What?! Jennifer Lopez's Met Gala Dress Doesn't Show an Inch of Skin
We were fully prepared for Jennifer Lopez to show up at the 2017 Met Gala in New York City wearing a dress like the ones she's worn in the past: revealing, tight, risqué, sexy. Instead, what we got was a light blue Valentino dress that didn't show one. single. bit of skin.
Don't get us wrong, the powdery gown was gorgeous, featuring a sheer tulle overlay, turtleneck, and long train. It was so totally Old Hollywood and completely unexpected. But that's J Lo for you - she'll never cease to amaze us with her fashion choices. Scroll ahead for a closer look at her gown.
Katy Perry Went to the Met Gala Looking Like Melisandre From Game of Thrones
Since Katy Perry was announced as a cochair of the 2017 Met Gala, we had the highest expectations for her outfit on fashion's biggest night. She instantly had heads turning, fully embracing the Rei Kawakubo theme, wearing a custom Maison Margiela Artisanal ensemble designed by John Galliano.
Katy wore a red embroidered wool coat around her tulle and silk chiffon dress, which was covered in shining embellishments, and her Melisandre-like look turned the red carpet into a scene from Game of Thrones. The layers of chiffon continued from her head to her train, and her "Witness" headpiece spoke loudly to the whole look. Keep reading to see photos of Katy at the 2017 Met Gala.
Is Walt Disney World Adding a 4th Mountain Attraction to the Magic Kingdom?
What's better than three mountain-themed attractions at Walt Disney World? Four mountain-themed attractions, obviously. Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain are already Magic Kingdom favorites, but another attraction may be on its way - and the concept for it is actually pretty old. In the early 2000s, rumors flew that an attraction called Fire Mountain would be potentially making its way to the park, but the idea for the indoor flying roller coaster never became a reality.
Fast-forward to the present, where Disney is fresh off the heels of Moana's success. What better way to revisit an idea for a volcano mountain attraction than by incorporating elements from the newest film into the ride? The mountain ride would theoretically be built in the Adventureland section of the Magic Kingdom, but there are no confirmed reports . . . yet. Still, we can all dream about a fire-filled flying roller coaster featuring our newest favorite Disney princess, right? Check back for any future developments!

Look Fast and You Might Miss the Intricate Details on Gisele Bündchen's Met Gala Dress
It's safe to say all eyes were on Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady at this year's Met Gala. The power couple served as the glamorous evening's cochairs, so naturally expectations were high for how they'd be dressing for the occasion. And boy, did they deliver!
As soon as the duo stepped on the red carpet, we couldn't help but focus on Gisele's dress (although Tom did look rather dapper, as per usual). From far away, it looks like a rather muted choice considering the avant-garde theme of the evening, but a quick zoom reveals some highly intricate detailing. A gorgeous pewter Stella McCartney number, the long-sleeved gown featured all-over glass-bead embroidery, not to mention those killer cutouts that showed a little a lot of back. Paired with a marble-print box clutch, Gisele looked as glam as can be for the evening.
Ahead, see her picture-perfect look from every single angle.

Every Question You've Ever Had About the Met Gala, Answered in an Instant
We don't expect you to know that Vogue editor Anna Wintour has been cochairing the Met Gala since 1999, but you should absolutely know she's the woman behind the annual event, which always falls on the first Monday in May. And you don't need to know exactly how much money the ball raises for the Met's Costume Institute, but you should be aware that - behind all the glitz and glamour on the red carpet - there's a curated exhibit for attendees (and eventually you) to enjoy.
Just days after Hollywood's elite swarm the museum in New York, the doors are open to the public. This year, everyone will enjoy a tribute to Comme des Garcons womenswear designer Rei Kawakubo, who is "one of the most important and influential designers of the past forty years," according to chief curator Andrew Bolton. What goes into planning not only the display but also the most anticipated, exclusive night in fashion? Anna Wintour handles the seating charts and taps a couple of celebrity performers to entertain, but we're sure you have more questions than that, now don't you?

It's the first time the supermodel and Super Bowl winner have attended the gala since 2014. Look through to see Tom and Gisele's best photos from the night!

