Held Star Wars Fantasies: She Totally Did It With Han Solo IRL

I mean, you always knew it in your Star Wars-loving heart: Princess Leia and Harrison Ford totally hooked up back in the day. Yes, they weren't just love interests on the big screen; according to RadarOnline.com, Carrie Fisher reveals that she and Harrison Ford had an affair in her new book, The Princess Diarist, while they were shooting the first Star Wars movie in the late '70s. The book isn't out yet, so details are still sketchy . . . as is the affair itself, considering Harrison was married with children and in his 30s, while Carrie was 19. To be fair, here is a reminder of how hot Ford was at the time.

There's Another Reason to Tune Into Scream Queens, and It Stars With an H

Last year, we fell in love, and it wasn't with a person. Rather, it was with a show - Scream Queens, to be exact - along with the iconic characters, hilarious dialogue, and, of course, the fashion. It's the costumes that keep us coming back week after week, with furry coats, pink capes, and even earmuffs that totally worth coveting. And since we can't truly live in this land of make-believe and masked murderers? (A blessing in disguise, clearly.) We definitely plan on dressing like it - and adding items inspired by Chanel and her crew to our holiday list.

So whether you're dying to dress like the queen bee - err, C - or know someone who tunes in every Tuesday night, scroll through to see the stylish items that would make any Scream Queens fan happy. With holiday gifts this good, it's practically Chanel-'o-Ween.

Gwen Stefani Thanks Blake Shelton For "Kissing" Her "Back to Life" After 1 Year Together

Gwen Stefani was named icon of the year at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in LA on Monday night. During her acceptance speech, Gwen held back tears as she spoke about her childhood, saying, "I was thinking back and I was thinking about my parents, who loved me the most out of anyone, and they planted a seed within me when I was a little girl, and it was a seed of faith." She also touched on her split from ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, adding, "I was so low that I didn't think there was any way I could pick myself back up," but perhaps the best moment of the night was when she gave boyfriend Blake Shelton a sweet shout-out. "To Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much. I am blown away. I'm blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It's unbelievable to be here tonight. I am really, really grateful," she gushed.

Gwen and Blake have been going strong for a year now, and throughout their time together, they've shared plenty of cute moments together, including their PDA-filled lunch date in LA last month. More recently, rumors have been swirling that she and Blake have set a wedding date, though Blake and Gwen have yet to confirm anything.

How Dwayne Johnson Went From WWE Superstar to Hollywood Heavyweight

Dwayne Johnson first made a splash on WWE in 1996 with his People's Eyebrow and signature Rock Bottom move, and now he's making headlines for his upcoming roles in Jumanji and Disney's Moana. A lot has changed over the years for the wrestler turned actor, who is now father to two beautiful daughters. For starters, The Rock was named the world's highest-paid male actor this year by Forbes, and he recently launched his own production company called Seven Bucks Productions. But despite all the changes, one thing has remained the same: Dwayne's million-dollar smile. Today, we're going back to his roots to see just how far he's come.

Want to Get Better at a Certain Movement? Do This Workout

The following post was originally featured on Fit Bottomed Girls and written by Jenn, who is part of POPSUGAR Select Fitness.

I'm always, always jabbering on about how if you want to get better at the things you're not so great at, then you have to work on them. But how exactly do you do that? With this workout, that's how!

"Death By … " Workout

Affectionately named "Death By …" at The Fit Pit, you basically pick a movement that you want to work on and then do it, until you can't do it any more - following the pattern of doing a rep at the top of every minute (starting with 1 rep at 0:00) and then adding another rep as the top of the minutes tick by. So …

0:00: 1 rep
1:00: 2 reps
2:00: 3 reps
3:00: 4 reps
4:00: 5 reps
And on and on …

Get the gist? (An easy tip to keep track of your rounds/reps: you're always one rep behind the minute count.) It starts out pretty easy because with the lower rep counts you have more time to rest. And then, by about the time you get to 7 minutes or so, it gets a little crazy.

You can basically do any movement you want to get better at, but here are a few suggestions:

  • Burpees
  • Box jumps
  • Push-ups
  • Push presses
  • Pull-ups

I did the workout twice - once with burpees and then once with box jumps because I want to get better and faster at both of them. I'm happy to say I got through 10 rounds of burpees (which adds up to 55 burpees!) and 15 rounds of box jumps (which adds up to 120 total box jumps!). For 25 minutes total of exercise, it was QUITE the workout. Try it!

