Amal Clooney's Floral Pants Aren't All That Fancy When You Zoom In

Fancy-looking they may be, but Amal Clooney's floral palazzo pants are downright comfortable for a Hollywood party. She joined her husband, George, at MPTF's Night Under the Stars wearing a black crop top with trendy cold shoulder details. Her slashed shirt didn't call for a sophisticated pencil skirt or a pair of jeans, though we know Amal's got both of those pieces in her closet. Instead, the stylish lawyer and activist slipped into silk high-waisted trousers by Ossie Clark.

Accessorizing with just delicate drop earrings, her engagement ring, and a cuff, the resulting look was comfortable elegance. It's the type of outfit we'd put on if we were looking forward to hanging home, but convinced to go out instead. Read on to see Amal's pants from all angles, then shop for a pair yourself.

Love It or Lose It? A Trainer Weighs In on Baby Weight

As a certified pre- and postnatal fitness trainer and also a licensed social worker, I know something about physical and mental health. I have witnessed the undeniable link between the two and the dramatic impact the body and the mind can have on one another.

New motherhood, for all the joy and privilege, brings with it a wealth of complex challenges. The body is reeling from nine months of physiological change, while the mind is adjusting to the overwhelming nature of being responsible for a life other than one's own.

This is to say nothing of the external pressure our society places on postpartum women. We are expected to function on little to no sleep for months, to figure out (or feel guilty if we don't) the complexities of breastfeeding, and to somehow lose the baby weight before being discharged from the hospital.

For those clients who come to me for assistance with that last goal, I offer the following perhaps surprising tidbit of advice: Let go of losing the baby weight. Forget about fitting back into your skinnies. Forget if or how you exercised in your pre-motherhood life. Whether you were once a gym rat or believed texting to be a complete workout, new motherhood can provide a rich moment to reframe your ideas about and approach to exercise right now. Doing so can not only enable your physical and mental well-being as a mom but can present an opportunity to model good health for your child as well. So rather than feeling frustrated by wondering when the number on the scale will reach the "target," think about exercise as a tool for better postpartum living. Here are five ways to consider how a little activity can go a long way toward improving more than just your waistline.

  • Save Your Social Life: Many new moms struggle with social isolation after bringing home a baby. Meeting other moms for a walk in the park or a group movement class can provide a chance for adult communication and connection. Conversely, exercise can be a chance for quiet introspection and reflection. Book a sitter and spend some time sweating solo.
  • Sleep More Soundly: Got sleep? Not if you're a new mom you don't. At least, not enough of it. Most new moms are unable to avoid sleep deprivation at least during the first few months postpartum and often beyond that. A study published in the journal Annals of Behavioral Medicine revealed that a home-based, individual aerobic exercise program can reduce fatigue, both physical and mental, in women with postpartum depression.
  • Bolster Your Bones: Most moms are never told that bone density can actually be lost during breastfeeding! Calcium, used to make milk, is extracted from the bones, resulting in a certain amount of bone loss. For most women, bone mass is restored after lactation stops. But this is not the case for all. Both aerobic and strength training exercises may help to reduce the rate of bone loss in women throughout the time period they are nursing, according to a study published in the journal Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise.
  • Help Your Heart Out: Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of women around the world! A 2015 study of postnatal women engaged in an exercise program demonstrated improvements in haemodynamic function (the flow of blood) and a reduction in blood pressure, both of which can reduce the risk of heart disease.
  • Manage Your Mood: With estrogen and progesterone hormone levels taking a nosedive in the days and weeks postpartum, most moms could use a mood boost. The positive correlation between exercise and mood enhancement is well documented. Natural endorphins released during exercise, the ones that make us feel good, are similar to those brain chemicals stimulated by antidepressant medications but without the unpleasant side effects. This makes exercise an incredibly useful intervention at this time, particularly for nursing mothers.

So take a note from the overplayed Frozen anthem: let it go. Forget about losing the baby weight. Concentrate on using exercise to make the overwhelming, sleepless, hormonally challenging days of postpartum life easier. Wondering how to weave a workout into the routine (or lack of one?). Check out a few quick ideas here.

Anne Hathaway Just Shared the First Photo of Her 11-Month-Old Baby Boy

Proud mom Anne Hathaway took to Instagram to share the first glimpse of her baby boy. In the meaningful snapshot, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, who was born 11 months ago, is watching a clip of his powerful mama addressing the United Nations about paid parental leave on International Women's Day. "JRS watching Mommy give her speech at the UN yesterday," Hathaway wrote in the caption of the sweet photo.

