Move Over, Captain Kirk! Star Trek: Discovery Looks Empowering as Hell
Come Sept. 24, a whole new generation will be introduced to the Star Trek TV universe when Star Trek: Discovery begins on CBS. The network unveiled the full trailer for the new iteration on Saturday, during the show's Comic-Con panel. Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) and Michelle Yeoh are at the forefront of the action, which is a real change of pace from the traditional Star Trek properties that focus on Captain Kirk and Spock. It's a good time to get into the franchise! Take a look at the latest trailer, which also features Jason Isaacs and guest star Rainn Wilson.
