3-Year-Old Scares the Sh*t Out of Her Mom With an Epic Grape Prank
My 3.5yo just came up to me and said she hurt her toe. That's a piece of a grape. She pranked the shit out of me from pics
April Fools' Day may not be for another couple of months, but a 3-year-old decided to celebrate early and got her mom real good. Using just a piece of chewed up purple grape, the toddler covered up her big toe and announced to her mom that she hurt herself. "She pranked the sh*t out of me," her mom said in a post to Reddit featuring a photo of the little one's joke.
Toddlers, take note - this is how to really get your moms and dads good. (Moms and dads: luckily toddlers can't read, amirite?)

Does Dan Stevens Sing in Disney's Live-Action Beauty and the Beast?
Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast is nearly a month away, and we can barely contain our excitement. While the posters, stills, and soundtrack have appropriately pumped us up, we're just excited to see one of our favorite childhood movies come to life on the big screen. The adaptation is straying a little bit from the animated version, but it is staying true to a few things, including the musical aspect. We've already gotten our first listen to Emma Watson's singing voice in the trailer, but what about the Beast? Since Prince Adam doesn't have any songs in the original movie, we can't help but wonder, will Dan Stevens sing in the upcoming adaptation?
Well, the short answer is yes. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the English actor revealed that Alan Menken, who penned the original score, wrote a brand-new song specifically for the Beast. Stevens's wife, Susie Hariet, even helped with his audition since she's a jazz musician and singing teacher. "We're a pretty musical household and it was lovely to have that," he said. "We've never really sung together all that much. It was a really beautiful thing to do."

Lucky Charms Just Gave You Permission to Put Marshmallows on Oatmeal
Take a deep breath, because this news is equal parts exciting and devastating. General Mills has just released a Lucky Charms Instant Oatmeal (crunchy marbits included!) and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Instant Oatmeal. Before you run out to your nearest grocery store, here's the catch: these limited-edition oatmeals are exclusive to Canada. According to our source at General Mills, "The products are now available at most retailers in Canada for about eight weeks. The SRP for both products in Canada is $3.49 [Canadian dollars]."
I think I speak for most Americans everywhere, when I say, we need these instant oatmeals stocked in our grocery stores, too. I'd gladly give up the frosted oat cereal in Lucky Charms for a bowl of piping-hot oatmeal topped with crunchy marbits. And though I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, I dream of the buttery, cinnamony flavors in a warm bowl of oats. I think the only thing we can do is exercise our voice by calling the General Mills Consumer Services line (1-800-248-7310) and politely begging for them to bring these flavors to America! We've requested to try the oatmeals out, so stay tuned for our food review . . .
Valentina Sampaio Makes History as the First Transgender Model on the Cover of Vogue Paris
Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio has just made history as the first transgender model to appear on the cover of Vogue Paris. The March issue is typically the second largest issue of the year for magazines, signifying the gravity of Vogue Paris's cover choice. The headline reads "Transgender Beauty: How They're Shaking up the World."
The magazine, which hits stands Feb. 23, revealed the cover on Instagram with a caption reading:
"This month we are proud to celebrate transgender beauty and how models like Valentina Sampaio, who is posing for her first ever Vogue cover, are changing the face of fashion and deconstructing prejudice."
On the magazine's website, Editor in Chief Emmanuelle Alt spoke about the decision to cast Valentina:
"She is the absolute equal of Gisele, Daria, Edie or Anna. Apart from one small detail: Valentina, the femme fatale, was born a boy. [She] embodies an age-old, arduous struggle to be recognized and not to be perceived as something Other, a gender exile . . . But only when a transgender person poses on the front cover of a fashion magazine and it is no longer necessary to write an editorial on the subject will we know the battle is won."
Head over to Vogue Paris's website to see the rest of Valentina's stunning images.