Although many new celebrity parents are now opting for low-key social media introductions, for a long time running it seemed People had a monopoly on introductory celebrity baby photos. Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and the Jolie-Pitts all turned to the well-established magazine to show off their newest family members. However, today, many celebs are turning to competitors who are doling out generous offerings to new parents. Others like Kim Kardashian are releasing their own photos - either on their own or through photo agencies - to bypass the whole magazine scenario.

Got a Cold? Treat Symptoms With These 13 Tips

There's tons of information out there on how to prevent a cold, but once you've got one, it feels impossible to treat it, right? While there's no "cure" or fix for a cold, there are things you can do to heal more quickly, alleviate symptoms, and keep your body functioning as best it can. Pick any combination of these 12 tips (or try them all!) to get yourself back to healthy and happy.

  1. Sleep. The best way to heal? Get some rest. Take time off work (please - don't get everyone else sick!) for yourself and others. Cancel plans, sleep as much as possible, and then do the rest of these things to alleviate your symptoms.
  2. Drink tea and soup. Warm liquids can soothe a sore throat and ease congestion.
  3. Use tea tree oil. Dip a Q-tip in some tea tree oil and swab your throat. Just trust us on this one.
  4. And peppermint oil. Did you know peppermint oil can help alleviate headaches and pain? Put a few drops into a diffuser or some boiling water, and inhale the soothing fragrance.
  5. Try a cold pack. Apply a cool pack or one of those gel face masks to your sinuses to soothe pain and reduce inflammation.
  6. Load up on vitamin C. You saw this one coming, didn't you! Vitamin C fortifies your immune system and helps you heal more quickly, so load up on that orange juice! You can try making this immunity shot with an orange juice base.
  7. Hydrate. Speaking of OJ, drink tons of water. You need to stay as hydrated as possible, as colds can often dehydrate your body.
  8. Do a salt gargle. Mix some salt with warm water, gargle (like with mouthwash), and spit it out (please don't drink it). This can kill bacteria (just like the tea tree oil) and ease pain.
  9. Make a DIY throat spray. Using tea and some natural ingredients, you can make your own sore throat reliever.
  10. Get a quick checkup. You don't always need to see a doctor, especially when you have a cold. But when your symptoms feel unbearable and you're worried it might be more than just a bug, your local pharmacy may offer a quick checkup for colds (like CVS's MinuteClinic).
  11. Try a pain reliever. While we're all for natural remedies, even naturopathic doctors recommend NSAIDs like ibuprofen for pain relief (in small amounts).
  12. Take a hot shower. Steam up the bathroom, and take a hot shower to alleviate congestion and soothe aches.
  13. Invest in a neti pot. It may sound odd and look gross, but neti pots work. The holistic health remedy helps flush out mucus in the nose, allowing you to breathe better and ward off bacterial growth, which can lead to further infection.

This Sheet-Pan Hack Will Change the Way You Make Scrambled Eggs

Allow me to introduce you to the latest breakfast hack that's going to make your life easier: sheet-pan eggs. When I first saw these rectangular eggs popping up on Pinterest, I was immediately intrigued; they're like muffin-tin eggs 2.0.

A little skeptical of how the eggs would taste (and how messy the process would be), I hesitantly set out to try the trend for myself. And after testing out the foolproof process, I can attest to its brilliance. Like a combination between scrambled eggs and a frittata, this sheet of eggs can be cut up into squares to meal prep breakfast for the week or to assemble breakfast sandwiches for a crowd. If you're already feeling on board with this unusual cooking method, read on for a breakdown of how to re-create it.

First, preheat your oven to 300°F. A half sheet pan works best, and a full dozen eggs fit perfectly. I tried filling the pan with six eggs at first, only to realize that all 12 would indeed fit. Whisk a dozen eggs with about a teaspoon of salt and a half teaspoon of pepper until smooth and frothy. Using a paper towel or napkin, make sure to grease the pan all over so the eggs don't have a chance to stick. I used ghee, as it's best for high-heat cooking, but you could also use standard cooking spray.

Pour the eggs on the sheet pan, allowing them to spread evenly. I love the combination of eggs and goat cheese, so I topped mine with four ounces of the cheese, dolloping it all over. You could opt for plain eggs or mix in a number of additions like chopped spinach, bell peppers, feta cheese, cooked bacon, cheddar, or chives. Bake the eggs for 15 minutes or until set; you want them to be fully cooked with no runny spots remaining.

Top the eggs with fresh parsley or chives for color and fresh flavor, if desired. From here, you can divvy up the eggs into squares to serve immediately or to store in the fridge for up to a week.

