Though it's been quite a few years since Carly Rae Jepsen looked like she did in the above photo, that's how we'll always remember the "Call Me Maybe" singer - brunette, long bangs, and a beaming smile. Tonight, however, she attended the People's Choice Awards with a much bolder beauty style . . . but it looks familiar. It hit us immediately - she looks just like Janis from Mean Girls!
Look closely: they both sport piecey, jet-black hair and smudgy charcoal liner. Neither Janis nor Carly Rae is wearing lipstick; they've opted for a clear balm. And their fair complexions lack any trace of contour, bronzer, or highlighter. Way to go, Carly, for bringing back early aughts beauty on the 2016 red carpet!