6 Places You Have Almost Certainly Seen Oscar Nominee Naomie Harris
Now that Naomie Harris has been nominated for an Oscar, it's officially time you become familiar with her long résumé. The British actress was nominated for her role in Moonlight, but she also starred alongside Will Smith in last year's drama Collateral Beauty. In case you missed that one (you're in the majority), there are a ton of other places you've probably seen her. Unless you're a UK native, you probably wouldn't have watched her rise to fame on TV shows like Simon and the Witch, Runaway Bay, and The Tomorrow People, but it's likely you have seen one of the six movies below. Take a look!

Westminster Darling, Rumor the German Shepherd, Could Win It All Tonight
If you didn't tune in to last night's portion of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, you might have missed the raucous cheers for the beautiful German Shepherd that captured the top prize in the Herding group. Her call name is Rumor, and she's favored to also take home best in show at the end of tonight.
At last year's Westminster, Rumor also won the Herding group to advance to the best in show judging, but she fell short of taking home the big trophy, which went to CJ the German Shorthaired Pointer. Tonight she has a chance to stage a valiant comeback, and by the chanting from the crowd at Madison Square Garden last night, her many fans are hoping she does just that.
Rumor, whose full name is Lockenhaus' Rumor Has It V Kenlyn, is a 5-year-old pup hailing from Wisconsin. She has countless championships under her belt and spends nearly all her time with her handler, co-owner, and cobreeder Kent Boyles.
In the history of Westminster, only one other German Shepherd has won best in show. Just maybe, Rumor will win it all tonight and be the second of the breed to take the top honor.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky Look So in Love It Hurts
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are all about sharing sweet snaps of their three children, India, Tristan, and Sasha, but what might be even cuter are the pictures of them as a duo. They went public with their relationship in 2010, got married in December of that year, and since then have had plenty of adorable moments. Chris, who is 33, doesn't shy away from showing PDA with his 40-year-old wife. Start scrolling to see Chris and Elsa's picture-perfect couple pics.
The Obamas' Valentine's Day Messages Will Have You Side-Eyeing Your Significant Other
Happy Valentine's Day to the love of my life and favorite island mate, @BarackObama. #valentines http://pic.twitter.com/n3tEmSAJRT
- Michelle Obama (@MichelleObama) February 14, 2017
Barack and Michelle Obama are currently enjoying their much-deserved time off since leaving the White House last month, and on Tuesday, the couple shared heartfelt Valentine's Day messages to each other via social media. In true ridiculously romantic Obama fashion, Barack wished Michelle a happy holiday when he shared a photo of the couple snuggling during a video taping at the White House in 2015, writing, "Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new." Michelle followed up with a similar sentiment when posting a snap from their recent beach getaway, toes in the sand, calling Barack "the love of my life and favorite island mate."

Michelle and Barack may have left the White House, but they'll live in our hearts forever.