12 Facts You Never Knew About Pet Food

When I first rescued my dog Pancho, I thought I was doing the right thing by feeding him a premium dry food. I had no idea that the kibble I was giving him contained all sorts of, for lack of a better word . . . crap! Since then, I've learned so much more about the right way to feed your dog from my experience as a certified canine nutritionist and cofounder of Ollie. I've seen the real difference that giving Pancho healthier ingredients can make, and want to share some of the tips that I've picked up with fellow pet parents who only want the best for their pups.

  1. Stick to protein-rich, not wheat, diets.
Diets higher in protein and lower in wheat and processed grains (as found in most shelf stable commercial pet foods) will result in more energy for your dog and less GI problems.
  2. Wash your dog's food and water bowl regularly.
People easily forget about the cleanliness of their dog's bowl and how it can affect their pet's health. Most of us would never think about using the same soup or salad bowl for a week straight without washing it but many let their dog's bowl sit on the floor without thinking twice. This allows bacteria to grow and can cause illness from contaminated dishes from a mild upset stomach to vomiting and diarrhea. Make sure to wash your dog's bowl daily with dish soap and rinse thoroughly!
  3. Buy human-grade dog food.
Most dog foods are classified as "Feed" and although the pet food industry is currently a $25B business, we found that some kibble is legally made from 4D meat: meat from dead, dying, diseased and disabled animals. Human-grade ensures not only that the quality of ingredients that go into the food are edible by humans but also ensures food safety standards of the facility it is cooked in.
  4. Beware of meat with accompanying word "meal."
Meat meal, labeled on dog food ingredient lists such as "chicken meal" and "beef meal," is a nicer way of saying it is "rendered" meat. Render plants process animal by-product and can include materials such as grease, blood, feathers, and entire carcasses.
  5. Fresh food is better.
Canned and kibble food go through such extreme processing to make them shelf stable that most of the natural nutrients are sapped. To compensate, a ton of synthetic vitamins and minerals are added back to the diet as well as artificial flavoring so the dog will eat the kibble. Just like humans, dogs feel the difference when they eat meals made from real ingredients. It's easier to absorb nutrients from more gently processed food and thus easier for dogs to utilize them to stay healthy.
  6. Find the perfect portion.
Studies have shown that if you keep your dog at an ideal weight (a 4 or 5 on the body composition score) as opposed to pleasantly plump (a 6 or 7) you can add 20 percent to their life (who doesn't want more time with their dog?!). Most dog food brands give a range based on just your dog's current weight, but not knowing your dog's unique attributes such as how much exercise they get, it can sometimes be up to 50 percent more than your dog should be eating. Consult your vet, or fill out your profile and use Ollie's algorithm, to figure out your dog's unique caloric requirements and keep them healthier for longer.
  7. Steer clear of preservatives.
To extend the shelf life of food allowing it to sit on a store shelf for months, if not years, most commercial pet food brands that go through retailers (as opposed to directly to consumers) are forced to put a bunch of preservatives in their food. While natural preservatives exist, such as rosemary extract, many artificial preservatives can be toxic to dogs if used over a long period of time. We found out that some preservatives used double as pesticides (gross)! They are not permitted in the UK but are still legal in the US to be used in dog foods.
  8. Foods to never feed your dog.
Most people are aware that chocolate is bad for dogs. However, you should also stay clear of onions, grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, and bones! Bones can break and sliver and can puncture your dog's intestinal tract or cause them to choke.
  9. Dogs are not wolves.
Yes, dogs descended from wolves and share around 98 percent of the DNA, but that does not mean they require the same diet, nor do they require a raw diet. There have been no studies showing dogs will be healthier on a raw diet, and there are dangers associated with it for both dogs and humans. Like any raw meats, they can carry pathogens that can cause food poisoning.
  10. Home cooking is harder than you think.
Ensuring your dog is well nourished with human-grade does not just mean feed your dog food that you would eat or leftovers from dinner. Because dogs eat the same thing every meal it is extra important that their food is nutritionally balanced. We hear all the time people cooking ground meat with peas and rice but there can be key elements missing for your dog's health (or too much of some). A balanced diet must meet all of dogs essential vitamin, mineral, and amino acid requirements. It is best to either consult a vet and get a specific recipe to follow or choose a food that meets AAFCO requirements.
  11. Keep your dog hydrated.
Generally speaking, dogs need between a half and a full ounce of water per pound of body weight each day. if your dog is active or lives in hot climate, maybe more. Fresh, natural food also keeps dogs more hydrated.
  12. Let Ollie do the work for you!
Ollie delivers freshly made, vet-formulated meals from real, human-grade ingredients that make dogs' taste buds do backflips. Our refrigerated food is gently cooked in a USDA-regulated kitchen to ensure the highest quality of nutrition and safety. Here's What Happens in Kong: Skull Island's Crazy Postcredits Scene

Major spoilers for Kong: Skull Island below!

