How to Use the Night Shift Mode on iOS 9.3
Apple knows you value your sleep probably as much as you value your iPhone, which is why it's rolled out a useful new feature in the latest iOS update. The feature, called Night Shift, is available only on iOS 9.3, and it should help reduce your eye strain late at night.
Night Shift mode is easy to use and set up. It makes your display warmer at night, so that your eyes aren't trying to focus extrahard on your phone screen. You can either choose to start a scheduled time or let it happen automatically. If you go with the latter option, your iPhone uses your geolocation to find out when the sunset and sunrise is to adjust your screen display settings.
This handy feature won't just be easier on your eyes. You can also use it to save your precious battery life - but there's a catch. To use both "Low Power Mode" and Night Shift, you need to first turn on low power mode. Then, ask Siri to "Enable Night Shift."
Keep reading to see how to turn on this hack from both your settings and control center. Then read up on what else you might've missed from Apple's event on March 21.