This Girlfriend Hilariously Captures What It's Like to Date a Video-Game-Obsessed Guy
Relationships come with plenty of obstacles no one warns you about - like finding other things to do if your significant other is obsessed with playing video games. Add virtual reality games to the mix and it becomes a whole other struggle since you can't even distract them anymore! Natalie Tran, a YouTube creator, understands the struggle - and hilariously made a video of what it's like to date someone who loves virtual reality too much.
In the video above, Tran plays songs like "Someone Like You" by Adele and "S Club Party" by S Club 7 and performs them for her partner. The guy can't see what's happening since he's playing a virtual reality game and totally misses Tran's epic dance moves. We've all been there, and the video appears to have hit home for a lot of people, as it's going viral on Reddit. Watch the video and try this the next time your significant other is totally ignoring you in favor of playing some games.
Proof You Should Never Go Out to Eat on Valentine's Day (and What to Do Instead)
Scoring a reservation at a buzzy new spot or one of your favorite restaurants may seem like a major Valentine's Day coup, but proceed with caution. Here's a piece of insider knowledge that those in the restaurant industry might hesitate to tell you: Valentine's Day is the worst possible night of the year to dine out. Having dined out on this holiday, I've firsthand witnessed these pitfalls.
The fundamental reason: you won't get a true taste for what the restaurant has to offer. With a high demand for reservations, many restaurants choose to serve a prix-fixe menu in lieu of the establishment's greatest hits. Not because it makes for a better meal, but because a prix-fixe menu reduces cost and complication. The problem: it can be unfamiliar to both the cooks and wait staff, inviting more opportunity for mistakes both in the kitchen and in terms of wine pairings and menu choices.
Contributing to the chaos, tables get shuffled around and squeezed in to accommodate an increased head count. You might end up in a subpar location (near the dishwasher) or seated at a wobbly, rented table, as has happened to me. More significantly, the arrangement alters the flow of service. An increased number of tables means more orders for waiters to manage, which spells trouble even for veteran teams. Add these factors to the pressure of making this night memorable for the moony-eyed couples, and blunders are bound to happen.
I find it much more romantic to stay in and instead treat my boyfriend and myself to a bottle of Champagne (or Barolo) and a simple but special cheese and charcuterie plate, something hands-off that keeps the cleanup to a minimum. (A mountain of dirty dishes can be quite the mood killer.) Typically, we make a Valentine's Day dinner out of baguette, our favorite cheeses, charcuterie, and luxe accoutrements, like membrillo, cornichons, and marcona almonds. Pair with a couple glasses of wine and a sweet treat sourced from a favorite bakery or a choice assortment of chocolates, and you have the makings of an ideal meal to linger over.
Ultimately, the decision to dine out or stay in is up to you and what feels right to where you are in your relationship, but I wholeheartedly suggest choosing an intimate evening in and instead booking a prime reservation on a less-loaded night.
19 Celebrity Mistresses Who Became the Main Squeeze
Love is funny, you know? Sometimes you meet "the one" when you're both single and ready to mingle, and other times . . . not so much. We all know the story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie falling in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith while he was technically still married to Jennifer Aniston, and LeAnn Rimes's relationship with Eddie Cibrian involved infidelity on both sides. In addition to those couples, there are a handful of other stars who happened to meet their current loves while they happened to be taken - and it's a habit that goes back decades.
Nothing You See Today Will Top These Cute Photos of Ricky Martin and His Fiancé Jwan Yosef
We must admit that since Ricky Martin announced his engagement to artist Jwan Yosef on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, we've been a little obsessed with the couple. The two hotties (honestly, that word doesn't even do them justice) are just beautiful together, often sharing photos of their cute moments together on their Instagram feeds.
There was that time they attended Eva Longoria and José Antonio Bastón's wedding together and looked super dapper in their tuxedos. Then, there was that other time, they showed off their abs by the pool . . . and then again while on a hike. Why are we still talking about them, when you can scroll ahead and take a look for yourself? Tell us they shouldn't be crowned the sexiest couple of 2016!
6 Very Important Pictures From Stranger Things Season 2

Hopper and his flashlight are back, Grace is as paranoid-looking as ever, and Jonathan and Natalie may or may not be running from a monster. Take a look!