Kong: Skull Island swings into theaters on Friday, but when the credits start to roll, make sure you stick around. King Kong might not be a superhero, per sé, but Warner Bros. has nestled a pretty theory-heavy postcredits scene à la Marvel and DC at the conclusion of the film. If it means what we think it does, it could be a total game changer for the budding Kong franchise.

After the credits, a voice-over from Tom Hiddleston's character, tracker James Conrad, plays over a black screen: "Why are you sitting in the darkness? Are you enjoying this?" At first it seems like he's cheekily addressing the eager audience who's been waiting eons for the credits finish scrolling, but then the scene opens on Conrad angrily pounding on a one-way mirror in a nondescript interrogation room, while two mysterious figures (that only the audience can see) observe him from behind it. Joining him in the room is Brie Larson's Mason Weaver, a war photographer who accompanied Conrad on the expedition to Skull Island. They're dressed in the same clothes they were wearing when the cavalry finally arrives and whisks them away from Kong's dangerous island home at the end of the movie, so it's fair to assume that not much time has passed between scenes.

Conrad promises their unknown keepers that they "won't tell the Russians" about what they've seen before Houston Brooks (Corey Hawkins) and San (Tian Jing) - two scientists who were also part of their Skull Island expedition team - walk in. Brooks reveals that they're actually in Project Monarch headquarters (a top-secret government organization that was first introduced in 2014's Godzilla, and is to the "MonsterVerse" what S.H.I.E.L.D. is to superheroes). Once they promise to never reveal what happened to them or their ill-fated comrades on Skull Island, Brooks and San explain that Monarch needs their help. You see, Kong is not "the only King" out there, and they have proof. Throughout their explanation, slides featuring primitive cave drawings of creatures that sure look a lot like Mothra and Rodan appear on screen, as well as images of the nuclear explosions responsible for Godzilla's creation. The last of the images shows Godzilla facing off against a winged hydra (presumably King Ghidorah), neatly setting up the Godzilla sequel starring Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, and Kyle Chandler.

With Godzilla: King of Monsters not due out until 2019, we have quite a while to wait until a rematch of 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla plays out on the big screen.

Essential Oils Can Make You a Happier, Healthier Person - Here's How

If you suffer from anxiety or depression, feel fatigued, or often experience aches and pains, adding essential oils can complement your wellness regimen to improve your symptoms. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, "the therapeutic use of essential oils (also known as volatile oils) from plants (flowers, herbs, or trees)" can be used "for the improvement of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being."

The center also noted that essential oils and aromatherapy are used for cancer treatment, "primarily as supportive care for general well-being," and can be used as a complement to wellness treatments like massage and acupuncture, "as well as with standard treatments for symptom management."

In studies conducted with cancer patients, different oils were used (in conjunction with treatments like massage) to see what outcomes different oils could have on health and wellness. Here are some of their findings:

  • Lavender: improved sleep, reduced depression, reduced blood pressure
  • Chamomile: reduced anxiety (physical and psychological symptoms), and improved quality of life
  • Sweet Orange: reduced nausea

We wanted to know about even more oils and their efficacy beyond cancer, so we looked at a ton of studies to see how some other oils can be beneficial through aromatherapy.

No matter what oil you end up choosing for whatever reason, aromatherapy is an excellent form of self-care, and makes your home or office space smell fantastic.

The Game of Thrones Teaser Lends Some Serious Evidence to This Dragon Theory

Is it possible that Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, and Jon Snow could all end up winning the Iron Throne by the end of Game of Thrones? The night is dark and full of theories . . . and this is definitely one of the most compelling. Based on evidence from both the book series and the HBO show, GOT fans have compiled a pretty convincing argument that Jon, Tyrion, and Dany are the prophesied "Three Heads of the Dragon." And based on the latest teaser for season seven, this theory is even more likely to come true.

If this sounds like a foreign language, don't fret - we've laid the theory out for you below, and it might very well make a believer out of you.

The Theory

During Daenerys's time in the House of the Undying, she has a vision of her brother, Rhaegar, stating that "the dragon has three heads." This three-headed dragon theme is reflected in the series in multiple ways: Daenerys has three dragons (Rhaegal, Drogon, and Viserion), the Targaryen house sigil features a three-headed dragon, and Dany's ancestor Aegon Targaryen conquered Westeros alongside his two sisters (all mounted atop dragons). Fans of the series have interpreted the prophecy in the House of Undying to mean that there must be three riders for Daenerys's three dragons before she can win back the Iron Throne.

