Is there still a hair tie around it? Between his shining grill, matching chains, and bouquet of hair, this kid is too cool for us. Keep reading to see photos of Jaden and blonde date.

And, of course, how could we not mention that edgy black wig and matching dark lipstick she wore to tie her tribute to Rei Kawakubo together? Have a look at Lily's head-turning look ahead.

We couldn't help but think about other things that the singer and event cochair reminded us of, including everything from Game of Thrones characters to Lady Gaga. Read on to see what else could have inspired the performer's unique look!

Pharrell Williams Missed the Met Gala Dress Code Memo, but His Wife Sure as Hell Didn't

Although Pharrell Williams is one of the Met Gala cohosts this year, his wife, Helen Lasichanh, totally stole the spotlight on the red carpet. When the couple arrived, our jaws dropped at her over-the-top look: a voluminous bright-red jumpsuit of sorts with no apparent armholes (which made for some semiawkward poses and quite the plethora of entertaining internet reactions). We've gotta hand it to her - she really stuck to the avant-garde theme of the evening, which is an ode to Comme des Garcons designer Rei Kawakubo.

Meanwhile Pharrell was chillin' in a plaid button-down shirt, leather jacket, and ripped jeans, which seems a tad casual for the occasion. But hey, he did attach a handful of cool acrylic pins to his leather jacket; plus he had "REI" stitched on one knee of his jeans as a tribute to the famed designer, so we'll give him an A for effort.

Read on to see the interesting juxtaposition between the couple's Met Gala outfit choices.

Selena Gomez Is Wearing the Sexy Slip of Your '90s Dreams at the Met

Selena Gomez caused quite the stir when she showed up on the Met Gala red carpet with her beau, The Weeknd. But all buzzy, gushy couple gossip aside, the star looked comfortable. Wearing a barely there floral slip from Coach, low metallic sandals, and a complementing choker, Selena could have walked straight out from her bedroom - mind you, she added a colorful swipe of makeup or two. Coach designer Stuart Vevers said her gown was meant to emulate a "1930s slip," and we never thought otherwise, not even for an instant. Read on for an all-angles view.

Priyanka Chopra Dared to Wear Only a Trench Coat on the Red Carpet

Is it a dress? A trench coat? Both? That's probably what you asked yourself when you spotted Priyanka Chopra's outfit at the Met Gala. The actress showed up in a cool custom Ralph Lauren creation and black ankle boots. She scrunched up the sleeves for a quick styling trick while her coat's train trailed behind her as she ascended the steps.

It appears Priyanka wore no clothes underneath her trench coat dress, which immediately upped the sexy factor. It was a pretty badass look, though no surprise here, given she plays a CIA agent on Quantico.

The Force Is With Daisy Ridley in This Stunning Oscar de la Renta Dress

The Met Gala is in full swing, and the Force is definitely working in Daisy Ridley's favor. The Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress walked the red carpet in a custom black and white Oscar de la Renta gown. The design featured a high-low hemline and bold floral pattern. If you look closely, you'll notice that the structure of the dress is tiered and gathered in areas. She finished off her look with black ankle-strapped heels. Ahead, have a look at her Met Gala ensemble.

Katy Perry Let Her Avant-Garde Down For This Year's Met Gala

Katy Perry gave Met Gala-goers (and us at home) a reason to stop and stare at her red-hot look for the evening. She took the Commes des Garcons signature red shade and avant-garde style quite literally, outfitting herself in what appears to be a giant work of art.

Let's break down her beauty look: she topped her short new blond haircut with a red veil that was anything but bridal. It spelled out "hotness" across it in quirky letters. The eye symbol is likely a nod to the ones in the classic Commes Des Garcons heart motif.

Under the headpiece, she sported a glittery red lip and smoky, shimmery blue eye shadow. Basically, Katy went for it!

Oh, and don't forget about her nail art, also featuring iconic Commes Des Garcons motifs.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd Look Like They Got Married at the Met Gala

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are getting more and more comfortable with showing off their love for the cameras. Aside from posing for the flashing cameras, the two also snuck in a little PDA as they pulled each other in close for a hug. They looked like something right out of a wedding magazine!