3 Common Misconceptions About Childhood Stress Explained
When some parents start recognizing behaviors of an anxious child, many struggle to understand the difference between stress and anxiety in both kids and adults. Others get caught believing common misconceptions about how stress impacts kids, and it's these "myths" that prevent both kiddos and their parents from getting the help that they need.
As a psychologist and clinical director of TherapyNest: A Center for Anxiety and Family Therapy, Dr. Aarti Gupta helps break down childhood anxiety for parents, often before their kids have developed the tools to be able to communicate their feelings of stress and pressure. "I conceptualize stress as an external pressure or tension that is exerted on a child. Sources of stress for kids could be parental conflict, moving to a new home, excessive homework, bullying at school, or even a scary book or movie," Gupta explained to POPSUGAR. However, she describes anxiety as the response to that stress, which parents can see materialize in their child as worry, nervousness, or feelings of uncertainty.
During these conversations with parents, Dr. Gupta finds that they frequently bring up three misconceptions, which she needs all parents to recognize and understand as soon as possible. Read through for the common misunderstandings about stress and anxiety in children that moms and dads need to realize just aren't true.
"Anxiety springs from bad parenting."
Although parents often blame themselves or feel judgment from others to do so, they need to understand the real cause of their child's stress. "While a child's environment at home can exacerbate stress and anxiety, it is not the cause of anxiety," Gupta said. "However, parents can certainly play a central role in comforting an anxious child."
"Anxious children are damaged for life."
There's just nothing true about this. Gupta explains that children can lead happy, fulfilling, and satisfying lives if their struggles are recognized and treated in a timely manner. However, she does note that it's true that untreated childhood anxiety becomes more difficult to manage later in life.
"This is just a stage."
The last misconception that Gupta deals with is that children will "outgrow" their anxiety or can manage it with willpower. "Unfortunately, children do not have the skills or life experience to use willpower to manage a debilitating condition like anxiety," she said. "They certainly require the help of their parents, role models, mentors, and possibly even the help of a mental health professional."

7 Things You Never Knew Your Grapefruit Spoon Could Do
When most people think of a grapefruit spoon, their very first thought might be, "What's a grapefruit spoon?" It's certainly not your average kitchen tool, and you won't easily find it in the kitchen aisle at most general department stores alongside the can openers and spatulas. (Indeed, I had to venture to a specialty store to purchase mine.) That's because the grapefruit spoon, as handy and effective as it is in its namesake purpose of scooping out grapefruit flesh, is generally considered a bit of a luxury item that many people might not even think to own. Scooping out a grapefruit with a regular spoon is not an insurmountable task, after all.
However, there's an even better-kept secret about the grapefruit spoon than the spoon itself: it's impressively versatile and multi-purpose. Think about it: grapefruits are hardly the only foods that need scooping. Plus, the serrated edges of the grapefruit spoon make it quite the formidable scraper too. If more people knew of all the different tasks the grapefruit spoon could tackle, it might very well become a household item one day (move over, vegetable peeler).
Here are seven hacks to try with the highly underrated grapefruit spoon.