Presumably, Daenerys herself is one of these dragon riders - after all, she's already ridden Drogon. The obvious choices for the other two riders are Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister. It's been confirmed that Jon is actually of Targaryen lineage, and even if Tyrion isn't related to Jon and Dany, he has a proven connection with dragons.

The Proof

The similarities between Jon, Daenerys, and Tyrion are striking. Orphans who are cast off by society for one reason or another, each of them has an ill-fated love story that is highlighted in the series. One Tumblr user highlighted these parallels in a beautiful chart.

http://ift.tt/1rSbura

The Parallels Between Tyrion, Jon, and Dany:

  • They each descend from an ancient branch of human lineage.
  • All three are outcasts in some form or another: one a dwarf, one (raised as) a bastard, and one literally exiled from her homeland.
  • They are each the third child in their respective family.
  • Each of their mothers tragically died during childbirth.
  • All are fatherless.
  • Each one has made an unlikely alliance during their rise to power: Tyrion with the mountain clans of the Eyrie, Jon with the Wildlings, and Daenerys with the slaves she's freed.
  • They've all had a tragic love story.

Another solid piece of proof comes from the Game of Thrones season seven teaser, which pointedly focuses on a three-headed dragon while Daenerys discusses her father's failings as a ruler. The teaser opens with Dany speaking and concludes with a quote from Jon, hinting that the unraveling of Westeros in the seventh season starts and ends with the two remaining Targaryens. Perhaps it's because they'll each be riding on their own dragon, battling White Walkers beyond the Wall.

Convincing, right? Now the show merely needs to bring the three dragon-riders together so that they can fly, as a united force, to Westeros and take the Iron Throne. Three heads of the dragon are definitely better than one!

Meryl Streep's Marriage Has Lasted as Long as Her Career

Meryl Streep knows a thing or two about long-term success, and her marriage is no exception. She and sculptor Don Gummer have been married since 1978, and he's been by her side at a number of industry events and award shows in the years since. Meryl may have been mentioned more than God in Oscars acceptance speeches over the last decade, but at the 2012 Academy Awards, it was her husband who received a sweet shout-out. When Meryl won best actress for The Iron Lady, she said, "First I'm going to thank Don because when you thank your husband at the end of the speech they play him out with the music, and I want him to know that everything I value most in our lives you've given me."

The pair first met after her partner John Cazale - of The Godfather and The Deer Hunter - died of bone cancer. She was invited to move into the vacant apartment of her brother's friend Don, who was traveling abroad, and when Don returned, she ended up staying, and they were married within six months. The couple now have four kids together, including one son and Meryl's three look-alike daughters. Look back at the pair's sweet relationship through the years.

What Did That Game of Thrones Teaser Reveal? We Have Some Bad News . . .

Praise the old gods and the new! After a viral Facebook Live reveal that lasted longer than an actual episode, we've finally been given a taste of Game of Thrones season seven . . . and it's already shaping up to be the wildest one yet. No, it's not just because it's been the longest waiting period for a season in the show's history; we analyzed every single symbol in the under-two-minute teaser, and holy sh*t, it spells serious bad news for everyone in the Seven Kingdoms. Let's review, shall we?

"There's only one war that matters. The Great War. And it is here."

The teaser opens with Daenerys discussing her father, The Mad King Aerys, while a three-headed Targaryen dragon ominously revolves on screen. Then, the teaser moves on to other major house sigils made from stone (that also slightly resembles wrought-iron, a là the Iron Throne). While sound clips from bloody betrayals of seasons past play in the background, the sigils from the houses involved in each betrayal are shown attacking one another - Lannister lion taking down Stark direwolf and the like.

After culminating with the Tyrell rose engulfed in deadly green wildfire, the sigils begin to crumble, shattering into broken stone pieces that fall into a strange, spiraled symbol on the snowy ground. This symbol is then revealed to be the center of a massive bright-blue eye. During this time, we hear Jon Snow speak the only new words of the teaser: "There's only one war that matters. The Great War. And it is here."