Watch Bobby Flay Give a Thanksgiving Enthusiast the Surprise of a Lifetime

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a Thanksgiving-loving man in possession of a secret recipe must be in want of a visit from Bobby Flay. So when the Today show worked with Maryland fried-turkey enthusiast Tom McLister's family to coordinate the Thanksgiving surprise of his life, they naturally turned to chef Bobby Flay for help.

Nicknamed "Turkey Tom" thanks to his passion for deep-frying eight unfortunate birds every November, McLister experienced surprise after surprise when Today host Al Roker turned up at his doorstep, then his kids showed up from out-of-state colleges, then Bobby Flay himself strode out of a hiding spot in the McLister family's garage. The five-minute segment is enough to bring a tear to any foodie's eye!

Of course, like any dad dedicated to his Thanksgiving cooking craft, McLister boasts a secret turkey brine recipe that he guards with his life. When Flay asked if he could get in on the secret, though, McLister made an exception! Give the segment a watch, and you'll be even more excited to start your Thanksgiving menu planning.

12 Curly Hair Hacks That Will Completely Change Your Life

Having curly hair brings me such joy. The springy ringlets are indicative of my large personality, but I didn't always know how to care for my coils. About eight years ago, I was clueless about all the unwritten rules (like no more shampoo, brushes, or towels.) And the commandments vary by hair type, too. A woman with waves can't live by the same hacks that I rely on day to day for my Afro-texture hair.

That's why we've called in the curly hair experts from Devachan Salon in NYC to create a beginner's bible to curls. Stylist Eladia Lebron gave three curly editors a makeover, while divulging her best tips for every hair type. This comprehensive guide explains everything from applying conditioner to pineappling (which is an overnight curly girl trick). Get ready to achieve the best hair of your life - no hot tools required.

Rory and Paris Return to Chilton! Check Out All the Pictures From the Gilmore Girls Reboot

We've been poring over every detail about the Gilmore Girls reboot since the Netflix series was announced, and now we've got even more to scrutinize: pictures from the new episodes (which the creators are calling "movies"). Here's a quick rundown on what we can glean so far:

  1. Rory's back at Chilton, talking about Jane Eyre - but is she a teacher or just visiting? I'm betting on just visiting.
  2. Luke and Lorelai are looking happier than ever, and Luke's wardrobe has evolved zero percent.
  3. Rory and Lorelai are trying out for the town musical, which we know is where Sutton Foster comes in - and is that one of Lane and Zach's twin boys with them?
  4. The girls are still maintaining their strict diet of coffee, Pop-Tarts, and takeout.
  5. Luke's diner is still in business.
  6. Jess is back in Stars Hollow, at least to visit to his uncle Luke.
  7. Rory is still tight friends with Lane and Paris.
  8. The show will pay tribute to actor Edward Herrmann as the ladies visit a gravesite.
  9. Emily somehow looks even better with age!

Meghan Markle Is Reportedly "Head Over Heels" For Prince Harry

Hearts shattered around the globe when news broke that Prince Harry was dating Suits actress Meghan Markle in late October, and although the couple has yet to make their first public appearance together, it appears Meghan is falling hard for the young royal. A friend of the star recently told People, that the 35-year-old philanthropist is "head over heels" for Harry, and is "doing everything she can to make the relationship work." "It's been an absolute fairy tale for Meghan," the source added.

While it's rare for Harry, or any member of the British royal family, to discuss their private life, the 32-year-old released a statement earlier this month, urging the press and public to respect the privacy of his girlfriend. In a formal letter, Harry acknowledges the fact there is "significant curiosity about his private life" but stresses that a line has been crossed since news of his relationship with Meghan broke. Over the weekend, it was reported that Meghan made a short trip to London to visit Harry after she was spotted grocery shopping near Kensington Palace.

You Won't Fully Appreciate the Beauty of Adrienne Bailon's Wedding Dress Until You See Its Lace Train

On Nov. 18, Adrienne Bailon married gospel singer Israel Houghton in a glimmering wedding dress complete with a 10-foot French lace train perfect for her Parisian ceremony. While the custom dress couldn't have been more perfect and curve-hugging, Adrienne had actually never tried it on before committing to it!

In a new video for The Real, the talk show host is seen trying on the dress for the first time in the days leading up to her big day. As she sat with co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry, Bailon explained, "I've never tried on this dress before. I've actually never seen the dress before. I wanted something that was original. I wanted something that no other woman has ever worn." While she certainly took a big risk by only trying it on once, that risk paid off.