20 Ways Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events Is Different From the Books
Avid readers generally remain steadfast in their belief that the book is always better than the movie or TV show, but this isn't to say that some adaptations can't be good. In fact, the Harry Potter film series and The Lord of the Rings trilogy are excellent. Even Game of Thrones fans seem to acknowledge the HBO series as a worthy adaptation. One of the reasons fans have doubts is because making a book into a movie or television show usually means that things get lost in translation. Favorite characters disappear, the sequence of events is shifted, and the setting is usually changed to a more cost-effective filming location. Fortunately, Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events is a tried-and-true replica of the books . . . except for these changes. Major spoiler warning!
The Bad Beginning (Episodes one and two)
- The Baudelaire parents are alive . . . or, so we thought. No bodies are recovered in the fire, so we assume that Mother (Colbie Smulders) and Father (Will Arnett) are the children's parents. They escape their kidnappers, fight off a drunken mob and angry refrigerator repairman, and survive a plane crash, all the while hoping to reunite with their children. Towards the end of episode seven, however, viewers learn that they are actually parents to the Quagmire children, not the orphaned Baudelaires. Despite this meaning that the Baudelaire parents most likely did perish in the fire (which is true to the books), the events surrounding the Quagmire parents are unique to the TV series.
- On the show, Mr. Poe introduces Eleanora as his wife. In the books, Eleanora is actually Mr. Poe's sister, and his wife is named Polly.
- On the show, Mr. Poe's secretary Jacqueline is a secret VFD member who tries to keep the children safe from Count Olaf's clutches. However, her character doesn't exist at all in the books.
- Unlike the books, the meaning of VFD and the secret society are hinted at almost immediately. When Lemony Snicket enters into the remains of the burnt Baudelaire mansion, he says, "Neither the official fire department nor the volunteer fire department arrived in time to stop the blaze." The reference was quick, but it was there.
The Reptile Room (Episodes three and four)
- In the TV series, when the Baudelaires arrive at Dr. Montgomery's house, they continue to share a room (though luckily not a bed!), despite each getting their own rooms in the books.
- Excluding the final reveal that Stephano is Count Olaf in disguise, the Baudelaire trio doesn't spend a lot of time in the Reptile Room in the TV series. In the books, each child is given a specific job to do. Violet is responsible for inventing new snake traps, Klaus must read up on the species, and Sunny has to bite rope into manageable sizes.
- When Uncle Monty receives the coded message at the movie theater, it reads: "Hello Monty. Danger! Take the children on the SS Prospero to Peru." In the books, not only does the Sebald code work differently, the message read: "Attention! Hidden in the snowman is a survivor of the fire. Meet us in the town where this film takes place. Bring the three children. Your new assistant is not one of us. Beware!"
- In the TV series, Uncle Monty doesn't plan a trip to Peru until he receives the secret message instructing him to do so. In the books, he had been planning on doing it all along as a fun trip for the family.
- In the books, Uncle Monty confronts Stephano and tears up the tickets so that no one will be able to go to Peru. In the series, the tickets remain intact, and when Stephano gets his hands on them, he plans to kidnap the children and take them away. Even though his plan fails, he boards the ship himself, but is confronted by Jacqueline . . . which is another thing missing from the books.
- In the TV series, Stephano blames the Incredibly Deadly Viper for Uncle Monty's murder and the Baudelaires use Sunny as bait to prove that the snake isn't dangerous at all. In the books, the children use Sunny's relationship with the Viper as a distraction, while Violet snoops for proof that Stephano is Count Olaf. Furthermore, in the TV series, the Viper slithers free, whereas in the books, he's captured along with the other snakes.
The Wide Window (Episodes five and six)
- In both iterations, Aunt Josephine gives all of the Baudelaires gifts when they arrive. However, Klaus receives an electric train in the books, unlike the deck of cards he receives (and later re-gifts to Sunny so that she can play poker) in the series.
- In the books, the children accompany Aunt Josephine to the market and are there when she first encounters Count Olaf disguised as Captain Sham. In the series, the children stay behind and Aunt Josephine later surprises them by bringing Captain Sham home.
- In the books, Captain Sham calls Aunt Josephine on the phone to make their date. Terrified of being electrocuted, Aunt Josephine refuses to answer the phone so Violet does so instead. Realizing it's Count Olaf on the phone, Violet pretends it's the wrong number and that he's reached the Hopalong Dance School by mistake. Aunt Josephine finds Violet's answering the phone to be very brave, which gives her courage to answer herself when Count Olaf calls back. This entire sequence is missing in the TV series.
- In the TV series, a waiter (and secret VFD member) at The Anxious Clown suggests that the children eat peppermints to induce an allergic reaction that will free them of Count Olaf. In the books, eating the peppermints is Violet's idea.
- In the books, the gates to the docks are locked and the keys are in the hands of Count Olaf's henchman, who is standing guard. The children concoct a plan and battle the henchman, barely escaping his grasp. This entire sequence is missing from the series, where the children get onto the docks and steal a sailboat with ease.
- In the TV series, Count Olaf rescues Aunt Josephine and the Baudelaires from their sinking sailboat by letting them board the ferry. When he threatens to throw Aunt Josephine overboard to the leeches, she finally becomes the fierce and formidable woman she once was and stands her ground to protect the children (but is thrown overboard anyway). In the books, Aunt Josephine is much more spineless. She eagerly lets Count Olaf have the children and even vows to change her appearance, switch identities, and leave town forever if he will spare her. He agrees, but then pushes her overboard when she corrects his grammar.
- In the books, after Captain Sham is exposed as Count Olaf, he locks Mr. Poe and the children behind a gate so that he and his henchman can escape. In the series, the children hide in the back of a truck when no one is looking, escaping from both Count Olaf and Mr. Poe.
The Miserable Mill (Episodes seven and eight)
- In the books, Dr. Georgina Orwell is killed when she falls into the buzz saw. Potentially too graphic for television, this is adapted so that she burns in a furnace.
- In the books, Violet and Sunny sneak into Sir's library to read a book that Dr. Orwell donated and discover that secret words are used to hypnotize and control subjects. In the series, all three Baudelaire children learn this when they sneak into Dr. Orwell's office and overhear her discussing secret words with Count Olaf (disguised as Shirley the secretary). Furthermore, Violet and Sunny sneak into the Mill's library to read up on the history of the town fire, not hypnotism.
- At the end of episode eight, Count Olaf and his henchman escape the Mill before Mr. Poe arrives, causing him to disbelieve the children when they tell him of Shirley and Dr. Orwell's evil plan. Even Sir escapes the angry, un-hypnotized mob, and his partner, Charles, leaves the Mill to find him. In the books, Shirley and Foreman Flacutono are locked in the library and the adults (including Sir and Charles, who never flee the Mill) discover the left ankle tattoo, exposing them to be Count Olaf and his henchman in disguise.
The Parents on A Series of Unfortunate Events Are Not Who You Think They Are
Warning: spoilers for the entire season below!
Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events premiered on Friday the 13th (apt, don't you think?) in January, and there's a lot to love. Neil Patrick Harris gives an inspired performance as the show's greasy villain, Count Olaf, and newcomers Malina Weissman and Louis Hynes (who play Violet and Klaus Baudelaire) are a delight. At the end of the first episode, we also get a pleasant surprise in the form of two unexpected guest stars: Will Arnett and Cobie Smulders, who play a mother and a father. Now, it's very easy to assume that these are the Baudelaire parents. Once you get to the end of episode seven, you'll learn that's sadly not the case. Let's recap.
Episode one starts off with the brilliant Baudelaire children being informed that they're orphans now after their mansion burns down, with their doting mother and father - Beatrice and Bertrand - presumably perishing in the blaze. They're sent to live with Count Olaf, a distant relative whose only goal is to get his hands on the Baudelaire family fortune. Not only is he violent, but he forces them to cook and clean for him and his band of cronies and makes the three of them share a dirty, decrepit bedroom. In other words, it's just as unfortunate as the show's title might suggest. At the conclusion of the first episode is a ray of hope for the siblings, however, when it's revealed to the audience that two parents are alive, but in captivity. Oh, and they're "worried about the children." The final scene shows them handcuffed in the back of a van that zooms off into the night.
As the episodes roll on, all signs point to the parents being Bertrand and Beatrice Baudelaire. That is, until we reach episode seven, "The Miserable Mill: Part I." Here, we come to a moment where it seems like the Baudelaire children and their parents will finally reunite . . . but they don't. That's because Arnett and Smulders are not the Baudelaire parents at all. They're actually the parents of the Quagmire triplets. Without giving too much away, the Quagmires are another set of unfortunate children in Lemony Snicket's world. They also lose their parents in a horrible fire and first enter in book five, The Austere Academy. The Baudelaires meet Isadora and Duncan there; Quigley, the third triplet, is thought to have perished in the fire with his parents until a later book.
While an appearance by the Baudelaire parents would be a huge departure from Lemony Snicket's novels, this is still a pretty big addition. It's not exactly a change, per se; after all, the Quagmire parents still seem to be dead by the end of the season. Rather, the real change is that we never actually meet the Quagmire parents in the books at all. That means, if anything, the series has successfully enriched a bit of backstory we never got. The tragic part of this twist, though, is that the Baudelaire parents really do seem to be dead after all.
If you look to the books, it's never technically made clear whether both Baudelaires did, indeed, perish in the fire on that dreary day. One of them is rumored to have survived. Convincing theories seem to point to their mother, Beatrice, but note that she likely died soon afterward, sometime between books two and 12, The Reptile Room and The Penultimate Peril. The cause of her death is supposedly still fire, except instead of the one that destroyed the Baudelaire mansion, it was the blaze at the Duchess of Winnipeg's castle. The children never see either of their parents again, but they do hold out hope for quite some time due to suggestive information in the Snicket File.