Significant Moments

  • Opening with the dragon heads: By highlighting three distinct dragon heads while Daenerys speaks about her father's failings as a ruler, the teaser gives more credence to the Three Heads of the Dragon theory. This theory is based on a prophecy which purports that "the dragon has three heads," and has been interpreted by fans as meaning that Daenerys needs a rider for each of her dragons before she can win back the Iron Throne and serve as rightful queen. Many believe that the other dragonriders will be Jon Snow, a Targaryen, and Tyrion Lannister, who has already exhibited his surprising knack for handling Dany's beasts.
  • Every house sigil crumbling like stone: Every house sigil, including the Targaryen one, crumbles in the teaser; no single family crest remains unscathed. This could mean many things, but the most apparent is that house loyalties will fall in the face of a new foe - the White Walkers. The "game of thrones" will seem insignificant in the face of an army of undead, and humanity will be forced to unite or die. Now that Winter is here, there's only one war that matters . . . and in order to stand a chance in it, the major houses of the Seven Kingdoms will need to cease their warring ways.
  • Pieces of the houses falling into the snow: Combined with the Daenerys's visions in the House of the Undying, which included snow falling in the Red Keep, this could mean that the White Walkers prevail in their attack on Westeros and nobody wins the game of thrones. Or, this could simply mean that house loyalties fall to the wayside when Winter comes. Guess we'll have to find out!
  • The symbolic pattern of the broken sigil pieces: The symbol of fragmented sigils resembles the pattern shown when Bran sees the Children of the Forest create the first White Walker during a flashback to the days of the First Men.
  • The vivid blue iris: Remember the Night King, aka the big bad leader of the wights and White Walkers? He's got bright, icy-blue eyes, baby. It's on.
  • Daenerys's quote about major houses as spokes on a wheel: "Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell. They're all just spokes on a wheel," Dany says in the teaser. "This one's on top, then that one's on top, and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break the wheel." Then, the wildfire illuminates a spoke-like outline behind the Tyrell rose before the sigils all begin to crumble. Sounds like "the wheel" Daenerys references will be broken during season seven; whether it's by her or by a massive army of undead icemen, though, is left to be seen.

4 Theories About The Vampire Diaries Finale That Will Either Make You or Destroy You

This post has been updated with new information.

The Vampire Diaries finale is almost here, and we're getting even more anxious about how the series will come to a close. Even though we can finally rest assured that Nina Dobrev will be back, there are still a lot of lingering questions out in the open. Does Bonnie die? Will Elena and Damon finally get their happy end? And what kind of hell will Katherine raise this time? Now that we're down to the final episode, fans have been going crazy on social media posting theories about the finale. If you can't stand the wait or you just don't mind knowing the ending, keep reading for the most compelling theories below.

Elena Wakes Up From the Sleeping Curse

Even though Kai didn't undo the sleeping curse during his three-episode arc, the teasers for the finale do show Elena reuniting with Damon. Does this mean Bonnie finally found a way around the spell now that she has her magic back? Or worse, did Bonnie really die from the Maxwell bell?

Stefan and Elena End Up Together

If you're a Stelena fan, then you better hold onto your seat. After Kevin Williamson posted a picture of Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley on set, some fans were left wondering if there will actually be a Stefan and Elena reunion in the finale. It would definitely explain why the episode is titled "I Was Feeling Epic," after Lexi's famous line to Stefan about Elena.

Stefan Dies

Now that Stefan is human, he is the prime suspect for the main character death in the finale. Not only did Paul Wesley admit to tearing up over his final script, but he also revealed that his final scene is with Dobrev. What if the finale teaser is actually Stefan saying his last goodbye? It would be pretty "epic" to have the series end with the one who started it all.

Caroline and Klaus End Up Together

It's also possible that Caroline will end up with the reformed villain Klaus. Not only did Julie Plec tease a crossover between The Originals and The Vampire Diaries in the finale, but she also confirmed that Klaroline will have a little interaction as well. Matt Davis, who plays Alaric, is making an appearance on the spinoff next season. Perhaps the two will take the twins to New Orleans after Stefan dies.

12 Storylines That Need to Be Wrapped Up Before Game of Thrones Ends

We only have two more seasons left of Game of Thrones (but there is a premiere date!), and they will be shorter than the previous ones. It's a hard enough task for the writers to wrap up all the storylines they're currently juggling, but doing it in approximately 13 episodes seems impossible. So, what exactly do we need conclusions to? Here are 12 endings we hope to see by the end of the show.

10 Bomber Jackets That Will Show Off Your Personality This Spring

Up until a couple of years ago, leather jackets were my go-to for Spring. But recently, I find myself reaching for a bomber jacket (though my beloved leather jackets still make regular appearances). In fact, just the other day, a fellow POPSUGAR editor pointed out my fondness for this lightweight jacket - needless to say, she wasn't far off.

There are a couple of reasons that bomber jackets have been taking the reins from other classic outerwear pieces. For starters, they are perfect for those in-between months when the weather flip-flops on you. They're easy to throw on when it gets chilly and light enough to remove when the weather suddenly becomes warm. You can even accomplish a street style look by throwing one over your shoulders or letting the sleeves slip off (aka the fashion way to wear it). Also, like a leather jacket, these bad boys are an easy way to up your cool factor on even the simplest of outfits.