Beyoncé truly looked like a work of art on Saturday night. The "Sorry" singer, who is expecting twins with husband Jay Z, attended her mom Tina Lawson's Wearable Art Gala at the California African American Museum in LA on Saturday. The mom of Blue Ivy stunned in a floral headpiece and a red silk dress that showed off her growing baby bump. Beyoncé attended the gala with Jay and Blue, but the trio skipped the red carpet. The outing also comes just one day after Bey attended pal Jessica Alba's "Prince vs. Michael Jackson" birthday party in LA.

Adriana Lima's Met Gala Gown Proves That Some Things Never Go Out of Style

Adriana Lima hit the 2017 Met Gala red carpet wearing an elegant black gown complete with a deep neckline and high slit, of course. The supermodel paired the figure-flattering dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and diamond earrings and a ring from Chopard. Interestingly, Adriana's gown didn't seem to fit the edgy and avant-garde theme, which is all about Comme des Garcons and Rei Kawakubo. On the other hand, it was undeniably her. Ahead, see pictures of Adriana's classic look.

The World's Most Expensive Panini Press Wants to Make Your Life Easier

At first glance, you might think the Cinder Grill is a regular panini press, but you'd be wrong. With the tagline "cook food perfectly," the Cinder claims that overcooking is impossible and food can stay within 1° of the target temperature for hours inside the Cinder. With aspirations to replace the sous vide, the Cinder not only cooks foods all the way through but also allows you to sear them on the same surface.

This High School Celebrated Meme Day Because the Internet Is a Strange and Beautiful Thing

For some people, memes aren't just jokes on the internet - they are a way of life. If you exist in today's world, you've definitely used a meme or two to explain how you're feeling about your day. Teens totally do the same, which is why one high school created a whole spirit day around memes.

Olympian High School in Chula Vista, California, recently celebrated senior spirit week. One of the day's themes centered around dressing as a meme. 18-year old student Nicole Pinto, who tweets as Twitter user h0neymami, posted one tweet about the day that quickly went viral. The video shows several people as memes like mannequin head, math lady, tiny hands, lime cat, and Salt Bae. Her tweet currently has more than 4,700 retweets and 9,000 likes.

In another tweet, Allan Dizon posted photos of the group, which you can see above. As you can clearly see, these teens took meme day seriously. Some people on Twitter were wishing their school had a meme day.

To be perfectly honest, we wish we had a meme day at the office, too.

La La Anthony Looks Ready to Rule the Underworld at the Met Gala - and We Love It

Is La La Anthony sending a message to Carmelo Anthony with her Met Gala dress? We think yes based on the picture she posted on Instagram with the caption "Unbreakable."

That's besides the point, though, because La La looked like a queen of the night in her nearly naked Thai Nguyen Atelier gown. The 37-year-old's black and blue dress showed a lot of skin but still looked very classy paired with her Lorraine Schwartz jewels. To be honest, she should be sitting on a throne in that dress. Keep scrolling to see Queen La La in all her glory.

13 Signs Your Best Friend Is Your Ride-or-Die

Some of us have been blessed with that one standout friend who you know will still be a huge part of your life when you grow older. You two have an unbreakable bond that's withstood its fair share of hardships, and partners who've come and gone have always felt the need to compete. If you have someone in mind who fits this description exactly, know that friends like these aren't easy to come by. Never take him or her for granted, not even for one second, because not everyone has the privilege to have an incredible lifelong companion. Chances are that you probably know who this person is, but in case you need more hints, here's 13 signs he or she is your ride-or-die:

