Meryl Streep Has a Michelle and Barack Obama Purse and Oh My God
Just when we thought Meryl Streep couldn't possibly get anymore badass, she goes and does something like showing off her hilarious accessories. The legendary actress further earned her title of overall queen of everything when she was photographed leaving her trailer on the set of her upcoming film, The Papers, in New York City on Monday. While her general persona is enough to whip people's heads around, it was actually her purse that really caught our eye. Meryl was carrying an amazing custom bag that featured a photo of the former president and first lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, on the front.
Meryl's simple fashion statement is her latest move to show her support for our former president, who, unlike our current one, cared about humanity. The actress previously made headlines in January when she gave an amazing speech at the Golden Globe Awards that slammed Donald Trump and his views on immigration and people with disabilities. Her recent outing also isn't the first time she's shown her love for someone through her clothes. In June, Meryl dressed up like Diane Keaton to honor Diane Keaton . . . and it was perfect.