Now that we've covered the reasons you need one in your closet, here's what you should be looking for when buying one. As with any trend, it's important to stand out from the hundreds of other people wearing bombers, and that's where finding a unique bomber comes into play. From a space-inspired Gucci bomber to a bright red one with "Sweet Thing" printed on the back, here are 10 of the coolest bomber jackets that will help you show off your personality this Spring.

Hack to Steal: 8-Minute Poached Chicken in an Instant Pot

There's so much to love about the Instant Pot, including this quick hack for poaching chicken in less than 10 minutes. Poaching chicken over the stovetop usually takes around 20-30 minutes, so this is a significant time slasher.

Here's the method:

  1. Fill the Instant Pot a little less than 2/3 full with boneless, skinless chicken. Cover with chicken broth. Add a few cloves of garlic, a few bay leaves, or a sprig of thyme (optional). Do not allow the liquid to exceed the 2/3-full mark. Close the lid as the manual instructs, making sure the pressure release handle is secured in the sealed position.
  2. Press the [Manual] button and use the [+] or [-] buttons to choose 8 minutes of cook time. Once the Instant Pot has finished the cook time, unplug it. Use the "Quick Release" method of opening the cooker by carefully turning the pressure release handle to the "venting" position to let out steam until the float valve drops down. Carefully open the lid.
  3. Remove chicken breasts and place on a cutting board. Shred using two forks or in a stand-up mixer with the paddle attachment.
  4. Return the chicken to the broth and use as a soup base or keep chicken and broth separated, reserving them for other uses.

One you've tried this quick cooking method, you may be inspired to try out these other Instant Pot recipes including our chicken soup with 40 cloves of garlic. Have you tried cooking with the Instant Pot? Share your hacks and cooking tips with us!

Deadpool 2 Just Cast a Major Character

While we've already gotten a teaser for Deadpool's sequel, it seems new casting is still underway! We're still waiting to hear who will play Cable, Deadpool's partner in crime (Russell Crowe wants in), but in the meantime, a female superhero has joined the team. While we're compiling all the details, take a look at the actors who are confirmed to appear in the second film!

Now That He'll Be a Dad of 2, Here Are Mark Zuckerberg's Best Parenting Moments

After welcoming his daughter publicly to the world - with a Facebook post, of course - Mark Zuckerberg stole our hearts with more and more supersweet snapshots of baby Max. His latest post now has hearts exploding not only because he announced that he and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are expecting a second child, but also because of his explanation for why he's thrilled that the baby is another girl.

"After our difficult experience having Max, we weren't sure what to expect or whether we'd be able to have another child. When Priscilla and I first found out she was pregnant again, our first hope was that the child would be healthy. My next hope was that it would be a girl," Mark wrote. "I cannot think of a greater gift than having a sister and I'm so happy Max and our new child will have each other."

The Facebook CEO has been open about major milestones in his family's life by sharing multiple daddy-daughter moments on social media since Max's Dec. 1, 2015 birth. In addition to using the platform to reveal that they'd be giving away 99 percent of their Facebook shares in Max's honor, Mark was also open about the three miscarriages that his wife suffered before conceiving Max as well as his plan to take two months off of work following her birth. "Studies show that when working parents take time to be with their newborns, outcomes are better for the children and families," Zuckerberg shared on Facebook.

Because of all the time he's spent devoted to little Max, we've reaped the benefits - in the form of insanely adorable photos. We can't get enough of how sweet some of the photos he's posted over the last year are, from one of him holding her in a simple swaddle to precious time at the doctor's office before getting her first round of vaccinations. Good thing Zuckerberg's Facebook profile isn't set on private so we can continue "liking" all of their precious moments!

7 Shows to Watch If You Loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Friday marks 20 years since Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered on the air, but the show left a lasting legacy, the ripples of which can still be seen in today's TV landscape. Buffy always packed some serious punches (physically and metaphorically). She's flawed, witty, beautiful, strong, and a total mess. The Scooby Gang was the original #squadgoals and the complicated love stories between the Slayer and some gorgeous vampires were truly next level. The show redefined what it meant to have not only a strong female lead, but to have an arsenal of complicated and three-dimensional female characters too. Buffy's fantasy elements were always metaphors for real problems, such as addiction, depression, and soul-crushing responsibility. Every episode was a multilayered depiction of real life in a dramatized way that viewers were completely sucked into. It's no wonder that almost 20 years after its premiere, Buffy Summers still manages to be a comparative beacon in television. If you're still head over heels for the show, here are a few current TV series you're guaranteed to be into.

Nutrition Showdown: Should You Eat Kale or Spinach?

Kale. So hot, right? Wait . . . is kale still cool? Is it still the food that everyone's obsessed with? It kind of seems like it. But is it warranted?