Look ahead for a look at Adrienne's tearful fitting and more videos from the actual wedding.

Try Not to Weep While Watching Ed Sheeran Serenade a Young, Sick Fan (You'll Fail)

Superstar singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has been keeping a low profile ever since telling fans he'd be taking a break from social media in December 2015, but he happily answered the call of young superfan Melody Driscoll. The 9-year-old, who suffers from Rett Syndrome, has spent 80 percent of her life in the hospital due to her condition. Since she's obsessed with the "Thinking Out Loud" singer, her parents decided to create a Facebook campaign to get Ed's attention, in hopes that he might come meet Melody and cheer her up. Luckily Ed, a veritable master of surprising his fans, delivered. The 25-year-old chart topper visited the children's ward of Epsom Hospital in early November where he joked around with Melody and serenaded her with one of his more emotional songs, "Photograph." According to Melody's parents, she's apparently "still on cloud nine" and "can't stop smiling." Coincidentally, neither can we.

The Heartwarming Reason 1 Custodian Wows Students With Carpet Artwork

A nighttime custodian at Peter Woodbury School in New Hampshire has figured out a way to get kids excited to come to class by surprising students every day with a heartfelt treat. Ron Munsey creates adorable works of art vacuumed into the carpet after he tidies up classes during the evening. Each morning, the kids come in to find unique designs - from Charlie Brown to the White House - waiting for them.

Assistant Principal Dan Mitchell explained that because Munsey's shift is when the kids are gone, they oftentimes miss out on forming connections with the night staff - but Munsey is going out of his way to change that. "It really drives home the point that there are so many people that come in here after you're gone and they work so hard to make a safe, comfortable, and happy place for you to learn," Mitchell told ABC News. "He's an employee of the school but he's a stranger to the kids so to take that extra time with these small gestures really drives home that personal connection."

As a first-grade teacher whose students love coming into class to see what masterpiece awaits them, Angie Wyand sees firsthand the joy that Munsey brings to the children. "He's obviously putting his time and creativity into something you'd think was a simple job but he's taking it to the next level," Wyand told ABC News. "He just goes above and beyond each night."

A major Red Sox fan, Munsey told Inside Edition that he was first inspired to make these carpet designs after noticing the lines mowed into the grass at his favorite baseball stadium. "I call the rugs my miniature Fenway Park," Munsey said.

Munsey spends about five minutes on the daily designs, but his special contribution has a lasting impact on his students' days. "I met a parent yesterday and they actually said thank you. Her daughter talks about it every day when she comes home," Munsey said.

There's no denying it: Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander of The Netherlands are not only the happiest royal couple out there but also the chillest. It's been that way since they first announced their engagement to the public in 2001, after meeting in 1999 at the Seville Spring Fair in Spain. Even their wedding was a laid-back affair in comparison to other royal weddings, with Argentina-born Máxima in a simple but still stunning Valentino gown and smiling wide for the cameras.

Apple Just Released the Product We'd Never Expect From It: A Hardcover Book

Apple's latest announcement truly caught us by surprise. No, it doesn't have anything to do with a new iPhone, a new MacBook, or even a radically new set of headphones. Instead, the tech company announced the release of a hardcover book filled with 450 gorgeous pictures of the brand's products released over two decades.

Titled Designed by Apple in California, the book is dedicated to Steve Jobs and honors products like the original iMac and even those cute knitted iPod cases. "While this is a design book, it is not about the design team, the creative process, or product development," writes Chief Design Officer Jony Ive in the book's foreword. "It is an objective representation of our work that, ironically, describes who we are. It describes how we work, our values, our preoccupations, and our goals. We have always hoped to be defined by what we do rather than by what we say."

Like many other Apple products, the book isn't cheap. A smaller version costs $199, while the larger copy is priced at $299. Starting Nov. 16, the books will be sold online and in select Apple stores in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the UK, and the US. Scroll through for an inside look at Designed by Apple in California.

Alton Brown's Top 6 Food-Themed Films That You Can Binge-Watch

On Nov. 12-13, Alton Brown screened six food-centric films of his choosing at New York City's The Metrograph and introduced his picks in person. On the event page, Alton explains, "Long before I picked up a pan and got in front of the camera, I lived my life behind one, as a cinematographer and a commercial director. So while most folks got their food fix in restaurants, I fed my fascination in a cinema seat. Movies about food and cooking have always fascinated me and I've long dreamt of mounting a 'food on film' series." Though the Food-on-Film event has passed, lucky for all of us Alton fans, all of the movies are available to watch online. Read about Alton's collection below and check out the links to rent / watch the films.

