Prepare to Be Amazed at Mandy Moore Transforming Into Her 66-Year-Old Self on This Is Us
Last year, Mandy Moore stole our hearts in the NBC hit show This Is Us. One of the coolest parts of her role is how we get to see her at two different stages of life. The show flips between the past and the present, and at the present, the actress is 66-year-old Rebecca Pearson.
As a fan of the show, it's amazing to not only see how the family dynamic changes in 30 years, but also how Mandy's character has aged. Mandy recently gave fans an inside look at the process of getting turned into her older character as she prepares for the second season of the show, and it's intense!
"This is 66," she said on an Instagram live video. "Look how incredible all of this is. We haven't even done any of the painting and stuff yet."

According to People, Mandy's team of makeup artists pulled at her face to create wrinkles, added some puffiness around her eyes, and shaded dark spots on her face. However, they didn't touch her forehead because her character has bangs.

"The hardest part is the removal process," she said in the video. "It's pretty tricky, and it's really hard on my skin. I have really sensitive skin."
The power of makeup is insane, and as Mandy wrote, "getting older is a lot of work."