In some ways, absolutely. It's nutritionally dense, and when prepared correctly (note to salad shops: MASSAGE your damn kale!), it can be delicious. But sometimes it's just a mouthful and, honestly, pretty hard on your jaw. Have you ever eaten a kale salad and felt like you were chewing for 87 years? Us too.

Let's look at a green that is much easier on the jaw muscles and often a bit kinder on the palate: spinach. Just as nutritious, just as juice-able, just as versatile. Is a kale salad inherently healthier than a spinach salad? What about a kale smoothie versus a spinach smoothie? Short answer: no. Long answer: "healthier" is relative.

They're nutritional equals, roughly speaking. Where one lacks, the other makes up, and vice versa, but the differences are somewhat negligible, especially in smaller servings and quantities.

While spinach has less than half the calories of kale, they're identically equal in protein, fiber, carbs, and fat content, as well as vitamin B6. They've got nearly the exact same amount of calcium, manganese, iron, and potassium.

Here's where they differ: spinach has more folate and magnesium, and kale has more vitamin A, C, and K (but both spinach and kale give you more than 100 percent of your vitamin K).

So, generally speaking, unless you're really concerned with getting extra vitamin K, or really need more vitamin C and can't see another way to get it (word to the wise: there are many other sources), then it's OK to pass on kale. Toss some spinach in your smoothie, and skip the bunch of kale at Whole Foods that we know you're begrudgingly buying based on hype anyway.

And remember: you don't need kale to be healthy. You're an independent woman who don't need no kale.

Why Game of Thrones Season 7 Will Be All About Jon Snow and Daenerys

If you're still upset about that melting-ice-block disaster and very delayed premiere date, we have some comfort to offer. While it's true that we have months to go until season seven, there's plenty of information out there to give us a sense of what's to come. After collecting data and perusing some wild theories, it seems pretty clear that season seven will heavily focus on two main characters: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen. How do we know? Let's cover all the hints we've noticed in the past year.

1. They're Finally Going to Meet in Person

Thanks to some exhilarating set pictures that hit the web at the end of last year, we found out some pretty huge season seven news: Jon Snow and Daenerys will finally meet in person. We don't know the circumstances of this moment, but both Tyrion Lannister and Ser Davos are there. This could be one of the biggest arcs of the season. Will the two team up to take down the Lannisters? Will Dany help fight the White Walkers?!

2. The New Poster Hints at A Song of Ice and Fire

In March we finally laid eyes on the first official poster for season seven. It's pretty simple, just a sheet of ice with flames layered on top. If you're familiar with the classic A Song of Ice and Fire theory, though, you'll know it carries a pretty heavy significance. The fact that the very first poster hints at this union means it will factor heavily into season seven.

3. Jon Is Likely About to Find Out He's a Targaryen

Jon Snow knows nothing (heh heh) about his parents by the end of season six, but that's definitely about to change. After all, Bran learns that Jon's mother is Lyanna Stark through one of his time-travel visions, and there are plenty of theories for how Jon could learn the truth. Once Jon learns he's the son of Rhaegar Targaryen, it'll make him that much more connected to Daenerys and all the more likely to seek her out. And with Daenerys aiming to take the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister, this could get pretty crazy.

4. They Both Are About to Be Major Leaders

Speaking of Dany's bid for the Iron Throne, here's another reason Jon and the Mother of Dragons will be a big part of season seven. It's clear, at this point, that Dany is already a powerful ruler. Even without her seizure of King's Landing, she has clear power over the Dothraki Army, the Unsullied, Meereen, and the Iron Islands (granted, it's just an alliance with the Greyjoys, but still). Oh, and she has dragons. Jon Snow, on the other hand, has earned his keep as King of the North. These two are arguably the most formidable rulers in Westeros. That's a big deal.

5. Other Miscellaneous Hints From the Cast

Here's how we know sh*t is really hitting the fan because of Dany: cocreator D.B. Weiss confirmed it in a recent interview. "Once she gets on those ships and crosses West, that's when the clock on the end game starts ticking," Weiss told Entertainment Weekly. "When she gets back to Westeros, it's on. Her return is the first domino."

Good thing we've all got time to prepare ourselves; Game of Thrones will return on July 16.

If You've Ever Been Affected by Addiction, Linkin Park's New Video May Hit Too Close to Home

Linkin Park is getting personal with their latest song, a ballad about drug addiction called "Heavy." The group's frontman, Chester Bennington, has been very open about his lifelong struggle with drugs and alcohol, writing about it in songs like "My Suffering" and "Crawling." This latest video, a collaboration with singer Kiiara, seems like the most personal yet.

This is unrelated, but maybe it's a good time to remind you that Prince William loves Linkin Park. Just putting that out there.