  1. Babette's Feast ($4): "Although Gabriel Axel's 1987 classic is usually cited for its painterly food photography, what gets me is the sense of service and hospitality. Unbeknownst to the isolated Danish sisters who have taken her in, Babette is a famed Parisian chef. When circumstance arise that allow her to prepare a meal for her hosts and friends, Babette serves them with the kind of gracious humility that true chefs embody."
  2. Eat Drink Man Woman ($4) "Ang Lee's family fable about a master chef and his three daughters is the best movie ever made about how food can connect generations. The cooking scenes (rapturously shot by cinematographer Jon Lin) capture the magic and majesty of Taiwanese cuisine but it's the quiet, world weary performance by Sihung Lung as the elder chef that makes this film a must."
  3. Big Night ($4) "Stanley Tucci's labor of love is not about Italian cuisine; it's not about love or brotherhood, tradition or compromise, Louis Prima or the creation of Timpano Maccheroni. Big Night is about getting up in the morning after you've gotten your ass kicked and making breakfast. The final shot is my favorite cooking scene in all of cinema."
  4. Garlic Is as Good as Ten Mothers (free) "Les Blank pretty much created the genre of food documentary with this 1980 love-letter to the stinking rose. Featuring a young Alice Waters, and a host of No-Cal foodies, 10 Mothers is both quaint and quixotic. The scenes filmed at the Gilroy Garlic Festival always remind me of a gustatory Woodstock."
  5. God of Cookery (free) "Before there was Shaolin Soccer or Kung Fu Hustle there was God of Cookery. Although Chow was still developing his manic shooting style, with occasionally rough results, this tale of a pompous celebrity chef's fall and eventual redemption is imaginative and hilarious. A day didn't go by on the set of Iron Chef America that I didn't think about this film."
  6. Cook-Thief-Wife and Her Lover ($3) "Although I've read that Peter Greenaway intended this tale of haute cuisine, sex, violence, revenge and cannibalism as an allegory for Thatcherism, I just dig it for the painterly compositions, the rapturous kitchen scenes (I've never worked in one like that), the crazy as a loon performance by Michael Gambon (Harry Potter fans hold your sorting hats), and the smokin' hot Helen Mirren in Jean-Paul Gaultier."

Andy Cohen Confirms Taylor Swift Still Hates Katy Perry's Guts in His Juicy New Book

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's feud has been raging on since the "Bad Blood" singer's interview with Rolling Stone in 2014, and it doesn't show any signs of stopping. During a recent episode of The Jess Cagle Interview, Andy Cohen sat down with the People magazine director to chat about his new book, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries, which includes a story about an awkward run-in he had with Taylor at this year's Met Gala. The Watch What Happens Live host said he was waiting for a drink when he saw Taylor (who showed up to the event looking like a fierce candy bar) searching the room for a seat with her friend. He decided to interrupt the pair to cheekily point out that there were a few seats left at Katy's table. "I said, 'Your friend Katy is over there,'" he divulged. "She goes, 'Katy who?' I go, 'Katy Perry.'"

Apparently the pop star was none too pleased by the suggestion, and told him that she didn't want him discussing their interaction or her feud with the "Rise" singer on his talk show. She didn't, however, say anything about putting it in a memoir. "Maybe I am a shady ass b*tch that I did put it in the book," he said. "I think the story is about what a douche I am in that instance." He notes that he didn't mean for their conversation to be "shady," but that it probably came off that way regardless. Katy and Taylor have kept their distance from each other since the original drama went down, but have been crossing paths over the last year. In addition to the Met Gala, Katy got dragged into Taylor's breakup with DJ Calvin Harris in July, and they also both showed up to celebrate at Drake's birthday party in October. If Taylor's other public feuds are any indication, it doesn't look like they'll be burying the hatchet anytime soon.

Move Over, Man Buns: Man Braids Are Taking Over Instagram

Jared Leto's man braid at the 2015 Golden Globes may not have been the first of its kind, but it certainly put powerful plaits in the spotlight. Couple the actor's bold hair choice with the convenience (and chicness) of the style, and you get a trend.

While there are multiple kinds of braids, most men seem to be limiting themselves to the classic french plait. Come on, bros! A whole world of braids awaits. This New Rumor Suggests Apple Is Working on Smart Glasses

According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple is reportedly working on augmented reality (AR) glasses - similar to Google Glass. The smart glasses could arrive as early as 2018.