The Great Blue Hole in Belize Is an Unbelievable Natural Wonder Visible From Space
The "Great Blue Hole" couldn't be a more fitting name for the underwater sinkhole off the coast of Belize. The circular site, which can be viewed from space, has become a bucket-list destination for travelers and scuba divers alike. At 984 feet wide and 410 feet deep, the dark blue hole is located at the center of an atoll called Lighthouse Reef. Though the sinkhole appears to continue down an infinite depth, an island of coral that outlines the circle rests in much shallower turquoise Caribbean waters. Parts of the ring are even exposed during low tides, showing the contrast in water levels.
The massive hole wasn't always submerged underwater. During the Earth's glacial period when the sea level was much lower, the Great Blue Hole originally formed as a limestone cave. But as the ocean began to rise, the cave flooded and eventually collapsed, becoming the popular dive site it is today. The former cave's calcium salt deposits, which look like yellow icicles, are still preserved and can be seen on one's swim.
It wasn't until 1971 when Jacques Cousteau explored the site and confirmed its origins that the site became world-famous. Supposedly, the deeper you dive, the clearer the water becomes and the more complex geological formations appear. It's also believed that the Great Blue Hole is the largest of its kind.
See the breathtaking photos ahead!

Nancy Pelosi: "I Never Thought I'd Pray For the Day" Bush Was President
.@NancyPelosi to @jonkarl: "I never thought I'd pray for the day" when George W. Bush was president again https://t.co/F3g5VI54Ob #ThisWeek http://pic.twitter.com/0jjtChRh3w
- This Week (@ThisWeekABC) April 30, 2017
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had a slip of the tongue when she accidentally referred to President Donald Trump as former President George W. Bush during an interview on ABC's The Week. Pelosi sat down with Jonathan Karl to discuss President Trump's first 100 days in office and how the Democratic party could work with him, but it wasn't until she mixed the names up that the interview really escalated.
"Winning means winning for the American people, that either we win or whoever wins understands the priorities of the American people," she said. "And they are not with President Bush." Um. . .
"Excuse me!" she said, after catching her mistake. "I'm so sorry, President Bush. I never thought I'd pray for the day that you were president again."
Liberals could not stand President Bush - and he frequently pops up on lists of our nation's worst-ever presidents - but Pelosi seems to be saying that even Bush's most dismal approval ratings are nothing compared to the way President Trump is viewed by the Democratic leaders and left-leaning citizens.
This isn't the first time that liberals have spoken out about the ironic comparison between Trump and Bush. During Samantha Bee's Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Will Ferrell brought back his notorious George W. Bush impression to laugh about the times when he "was considered the worst president of all time."
"I needed eight years, a catastrophic flood, a war built on a lie, and an economic disaster," Ferrell said as Bush. "The new guy only needed 100 days. He is widely considered the worst president of all time. I came in second. I'm fine with that. No one remembers second place."

Blake Lively's Met Gala Dress Is SO Much Different Than Last Year's
Just hours before arriving at the Met Gala, Blake Lively dropped a subtle hint about her ensemble for the evening, and it seems like this year's look is so not what we're expecting from the actress. Last year, she waltzed the red carpet looking like a Spring goddess in a stunning light-pink Burberry dress with floral embellishments. But according to the teaser she just posted on Instagram, she'll be going a different route this time around.
In the throwback photo, Blake dons an outfit with a high neck, three-quarter-length sleeves, and supershort hemline, which is a complete 180 from her 2016 outfit. Be sure to check back later in the night to see what Blake ends up wearing!
The USPS Is Releasing These Insanely Cool Stamps You'll Actually Want to Collect
Get yourself a pen pal because you're going to want to snatch up these collectible stamps from the US Postal Service. The USPS is releasing a commemorative stamp that changes into the upcoming solar eclipse on Aug. 21 simply by pressing your finger on it.
The stamp, which will be released on June 20, uses thermochromic ink to change the image of the solar eclipse into the moon. Both the photo of the moon and the solar eclipse was taken by astrophysicist Fred Espenak, from a previous solar eclipse seen on March 29, 2006 from Jalu, Libya.
If you want to save the stamp as part of a collection, the USPS will also sell a special envelope to hold it. Using the stamps for normal mail? You don't need the envelope, but you should keep the stamp out of direct sunlight, advises the USPS.
6 Things You Can't Miss at Tokyo Disneyland!
For Disney fans, visiting Tokyo Disney is a no-brainer. In addition to the attractions we know and love from Disneyland and Disney World, there are so many uniquely wonderful things about the Japanese parks, from the creative and delicious food to the stunning Disney hotels. And, of course, they also have their own twists on classic rides and attractions only available to them.
There are two parks that make up Tokyo Disney - Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea - and while this isn't the perfect comparison, Tokyo DisneySea is like Disney California Adventure while Tokyo Disneyland is more like Disneyland or Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Here, I'm going to share the six things I loved best about the Tokyo Disneyland park (not DisneySea). They are like nothing you'll see in the States!