  1. They'll drop whatever they're doing to talk: Whether it's in the middle of work or in the middle of the night, if you say you need to talk, they'll pick up.
  2. You truly never feel judged: They love and accept you for exactly who you are, including all of your poor moral and outfit choices.
  3. You never have to worry about them talking sh*t about you: They're always in your defense no matter what's being said - even if it's a rumor they know is true.
  4. Your exes are their exes: If they see your assh*le ex on the street, they give their best glare as if he or she broke their heart, too.
  5. Distance makes no difference: The miles between you two never get in the way. They reach out regularly and/or things are exactly as they were when you two reunite.
  6. You can trust them with your darkest secrets: You never have to worry about any of your words resurfacing to the wrong people.
  7. They're not afraid to keep you in check: They tell it like it is because they have your best interests at heart. They'd rather make you angry than hold you from the truth.
  8. You can depend on them for anything: From saving your ass to letting you borrow money, you know they'll be there for you.
  9. They'll lie for you but never lie to you: Honesty is the foundation of your friendship and they keep it real, no exceptions.
  10. They support you endlessly: They're right there cheering for you at the sidelines with homemade T-shirts and all - no matter how big or small the goal.
  11. They see your problems as theirs: They feel your pain and genuinely want to help you figure out the best solution.
  12. They love you like family: They consider you blood even though you're not related and treat you as if you were.
  13. They're irreplaceable: You couldn't imagine anyone else in the world taking their place because nobody could possibly fill their shoes.

Why Is Trump's Embrace of the Philippines President Problematic?

Trump's election was symptomatic of an international trend toward populism and antiestablishment leadership. Rodrigo Duterte, who was elected President of the Philippines a few months before Trump, is not exactly a benevolent dealmaker. When Trump invited Duterte to visit the White House on April 30, during a "very friendly conversation," both Republicans and Democrats expressed their concern - and for good reason.

Duterte ran his campaign promising to eradicate crime and target drug users as well as dealers. Since ascending to power, Duterte instigated what has come to be described as "death squads" or extrajudicial crime-fighters who have slaughtered more than 7,000 drug users and distributors across the country. Perhaps more troubling is Duterte's defense of the killings. In a September speech after he secured the presidency, Duterte expressed a troubling comparison between the Holocaust and his war on drugs.

"Hitler massacred 3 million Jews. Now there is 3 million, what is it, 3 million drug addicts (in the Philippines)," Duterte said. "I'd be happy to slaughter them. At least if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have (me)."

Duterte's praise of Hitler is sadly not the first time he has disturbed human rights activists. During his campaign, Duterte proudly admitted to killing addicts when he was mayor of Davao City. "(I'd) go around Davao with a motorcycle, with big bike around and I would just patrol the streets and looking for trouble also," said Duterte. "I was really looking for an encounter so I could kill."

If you haven't guessed it yet, Duterte is definitely not a leader the United States wants to align itself with. But that didn't seem to concern Trump who also, according to Duterte's spokesman, expressed understanding about the Philippines' drug problems.

Republicans, Democrats, and even members of Trump's own administration have criticized the president's embrace of Duterte. Though Trump's affinity for Duterte is unsurprising given their similar inflammatory dispositions, Trump's tacit approval of crimes against humanity is troubling.

John Sifton, who heads Human Rights Watch's East Asia division, told The New York Times that Trump should be ashamed. "By essentially endorsing Duterte's murderous war on drugs, Trump is now morally complicit in future killings," said Sifton.

It doesn't seem that Duterte will be visiting the White House anytime soon, however. The Philippines leader said he might be too busy to accept Trump's invitation. "I am tied up. I cannot make any definite promise," Duterte told reporters on May 1. "I am supposed to go to Russia, I am supposed to go to Israel."

These Celebrity Couples Put All of Our Date Nights to Shame at the Met Gala

The Met Gala was clearly the place to be for celebrity couples on Monday night. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen arrived in style (and quickly heated up the Metropolitan Museum of Art with their PDA), while Pharrell Williams and wife Helen Lasichanh took a night off from hanging with their triplets to make quite a fashion statement. Although we didn't think it was possible, everyone there might have even outdone the lovebirds who hit the red carpet last year.