The smart glasses would "connect wirelessly to iPhones" and, like Google Glass, show you information on the lens and possibly incorporate augmented reality. The source tells Bloomberg that Apple has placed an order for "near-eye displays." Another source added that if this testing is successful, the smart glasses could arrive in 2018.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously expressed the company's interest in augmented reality. "We are high on AR for the long run," Cook told analysts in a conference call in July. The company also has several patents for AR and smart glasses that could indicate this is Apple's next big product.

It's not clear if Apple would succeed in the smart glasses space, considering Google Glass received intense criticism and was ultimately shelved in January 2015.

10 Signs Your Child May Have Asperger's Syndrome

Asperger's syndrome is a neurological disorder in the family of autism spectrum disorders. Because every child exhibits a different set of symptoms, there is no precise checklist of behaviors that must all be present for a diagnosis. Instead, there are many behaviors that may be signs of Asperger's syndrome. Here we've rounded up 10 of the common behaviors to watch for, as shared by moms whose kids have the condition.

1. Fixation on One Activity

Many children with Asperger's syndrome are preoccupied with a single or a few interests and focus on them for hours on end. As Circle of Moms member Karen R. shares: "The most common report from every parent I know . . . is that their kid fixated on something (their cars, their blue toys, their books) and played or attended [to] that thing for an outrageously long time."

2. "Little Professor" Speech

"Typically a child with Asperger's sounds like a little professor," shares one Circle of Moms member, Sheila D. "They tend to have advanced verbal skills, but due to the autism aspect of the syndrome they might seem fixated on a topic that they want to talk about all the time." Children with Asperger's syndrome may also speak more formally than usual for their age or prefer talking to adults.

3. Difficulty Reading Social Cues

Social difficulties are another key sign of Asperger's syndrome. Reading body language may be hard, as well as taking turns or holding a conversation. As Eliana F. shares: "Group work at school is also hard for him, as he does not understand waiting his turn or accepting others point of view." Similarly, Colleen notes: "My son is very social, but he doesn't engage in two way conversations. He just talks and talks." As a result of their social difficulties, children with Asperger's syndrome may seem isolated from their peers.

4. Need For Routine

"Structure plays a big part in our lives now," shares Wendy B. Like many children with Asperger's syndrome, Wendy's granddaughter needs routines. "Otherwise it is very confusing for her. So shower is at 8:30 p.m. Bedtime is at 9:30 p.m. Breakfast at 8:30 a.m., lunch at 12, supper at 6. You get the message, very structured. If I want to take her shopping, I start telling her a few days ahead - that way, it doesn't upset her, but we still follow the same routine."

5. Emotional Meltdowns

"My boy tends to have meltdowns when he gets overwhelmed," shares Circle of Moms member Ylice. She's not alone: many children with Asperger's syndrome can't handle routines or plans going awry. Amanda B. describes it as an "inability to control emotions when things are 'out of order.'"

6. Lack of Empathy

Another sign of Asperger's syndrome is a seeming lack of empathy for others. Jennifer B. explains that her daughter "has no clue that people around here have feelings or wants and needs. She's kinda like in her own little bubble as far as that goes. She can be totally aloof, in the clouds."

7. Can't Understand Speech Subtleties

Some people with Asperger's syndrom have a hard time understanding speech tone, pitch, and accent. As Alice D. explains, they may take words very literally and be unable to understand sarcasm or jokes: "He doesn't get jokes and things like that - he can't tell if someone is kidding or if they are being serious."

8. Unusual Body Language

Other signs of Asperger's syndrome include unusual facial expressions or postures, and either staring a lot at others or avoiding eye contact altogether. Dana W. relays of her brother with Asperger's syndrome: "He would never ever look people in the eyes."

9. Delayed Motor Development

From handwriting to riding a bike, poor or delayed motor skills of many kinds could be a sign of Asperger's syndrome. As Kim F. shares of her son, who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in the second grade, "He was not athletic and had poor motor skills. Couldn't skip, gallop etc."

10. Sensory Sensitivities

Many children with Asperger's syndrome have heightened sensory sensitivity. As a result, they can be easily overstimulated by certain sensations, whether it's strong lights, loud noises, or textures. Jennifer B. notes of her daughter: "Even now she doesn't like wearing some fabrics because of the way they feel. There are some sensations that she just does not like! Certain sounds, touches, etc."