Abdullah Yar Khan is 16 years old, six foot, 200 pounds. He doesn't speak, he's not toilet trained and is getting increasingly aggressive. 20 Fyre Festival Tweets You'll Feel Bad For Laughing At
The ill-fated Fyre Festival might go down in history as one of music's biggest fails: what was originally billed as a "once-in-a-lifetime musical experience" quickly became a complete disaster. The festival, held on the small island of Exuma in the Bahamas, was the brainchild of rapper Ja Rule and entrepreneur Billy McFarland (who have since issued public apologies and are reportedly facing a $100 million lawsuit). Within minutes of arriving on the island on Friday, fans - who had paid between $4,000 and $20,000 for the weekend - realized they had been hoodwinked, and the jokes pretty much wrote themselves. Here are 20 social media reactions to Fyre Festival that you'll feel kind of bad for laughing at.

21 Times Tumblr Understood Your 13 Reasons Why Obsession Better Than Anyone Else

Despite the fact 13 Reasons Why deals with some heavy subjects and extremely difficult scenes, the show has managed to inspire more than a few hilarious memes (as well as one particularly troubling one). Tumblr is practically a treasure trove of rallying cries for Jeff Atkins (HE DESERVED BETTER, OK?) and a safe space for anyone to side-eye Courtney Crimsen. Check out the best reactions below.

Flip or Flop's Tarek and Christina El Moussa Hit the Red Carpet Together After Split
While some celebrity couples can get downright nasty after splitting up, Tarek and Christina El Moussa are definitely not one of them. The stars of HGTV's Flip or Flop, who called it quits in late 2016 after seven years of marriage, were all smiles when they attended the Daytime Emmys together on Sunday. Christina, who recently showed off her amazing bikini body during a getaway to Hawaii in April, happily posed for photos with her ex on the red carpet at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California.
Despite their split, Tarek and Christina, who share daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 20 months, continue to work together. "We'll be together for the rest of our lives because we have kids," Tarek told Us Weekly in March. "We need to get along for the kids and for our sanity." Christina also told ET in March that they are "actually getting along really, really well right now" and "letting go of past resentment, living in the future and remembering that kids are the priority." Their hit show was also recently picked up for an eighth season.
Justin Timberlake Has Incited a Joyous Riot With 4 Words
Justin Timberlake is well aware of the "It's Gonna Be May" meme, and he, too, thinks it's hilarious. He embraced it last year by tweeting about it and belting out the iconic lyrics for a game, and this year, he gave the most subtle wink via Facebook. "Hey guys... it's May," he wrote. It's so simple yet so funny. Justin Timberlake is just living his life, knowing every May 1 we're all sitting around hoping to hear from him. (OK, maybe you're not sitting around waiting, but I am.)
As one Facebook commenter wrote, "If you don't get why he's saying this....you don't deserve a Facebook account."

3 Limited-Edition Hershey's Candies You Need to Try - and 4 You Should Skip
Hershey's released a lineup of new candy called the Flavors of America collection, and let's just say some states will feel more of a sense of pride than others. While each candy certainly sounded promising, we can confirm not all of them are worth the hype after tasting them all for ourselves. That's not to say that you should skip the entire collection when you spot it in stores, though. A few of the limited-edition state-themed candies are definitely worth trying out in favor the the traditional flavors you've had many times. Ahead, see how each of the seven candies really tastes and which ones you'll want to pick up while you have the chance this Summer.

