Pokémon Go Players Are Going to Some Wild Places to Catch 'Em All

Unless you were in quarantine for the past week, it's likely you either played the much-hyped Pokémon Go game, or at the very least witnessed someone running down the street with their iPhone held in front of them, flinging Pokéballs at an augmented reality-version of the world around them. And as time goes on, people are increasingly going to some crazy lengths in order to catch 'em all - and capturing it all on social media.

The beautiful thing about Pokémon Go is that it hits the perfect sweet spot between video game and social platform, meaning that every insane feat that a user accomplishes can be broadcast to the world, issuing a challenge to other users to one-up what they've seen. Luckily for us, that means that we can bask in the products of each wild Pokémon catch - and the competition continues to grow as brands, organizations, and entertainers throw their hats in the ring as well. I'm pretty sure that these 15 Pokémon snapshots are just the beginning of what we're going to see in the coming weeks and months, and boy, am I excited to see what comes next.