If you think your child may have Asperger's syndrome, many readers say that the best path is to get an expert's evaluation as soon as possible. And don't be discouraged! As Sheila D. wisely advises: "It is typical to be scared and nervous, but a diagnosis of Asperger's is not the end of the road for your child. It is a tool that will help you to help your child navigate a very different path than his 'neurotypical' peers. Find a local support group. Get informed, and be the best mom you can be."

What Happens to Rick in The Walking Dead Comics?

We've seen Rick go to some pretty dark places on The Walking Dead, but it's safe to say he's at his lowest point in season seven. He's just watched two of his men be mercilessly beaten to death and now his people are basically enslaved by the murderer. His leadership has failed them and he's just short of catatonic. It's hard to imagine how he'll pull himself - and his people - out of the darkness. Those who have read the comic books already know how the story goes, but there's no guarantee that the show's writers will follow the path laid out. In fact, the series has already veered in a number of ways. Comic Book Rick is quite different than TV Rick, but there's a chance that there will be parallels in their stories. Just in case, here's what happens next for Rick in the books!

Glenn's death is still one of the most heartbreaking moments in the comics, and Rick is deeply affected by it. Maggie blames him for not standing up to Negan, and when the group returns to the Hilltop with Glenn's body, Rick lashes out at Gregory (the Hilltop's leader, who is still alive in the books) for withholding information. Gregory says they didn't even think Negan was real because no one had seen him; they assumed he was a figure the Saviors made up to intimidate them. Maggie ends up staying at the Hilltop with Sophia (also still alive in the books) while Rick promises her that he'll make Negan pay.

Rick submits to Negan's rule, privately telling Andrea (still alive, and also Rick's girlfriend) that they will secretly stock up on resources and wait until the time is right to fight back. The same day, Carl goes missing. Rick panics and sets out to the Saviors' compound, but runs into Negan, returning stowaway Carl. Though Carl is unharmed, the way Negan teases Rick about hurting Carl further fuels Rick's hatred for Negan.

Paul, a character in the comics but not on the show, takes Rick to meet Ezekiel, the leader of the Kingdom. The two form an alliance together with Negan's right-hand man Dwight. Dwight betrays Negan because Negan has taken Dwight's wife as his own and melted his face with an iron for still talking to her. Rick assembles a small army of fighters from Alexandria, Hilltop, and the Kingdom. They lay low until Negan comes for his supplies, then they strike. The initial attack isn't a success, but it sets the stage for a storyline known as "All Out War."

Brutal battles ensue between the Saviors and Rick's crew. Negan's plan to infect Rick's army with virus-laced arrows is a good one, but thanks to Dwight, Rick isn't affected and he survives. Rick wins the war by slitting Negan's throat, but he chooses to keep Negan alive. Rick stops Carl before he can shoot Negan but leaves him to rot in jail.

There's a big two-year time jump after the war, and Rick has rebuilt Alexandria. He's no longer as physically active, since Negan broke his leg during the war. He frequently visits the Hilltop community, where Maggie is the leader. A new enemy emerges: The Whisperers. After the Whisperers' leader, Alpha, decapitates members of Rick's army (including Ezekiel), Rick's people are forced back into battle.

Though he's still the same person, Rick never mentally recovers from Glenn's death and the war with Negan. Eventually Negan escapes and brings him Alpha's head, asking for trust. Rick grants him sanctuary in an outpost, but the two never completely bury the hatchet. He does stay with Andrea through the years, and eventually Carl starts calling her "Mom."

Mom Inspires Her Daughter Every Day With Empowering Lunchtime Napkin Art

Rhode Island mom Meaghan Elderkin has been drawing fun photos on her daughter Holden's lunch napkins since she started preschool, but following the election, she's been sending her daughter a different message during lunch. Meaghan is using her drawing skills to send her 9-year-old daughter uplifting quotes, all from female heroes.

"I felt really small and powerless after the results of the election," she told The Huffington Post. "I wanted to remind my daughter (and myself, I guess) that we're still strong and powerful even when we're afraid. A lot of strong women have come before us, and they've had to fight even scarier obstacles."

Although many parents have struggled with talking to their children about the results of the election, Meaghan is finding peace in empowering her daughter through the napkin drawings. She's included quotes from Susan B. Anthony, Malala Yousafzai, and many more heroes that will definitely have you beaming with female pride (and of course, her latest Hillary Clinton quote is one of the best). It's an incredible way to tell her young daughter about how much women have achieved, and Holden "absolutely loves each one."