7 Times Trump Proved He Knows Nothing About History
During an interview with SiriusXM, President Donald Trump demonstrated, once again, that he lacks a basic understanding of American history by suggesting former President Andrew Jackson could've stopped the Civil War had he been the president at the time.
"I mean, had Andrew Jackson been a little later, you wouldn't have had the Civil War. He was a very tough person, but he had a big heart," Trump claimed. "And he was really angry that . . . he saw what was happening with regard to the Civil War. He said, 'There's no reason for this.'"
Trump followed with another bizarre assertion. "People don't realize, you know, the Civil War - if you think about it, why," Trump wondered. "People don't ask that question, but why was there the Civil War? Why could that one not have been worked out?"
There's only one problem with Trump's postulation: Jackson died a decade before the Civil War started, so he couldn't have had an opinion on the crisis. Perhaps even less shocking than Trump's erroneous contention about Jackson is Trump's constant and consistent misunderstanding of history. Prepare to shake your head at six other times Trump proved he knows very little about the country he is supposed to run, nor much about countries he is supposed to liaise with.
1. When he seemed to think Frederick Douglass was alive.
During Trump's speech honoring Black History Month on Feb. 1, he suggested that the abolitionist was still alive. Trump described Douglass as "someone who has done a terrific job that is being recognized by more and more people." His comments were ridiculed across social media.
2. When he appeared to forget that Richard Nixon resigned because he broke the law.
In an interview on April 2 with The Washington Post's Bob Woodward, who broke the Watergate story that lead to Nixon's impeachment, Trump implied that Nixon failed because of his personality. Woodward asked Trump why he thought Lincoln succeeded and Nixon didn't. Trump blamed Nixon's temperament.
"Nixon failed, I think to a certain extent, because of his personality," Trump told Woodward. "It was just that personality. Very severe, very exclusive. In other words, people couldn't come in. And people didn't like him. I mean, people didn't like him."
Given that Woodward published the story which lead to Nixon's resignation, Trump's error is fairly astounding - and Woodward had to remind Trump that Nixon was a criminal. "And he broke the law," Woodward added.
Trump's response is hesitant, but he acknowledged Nixon's crimes. "And he broke the law, yeah. Yeah. He broke the law. Whether that's insecurity . . ." said Trump.
3. When he didn't realize that the Republican party used to be called "The Party of Lincoln."
At a rally in Louisville, KY, on March 20, Trump apparently did not realize the Republican party is often referred to as Lincoln's party. "Great president. Most people don't even know he was a Republican," Trump said. "Does anyone know? Lot of people don't know that."
4. When he confused North Korean leader Kim Jong Un with his grandfather, Kim Jong Il.
While being interviewed on Fox & Friends about North Korean aggression on April 18, Trump conflated current leader Kim Jong Un with his predecessor and grandfather Kim Jong Il.
"They've been talking with this gentleman for a long time," Trump said of America's dialogue with North Korea. "You read Clinton's book, he said, 'Oh, we made such a great peace deal,' and it was a joke." Later, Trump continued to assert his misunderstanding. "Everybody has been outplayed, they've all been outplayed by this gentleman, and we'll see what happens," Trump added with reference to Obama's negotiations.
Trump was evidently unaware that Kim Jong Un has only been in power since 2011 - after the death of his grandfather. So, both Clinton and Obama have deliberated with both leaders - not just one "gentleman" as Trump insinuates.
5. When he said that North Korea used to be apart of China.
Following Trump's meeting with the President of China Xi Jinping, Trump revealed yet another misunderstanding of global history on April 12. Describing his meeting with Xi and their discussion of North Korea, Trump asserted that North Korea was once a part of China. Not only was he wrong, Trump implied that Xi delivered this information. Koreans were outraged by Trump's comments.
6. When the administration failed to mention Jews specifically in its statement for Holocaust Memorial Day
On January 27, Holocaust Remembrance Day, the White House released a particularly tone-deaf statement. While it acknowledged "the victims, survivors, heroes" of the Holocaust, the White House's release did not specifically recognize the six million Jews who died. Many Americans took the administration's omission as an act of anti-Semitism.

14 Celebrity Power Couples Who Ruled the Met Gala Red Carpet 10 Years Ago
There's a lot to love about the Met Gala. On top of the eye-popping high-fashion looks and the event being the ultimate spot for a girls' night out among Hollywood's A-list, it's also the perfect place for celebrity couples to flaunt their relationships. While 2016's fete drew couples like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, the Met Gala's red carpet looked way, way different 10 years ago. From Christina Ricci and Chris Evans (we totally forgot they even dated, to be honest) to longtime couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, join us on a nostalgic little trip down memory lane.
Will Ferrell Hilariously Resumes His George W. Bush Impression to Roast Trump
Samantha Bee brought out the big guns for her Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner special airing on April 29, and it did not disappoint. Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance at the event, bringing back his infamous George W. Bush impression to hilariously speak out against President Trump.
"How do you like me now?" Ferrell asked the crowd, bringing on a massive applause. "Quick presidential update, I'm doing quite well, thank you. History has proven to be kinder to me than many of you thought."
Ferrell continued as Bush: "For the longest time, I was considered the worst president of all time. That has changed. I needed eight years, a catastrophic flood, a war built on a lie, and an economic disaster. The new guy only needed 100 days. He is widely considered the worst president of all time. I came in second. I'm fine with that. No one remembers second place. . . I'm the Martin Van Buren of the 21st century!"
Hasan Minhaj Skewered "the Elephant Not in the Room" at the White House Correspondents' Dinner
But he did not stop there. Ferrell made fun of Bush's relationship with the press, and he also had some fashion advice for President Trump. "The tie stops at the belt," he said. "A big long tie that goes past your mid-thigh does not mean what you think it means. It means I don't know anything about fashion and I should not design my own ties."
His final three words of wisdom? "Eat a salad."

