Air France Just Introduced a New Airline Geared Toward Millennials

In between high-end airlines like Emirates and Turkish Airlines in Europe and budget companies like easyJet and Wow Air, there's whole other market in air travel. Enter Joon, the newest member of the Air France family, an airline that's attempting to hone in on a specific type of traveler. Joon says it is "designed for today's generation," with features that are likely to appeal to millennials.

"Joon is especially aimed at a young working clientele, the millennials (18 to 35-year-olds), whose lifestyles revolve around digital technology," the press release said. "This new brand has been entirely designed to meet their requirements and aspirations, with an authentic and connected offering that stands out in the world of air transport."

Air France says Joon will differ from lower-cost airlines because it plans to offer products and services that "reflect those of Air France." True to its "hip" vibe, Joon cabin crew members will reportedly dress "like its customers" in trendy, minimalistic uniforms.

Medium-haul flights with the airline will be from Paris-Charles de Gaulle from this starting this Fall; long-haul flights are slated to start in Summer 2018. The destinations are to be determined, for now. Get a preview of the new airline ahead and decide for yourself if you'll be booking with Joon when the airline launches!