Olympian Ibtihaj Muhammad Speaks Out Against Hate and Violence Toward Women Who Sport Their Hijab
While many groups feel scared and nervous to be who they are, Olympian and fashion designer Ibtihaj Muhammad explains why it's important now, more than ever, to be yourself. Ibtihaj made history at the Rio Olympics by being the first Muslim-American woman to sport a hijab during the games. "I realize that the sentiments of fear are very real; it's so palpable in the Muslim community, especially the women who literally wear their religion on their sleeves every day," she said. "At the same time, it's not just the verbal threats that come; it's reaching catastrophic numbers where people are being physically harmed. That has to come to an end. I've gotten messages, so many messages from young girls who have have had their hijabs taken from their heads. We have to acknowledge this is happening and that it is not acceptable."
Ibtihaj also explained the misconceptions surrounding Muslim women who wear their hijab. "The issue with how people perceive hijab, to me, is very in line with the way we view women's bodies. How much they wear, how little shoulder they wear, the things we can say, the things we can't say. Why is it that we're always on the forefront?" she said. "I feel like being on the US team and having this position and this platform, it couldn't have come at a better time, especially in light of this presidential election, because it totally challenges that narrative. It shows people that, no, actually, everything you thought about Muslim women, it's the complete the opposite. All Muslims aren't Arab," she said. She went on to explain that she is an African-American woman, hasn't lived anywhere else, doesn't speak any other languages and was, in fact, born and raised as a "Jersey girl."
The Olympic fencer explained how special it was for her to get to represent the United States at the 2016 Summer Olympics as well. "It's unique to the United States to have such a diverse team. In the past, that is something we have always celebrated as Americans, and I want us to continue to do that," she said.

