Ashley Benson Gets Candid About the Pressure to Lose Weight in Hollywood
From the outside looking in, Ashley Benson is on top of the world. The stunning Pretty Little Liars actress has a successful career and an awesome girl squad, but she recently shared intimate details about Hollywood's pressure to maintain a slim figure in an interview for her March Health magazine cover story.
"I get told all the time to lose weight. I got that a month ago. It's just weird," Ashley told Health. But Ashley has remained true to herself despite the pressures from Hollywood. "I'm just sitting here like, 'Wait, what? Do you want a skeleton?' But I feel good. I don't want to lose 20 pounds, because I don't need to."
And while she claims her body-confidence strategy is a work in progress, Ashley is all about acceptance - even though she doesn't hesitate to throw on a pair of Spanx every now and then.