Joan Smalls Is Pure Punk and Heat in a Fiery Red Dress at the Met Gala

On a regular red carpet, the old saying goes, red must be avoided, but not at the 2017 Met Gala. The event celebrating Comme des Garcons's Rei Kawakubo was meant to be flooded with scarlet gowns galore, since the shade is one the designer loves. Joan Smalls definitely got the memo, wearing a Topshop red dress with a low-cut neckline, a high slit, and side cutouts. Can you say sexy?

The dress was so punk, with tiny silver studs and chain details around the trimming, which is why Joan paired it with a fake lip ring and a few cartilage studs. Keep reading to see Joan's very on-theme dress, then remember her crystal gown from last year's gala.

If You Love Boobs, You'll Love This Ad For Breast Cancer Awareness

Here's the thing: social media still censors photos of breasts that include nipples, even if the photo is for breast cancer awareness. Why is this a big deal? Because women need to know what they're looking for to detect breast cancer. Thanks to this type of censorship, people can't circulate photos of actual breasts, so a photo of lemons emulating signs of breast cancer went viral. Seriously. It's a dozen lemons in an egg carton. We can't show boobs with breast cancer, but bring on the lemons with lumps!

Argentina's MACMA: Movimiento Ayuda Cáncer de Mama created the #EverybodyLovesBoobs song and campaign to break through censorship in the cheekiest of ways. This video is hilarious, albeit mildly disturbing, but shares a lot of truths about the impact of breast cancer.

CBS News Anchors Failed to Ask Ivanka Trump Any Policy Questions in Her Latest Interview

No matter how accomplished a woman is, she will undoubtedly encounter gendered questions about her day-to-day life in interviews. Ivanka Trump, who just landed a position in the White House, is no different. During an unplanned appearance on CBS News's White House broadcast on May 1, the hosts chatted with Trump for roughly 10 minutes and failed to ask her a single question on policy or her work.

Instead, hosts Gayle King, Charlie Rose, and Erica Hill questioned Trump about adjusting to life in DC, her kids, and whether she ever sees her husband Jared Kushner (presumably because he is also busy in her father's administration).

"It has been adjustment for our family," said Trump. "But it's actually a really lovely place to live. The museums are incredible. There's space, which is nice. I think in New York you lack that."

Trump also talked about her standing date with her daughter to explore the city's landmarks. "There's really a lot to do. I think there's a lot to do in New York as well," Trump said. "But I think when you've grown up in a place, you actually take it for granted a little bit more. So we've been having fun."

In all fairness, the interview was spontaneous. The interview occurred because Trump popped her head into the room where CBS was filming. The hosts then convinced her to briefly appear on the broadcast - which accounts for some of the interview's levity - and the hosts seemed to recognize the conversation's superficiality.

"We want to invite you back here for serious conversations about what you're doing," Rose added. "We sort of coaxed you to sit down and you weren't expecting it." Kushner also makes an unexpected appearance in the background of the interview, though the hosts were unsuccessful in persuading him to join his wife on the broadcast.

Given that the Trump administration has already rolled back programs that benefit women and children, causes Trump has said she champions, perhaps Trump's next interview will elicit more concrete answers. The public definitely deserves to hear why she allowed the administration to scrap former First Lady Michelle Obama's Let Girls Learn initiative.

Claire Danes Wore the Complete Opposite of a Princess Ballgown to the Met Gala

Claire Danes did a complete 180 from her Met Gala look last year. She didn't arrive in a Cinderella-esque ball gown; instead she wore a deconstructed blouse and black trousers from Monse, a look fresh off the Fall 2017 runway. The ruffled ensemble stood in sharp contrast to Claire's previous feminine look. This year's outfit was edgier for the star and definitely a bolder choice, which Claire seemingly rocked with confidence.

There's also one other thing. Claire's top may remind you of Jerry Seinfeld. Specifically, the ruffles bared an uncanny resemblance to a blouse Jerry wore in the "Puffy Shirt" episode, though if you ask us, Claire pulled hers off flawlessly. Read on to see Claire's full look, and let us know if you see the similarities.