Burger King Will Offer an Adult Meal Featuring Boudoir Toys on Valentine's Day - Yes, Really
Burger King just turned up the heat on their Valentine's Day offerings with a limited-edition adult meal that includes two burgers, two orders of fries, two beers, and a boudoir toy. The franchise made their surprisingly sexy announcement in the form of a cheeky video shared on YouTube.
You're now probably wondering what type of adult toys are included in the box. If so, we don't blame you. Each time Viola steps on stage to accept her trophies, she always manages to deliver a moving speech we all can be inspired by. In honor of her record-breaking success, we've rounded up some of her best quotes that will make you ugly cry.
- "I believe that the privilege of a lifetime is being who you are, truly being who you are."
- "Do not live someone else's life and someone else's idea of what womanhood is. Womanhood is you. Womanhood is everything that's inside of you."
- "I don't have any time to stay up all night worrying about what someone who doesn't love me has to say about me."

- "I own my story. I own my failures. I'm not interested in being perfect. That's how I deal [with stress]. I don't put on a mask. I think that the effort to put on the mask is probably more detrimental than just being able to step up and admit your vulnerability in front of people who have enough empathy for you."
- "I would love to be remembered as a person who used her life to inspire others in any way, shape or form."

- "All you really need to do is shift people just a tiny bit for change to happen. It doesn't have to be huge and humongous."
- "The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity."
- "Forgive yourself - every minute of the day, every day, that would be number one. You always focus on your mistakes as a mom, and you just have to know that you're doing the best you can with what you know."
- "But the biggest beauty advice I've given my daughter is every morning I say, 'Genesis, what are the two best parts of you?' And she says 'my brain and my heart.' And I say, 'You've gotta remember that, Genesis. You've gotta remember that you're not what you look like,' you know? I think that's the best beauty advice I could give her."

- "Is it just a trend to talk about inclusion (and I'd rather say inclusion than diversity)? Or is it going to be a norm? That we understand that we're all a part of the narrative, that all of our stories deserve to be told?"
- "All dreams are within reach. All you have to do is keep moving towards then."
- "The happily ever after comes after you've done the work."