The Details of JonBenét Ramsey's Death Are Just as Chilling as They Were in 1996
The case of JonBenét Ramsey has sparked a renewed interest over the past year thanks to a handful of recent TV specials that have shed more light on her tragic death. Most recently, the Netflix feature-length documentary Casting JonBenét was released - it's a hybrid of fiction and nonfiction that aims to figure out just why the legacy of this unsolved crime still captures the nation's attention. The 6-year-old beauty queen was killed in December 1996, and while her attacker has never been found - suspects have ranged from her parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, to her older brother Burke Ramsey and schoolteacher John Mark Karr, who falsely confessed to the crime - the details of JonBenét's murder are just as chilling as they were 21 years ago.
Make no mistake about it: JonBenét was brutally murdered. The little girl was found wrapped in her white blanket with a nylon cord around her neck, her wrists tied above her head, and duct tape over her mouth. An autopsy of JonBenét's body later revealed that she was struck in the head with a blunt object, which knocked her unconscious. Sometime between 45 minutes to two hours after she was knocked out, she was strangled to death with a garrote made from a piece of cord and the handle from a broken paintbrush. Patsy Ramsey alleged that JonBenét was not wearing the same clothing she went to bed in. The official cause of death was "asphyxia by strangulation associated with craniocerebral trauma," and police later confirmed that she had also been sexually assaulted.
In December 2003, investigators retested a blood sample found on JonBenét's underwear, which was revealed to belong to an unidentified male who was not related to the Ramsey family. In 2008, Burke, along with parents John and Patsy, were officially cleared in the case. To this day, investigators have not been able to identify who the DNA belongs to, and the case remains open.

How to Respond When Your Kids Start Masturbating
Many parents find it superawkward when their kids start masturbating, but it's not only normal, it's healthy. Readers often ask each other how they should respond, especially when kids masturbate in public. There's one fairly common denominator among the responses: teach your child appropriate boundaries without making them feel ashamed. The question is . . . how?
What's Normal?
According to the University of Michigan's Development and Behavior Resources program, the vast majority of kids discover their genitals and the pleasure they can bring by age 6. While discussions seem to revolve mostly around boys and girls who are in the 10 to 13 range, whatever age your child is at when she or he makes this discovery is the time to start discussing when and where this behavior is appropriate.
Carrie A.'s two kids (ages 10 and 13) have been taught that masturbation is fine in the privacy of their bedroom or bathroom, and not in other places. She has promised them she won't come in without knocking, and she always waits for them to say, "Come in." This seems like a respectful approach, and one that will likely build trust in her family.
Door-locking is not allowed in Tisha P.'s home, but her kids, too, know that they have privacy behind the closed doors of their bedrooms. For safety reasons, she has asked her kids to never use objects (only hands), and to wash their hands when they're finished. Beyond that, they are allowed to explore their bodies freely in private.
Should You Respond Differently to Girls vs. Boys?
There does, perhaps not surprisingly, seem to be a discrepancy between parental perceptions of boys versus girls when it comes to masturbation. Many moms see it as normal for boys, but somewhat disturbing when girls do it. This is likely the result of deep cultural biases that many of us hold unconsciously.
Lesley comments that "we seem to find boys exploring their bodies a much more acceptable practice." But she has an 11-year-old daughter and adds that she would rather know that her child is exploring her own body rather than "letting someone else do the 'exploring'" as her daughter enters her teen years.
Eva W. suggests to moms who have discomfort around this to "do some soul searching" to try to understand why you have such difficulty accepting what doctors and psychologists say is perfectly normal behavior. In other words, trying to untangle your own hang-ups can go a long way toward helping your child grow up without shame regarding her body. Eva is walking the talk: she has begun talking about puberty and basic reproduction to her 10-year-old twins, as she believes these are related topics that parents should proactively pursue.
The common-sense takeaway here is that kids age 10-13 clearly understand that certain things are to be done at certain places and times. For example, we eat dinner in the early evening, at the table in the kitchen. We take a bath in the bathroom before we go to bed. It's not a great leap for them to understand that masturbation, like going to the toilet, is private.

The Only Thing Sweeter Than This Unicorn Maternity Shoot Is the Story Behind It
Everything about Emma's pregnancy with baby Penelope was simply magical. Not only did the mom-to-be never expect to be able to conceive due to years of struggling with polycystic ovary syndrome but dad, Spencer, is one of four boys and the fraternal side of his family hasn't had a girl in three generations.
Inspired by this family's story, Staci Eades, of Eastlake Events, knew that she needed to make Emma's maternity photos a memorable celebration that honored their little one's beginning. "Unicorns are special and rare - and new baby Penelope seemed to be just that," Staci shared with POPSUGAR. "She truly seems to be unique, beautiful just as a unicorn!"
Since Penelope isn't just any baby girl, Christine purposefully designed the shoot around purple instead of pastel pink. "To me, typically the color pink just says 'Girl' but purple represents more. A different girl, a special girl, a not so typical girl," Staci added. Check out how Staci transformed this day from typical maternity photos into an enchanting unicorn shoot.
12 Little-Known Facts About The Great British Bake Off
If you haven't watched an episode of the UK's Great British Bake Off, then I just don't understand what you're doing with your free time. The reality baking competition is hugely popular in the UK and is gaining traction in the US thanks to airing on PBS under the name Great British Baking Show. Led by presenters Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins and under the scrutiny of judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, British bakers create breathtaking masterpieces each week in a kitchen set up in a tent. Yes, they bake in a tent outdoors. Granted, it's a pretty fancy tent, but I've seen my fair share of bakers have issues with their bakes simply because of the weather.
Lucky for all of us, the show is available on Netflix here in the US, so you can get a taste for it yourself. If you're even slightly intrigued, keep reading for 12 fun facts about the show that I'm pretty sure will convince you to give it a try.
- Staff bake a Victoria sponge cake in every oven every day before filming. They do this to ensure the ovens are in perfect working condition.
- Professional chefs need not apply for the show. Entry is restricted to only amateur bakers.
- All the dish washing is done by hand, but not by the contestants. Because a dishwasher would be too loud to run while filming, the show employs extra staff just to wash dishes.
- Bakers buy all their own ingredients, which can get pretty pricey for them.
- Bakers are told to flag down a cameraman any time they want to put something into or take something out of the oven so it can be filmed. Those moments are crucial!
- Paul wasn't the showrunners' first choice to be a judge on the show, and it was Mel and Sue who recommended Mary as the other judge.
- It takes 10 weeks to film the show, but it's typically only filmed two days a week. While often it's shot on weekends, allowing the bakers to keep up their typical lives during the week, that's not always the case. Filming also takes up to 16 hours a day!
- Bakers find out what they need to bake for the show beforehand. They have time to prep and practice and get their recipes approved by the show.
- The application process is extensive. It starts with a multiple-page application form, followed by a phone interview, then followed by bringing a couple bakes to London and having an in-person interview. If you've made it this far, you then have to do a technical bake on camera and bring along a bake from home. If you make it through all that, you have to see a psychologist to be sure you can handle the stress of filming.
- There's little animosity between bakers. The show actually encourages them to be friends.
- Producers are on standby in case a baker gets stuck or needs a little help. The show really wants its bakers to succeed!
- Someone is on standby at a nearby store in case a baker forgets an ingredient. Unlike many American cooking shows, where if you don't have all your ingredients you just have to deal with it, GBBO makes sure its bakers have everything they need to achieve their bakes.
There's a "Big Rubber Dong" in These Photos - Can You Find It?
Where's Waldo? fans: I'm sorry. In fact, entire world: I'm sorry. But it must be known that an Instagram account exists that allows braves souls to search elaborate photos in hopes of discovering a hidden item. Unfortunately, it's not a nerdy-looking guy in glasses and a red-and-white-striped shirt. It's a dildo. A "subtle dildo," in fact. In each image on the Subtle Dildo account hides a plastic penis-like sex toy for followers to find, sort of like I Spy but much weirder. Sometimes it's pretty easy to spot the fleshy bit of erect plastic, but other times it takes long enough to spot the dildo that you find yourself questioning what you're doing with your life and why finding a self-proclaimed "big rubber dong" is so important. Good luck, and godspeed. Unfortunately the account hasn't been updated in a while, but we can only dream (or have nightmares) about its return. In the meantime, if you're stumped, checked the comments on each image - users can help you find what you're looking for!
